This study constructs a data processing model that supports government information system. By designing a deep learning algorithm suitable for government scenarios, intelligent processing functions such as text analysis and image recognition are integrated into the system, aiming to achieve accurate processing of multi-source government data. The model design includes data preprocessing, feature extraction, algorithm optimization and adaptive learning modules to improve the recognition and analysis capabilities of complex government data. Through system simulation, this paper verifies the effectiveness of the proposed model. The simulation data shows that the model is significantly superior to traditional methods in data processing speed, accuracy and resource utilization. Precise experimental results show that the accuracy of the model in text data classification, image data recognition and other aspects reaches more than 96%. At the same time, it can effectively shorten the processing time in large-scale data processing tasks, providing technical support for the practical application of intelligent government information system. This study provides an efficient and scalable solution for intelligent data processing in government information system. © 2025 IEEE.

The objective of this work is to propose a new machine learning based approach for ASD classification from fMRI data employing deep learning architecture and novel preprocessing method. Main datasets included in ABIDE I, ABIDE II, Human Connectome Project (HCP), and Social Functions and Autism Research Interface (SFARI). Many supplements include graph neural networks for brain segmentation, 3D-BRA for accurate mapping of the brain than just using conventional registration technique, EN-CC for feature selection. The approach incorporated graph neural network for segmentation of the brain, 3DBRA mapping that translates and rotates the brain precisely unlike the general technique of registration, EN-CC for selecting the features. The deep learning models under consideration were ResNet-50, VGG-16, Inception-v3, and Efficient Net which were improved through ABSC and MSTC. Classification accuracy of the proposed models was higher than 95% on all the datasets with Efficient Net scoring 99% on the SFARI dataset. This means that only the Stratified Group Cross-Validation (SGCV) was employed to make sure the results would be more reliable. The results present a considerable improvement in both accuracy and the interpretability of the derived connectivity profiles of the ASD-related brain. © 2024 IEEE.

Exploring digital twin technology through the creation of 3D digital model offers a powerful tool for enhancing real-time monitoring, predictive analysis, and optimization of complex systems. The purpose of this study is to develop a 3D digital model of our building campus as the first step towards developing a digital twin of the university. In this study, we develop a digital model with integrated 3D point clouds and 3D modeling techniques. By scanning the physical model of the campus, data in the form of point clouds is extracted and unnecessary noise is deleted using Autodesk Recap Pro. These point clouds are used as a benchmark to ensure the 3D models created using Blender are as accurate as possible to the physical model. After successfully creating the digital model, several features/interactions are implemented using Unity to mimic the physical model, thus developing the digital twin. The digital twin of the campus will be used to develop a virtual tour of the campus. We concluded that the 3D digital model of the campus was successfully developed, despite the time-consuming nature of the process. We hope that this study serves as a reference to optimize and enhance digital twin development in the future. © 2024 IEEE.

Breast cancer is the second most common type of cancer due to which females have such a high mortality rate. Several computer-assisted diagnostic systems have recently been proposed to operate with the least amount of data necessary due to the high number of unnecessary breast biopsies. The following review paper discusses the entire process of breast cancer classification along with various kinds of neural networks used to build such models. Building an operation and maintenance system for teaching buildings that integrates"three-dimensional visualization" and"digital informatization" is essential for realizing a smart campus. To address the limitations of current systems in real-time monitoring and visualization, this study integrates Internet of Things (IoT) technology with WebGIS three-dimensional visualization techniques to develop an operation and maintenance management system, taking the teaching building of the school of computer Science at Qinghai University as a case study. The system achieves real-time data collection and dynamic monitoring through IoT devices, and integrates multiple functions, including live three-dimensional model display, indoor and outdoor environmental monitoring, fire alarm and early warning, classroom and equipment management, security monitoring, and energy consumption analysis. This system not only facilitates the transformation of traditional teaching buildings into smart and information-based infrastructure, but also provides operational staff with efficient and intelligent management tools. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

This paper focuses on performing sentiment analysis of cosmetic reviews using a machine learning algorithm. The study aims to classify reviews into positive, neutral, and negative opinions using aspect-based sentiment analysis with TF-IDF and SVM algorithms. The research questions include understanding user opinions on cosmetic products and identifying the most common positive and negative sentiments in reviews. Data cleaning, tokenization, stopwords removal, normalization, and lemmatization techniques are employed to achieve these goals. The study uses the Makeup Alley website as a data source and employs web scraping to obtain the data. The Natural Language Toolkit (NLTK) is used to simplify the removal of stopwords. The research seeks to document the step-by-step process of developing a sentiment analysis application tailored to cosmetic product reviews. © 2024 IEEE.

Multiprocessor Task Scheduling Optimization for Cyber-Physical System Using an Improved Salp Swarm Optimization Algorithm

Salp Swarm Algorithm (SSA) is a bio-inspired optimization algorithm used in this paper to optimize the multiprocessor scheduling process in the current cyber-physical system. Although SSA is mainly utilized in terms of local search, in our case, an improved version has been introduced with the use of a Local Search Algorithm (LSA) and binary SSA, namely Improved SSA (ISSA). More to the point, eight optimization algorithms are compared with this proposed ISSA namely SSA, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Genetic Algorithm (GA), Grey Wolf Optimizer (GWO), Jaya Algorithm (JAYA), Chaotic Squirrel Search Algorithm (CSSA), Quantum-inspired Binary Chaotic Salp Swarm Algorithm (QBCSSA) and Space Transformation Search (STS) with SSA is termed as STS-SSA. The performance of ISSA along with the other 6 meta-heuristic and 2 improved versions of SSA algorithms are compared with 12 traditional benchmark functions and evaluated for 100 and 300 dimensions. Convergent curves have also been demonstrated and the proposed ISSA has been shown to find a global optimum within the very initial phase of iterations. For calculating the efficiency of the proposed algorithm, the gear train design problem has been employed. The proposed algorithm has demonstrated higher accuracy rates and better convergent values than the other applied algorithms. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Competitive programming (CP) is a mind sports activity where people solve problems using command-line computer programs to provide correct output for the given test cases. Competitors need to practice problem-solving and mathematics as well as study algorithms and data structures to perform well in CP. This study aims to provide an original way to perform a trend analysis in CP, distinguishing topics frequently used in CP contests. To fulfill our goal, we create topic models based on previous topic modeling works to do natural language processing tasks using Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) and Biterm Topic Model (BTM). For our dataset, we constructed a corpus from Codeforces blog posts, a popular website for competitive programmers, by extracting its content and user comments. Our results indicate that BTM is powerful enough to do trend analysis in CP. The trend analysis recognized that dynamic programming and complexity analysis have been the most prominent topics for the last ten years. Data structures and string algorithms are runners-up that may have potential trends in the future. This study opens up further research on other methods to perform trend analysis using better topic models and corpora. © 2024 The Authors.

The escalating interest of skincare among Indonesian young adults reflects the rising trend in the skincare industry. However, this heightened interest also brings several challenges, like the lack of knowledge and confusion when selecting the right skincare products for our skin type. This underscores the need for an effective and efficient skin type classification and product recommendation system. This paper addresses this challenge by focusing on enhancing a skincare application's user interface and overall experience. This research employed User-Centered Design (UCD), implementing Design Sprint, and Goal-Directed Design (GDD) methodologies to achieve a high value of user satisfaction. The Sprint process is used to create the design prototype efficiently, and the Goal-Directed method is performed to create specific, measurable goals. Our evaluation shows that an iterative design process based on user feedback results in higher user satisfaction. The analysis indicated a significant increase of approximately 25% in both effectiveness and efficiency among users when using the application. Initially, the first iteration reveals a low value of approximately 59% in overall effectiveness and efficiency. However, a substantial boost to around 83.5% was seen after a redesign. This improvement proved that User-Centered Design methodologies highly influence user perception and satisfaction. © 2024 IEEE.

This research explores the critical impact of dietary habits on health, addressing the lack of awareness regarding nutritional content that leads to issues such as malnutrition. The proposed mobile application utilizes the YOLOv8 algorithm with a deep convolutional neural network (CNN) architecture, deployed on the Roboflow server, a local MySQL database server, and ChatGPT. The architectural framework of this application is integrated through the NodeJs server via an API system embedded within the Android application. Despite this approach, the study highlights the need for further refinement in the accuracy of the ingredients' object detection model. The refined YOLOv8 model, trained on an extensive dataset of 24,583 images across 13 food ingredient classes, outperforms the initial YOLOv8 model trained on 9,867 images. Improvements are notable, particularly in addressing misclassifications of ingredients such as beef, pork, onion, and egg in the initial model. However, the YOLOv8 model can still be improved by introducing more ingredient variations and expanding the training dataset. This application can detect multiple food ingredients from an image and evaluate their nutritional value, specifically in calorie count. It also provides tailored recipes to help users meet their daily nutritional requirements, offering a practical solution for users to achieve their dietary goals. This research connects computer vision and nutrition, providing insights for developing practical solutions in this domain. © 2024 IEEE.
