Data-driven output regulation control for constrained linear systems

This study introduces a data-driven approach for state and output feedback control addressing the constrained output regulation problem in unknown linear discrete-time systems. Our method ensures effective tracking performance while satisfying the state and input constraints, even when system matrices are not available. We first establish a sufficient condition necessary for the existence of a solution pair to the regulator equation and propose a data-based approach to obtain the feedforward and feedback control gains for state feedback control using linear programming. Furthermore, we design a refined Luenberger observer to accurately estimate the system state, while keeping the estimation error within a predefined set. By combining output regulation theory, we develop an output feedback control strategy. The stability of the closed-loop system is rigorously proved to be asymptotically stable by further leveraging the concept of λ-contractive sets.

This paper investigates the consensus control of multi-agent systems(MASs) with constrained input using the dynamic event-triggered mechanism(ETM).Consider the MASs with small-scale networks where a centralized dynamic ETM with global information of the MASs is first ***,a distributed dynamic ETM which only uses local information is developed for the MASs with large-scale *** is shown that the semi-global consensus of the MASs can be achieved by the designed bounded control protocol where the Zeno phenomenon is eliminated by a designable minimum inter-event *** addition,it is easier to find a trade-off between the convergence rate and the minimum inter-event time by an adjustable ***,the results are extended to regional consensus of the MASs with the bounded control *** simulations show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

This paper introduces the African Bison Optimization(ABO)algorithm,which is based on biological *** is inspired by the survival behaviors of the African bison,including foraging,bathing,jousting,mating,and *** foraging behavior prompts the bison to seek a richer food source for *** bison find a food source,they stick around for a while by bathing *** jousting behavior makes bison stand out in the population,then the winner gets the chance to produce offspring in the mating *** eliminating behavior causes the old or injured bison to be weeded out from the herd,thus maintaining the excellent *** above behaviors are translated into ABO by mathematical *** assess the reliability and performance of ABO,it is evaluated on a diverse set of 23 benchmark functions and applied to solve five practical engineering problems with *** findings from the simulation demonstrate that ABO exhibits superior and more competitive performance by effectively managing the trade-off between exploration and exploitation when compared with the other nine popular metaheuristics algorithms.

Online social networks greatly promote peoples'online interaction,where trust plays a crucial *** prediction with trust path search is widely used to help users find the trusted friends and obtain valid ***,the shortcomings of accuracy and time still exist in some famous ***,the dynamic bidirectional heuristic search(DBHS)algorithm is proposed in this paper to find the reliable trust path by studying the heuristic ***,the trust value and path length are comprehensively considered to find the most trusted ***,it constrains the traversal depth based on the‘small world’theory and obtains the acceptable path set by using the relaxation coefficientλto relax the depth of the shortest *** this way,some longer path with the higher trust can be considered to improve the precision of ***,an adjustment factor is designed based on the meet in the middle(MM)algorithm to assign search weights to two directions based on the size of the search tree expanded,so as to improve the problem of no priori when fixed parameters are ***,the complexity of unidirectional trust path search can also be reduced by searching from two directions,which can reduce the depth and improve the efficiency of ***,the predictive trust degree is outputted by the trust propagation *** public datasets are used to generate experimental results,which show that DBHS can quickly search and form reliable trust relationship,and it partly improves other algorithms.

Accurately diagnosing Alzheimer's disease is essential for improving elderly ***,accurate prediction of the mini-mental state examination score also can measure cognition impairment and track the progression of Alzheimer's ***,most of the existing methods perform Alzheimer's disease diagnosis and mini-mental state examination score prediction separately and ignore the relation between these two *** address this challenging problem,we propose a novel multi-task learning method,which uses feature interaction to explore the relationship between Alzheimer's disease diagnosis and minimental state examination score *** our proposed method,features from each task branch are firstly decoupled into candidate and non-candidate parts for ***,we propose feature sharing module to obtain shared features from candidate features and return shared features to task branches,which can promote the learning of each *** validate the effectiveness of our proposed method on multiple *** Alzheimer's disease neuroimaging initiative 1 dataset,the accuracy in diagnosis task and the root mean squared error in prediction task of our proposed method is 87.86%and 2.5,*** results show that our proposed method outperforms most state-of-the-art *** proposed method enables accurate Alzheimer's disease diagnosis and mini-mental state examination score ***,it can be used as a reference for the clinical diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease,and can also help doctors and patients track disease progression in a timely manner.

Marine Internet of Things (Marine IoT) has garnered increasing interest in monitoring oceanic environments. But establishing a Marine IoT system for observing and processing marine environmental data presents various challenges. These include limited underwater communication bandwidth, and uneven distribution of tasks among data-sensing devices. This paper proposes an Edge Computing-RESTful (ECR) architecture to efficiently integrate and process the substantial volume of data gathered through marine observations. 1) The ECR method is introduced for task collaborative migration, aiming to schedule and manage the tasks within the Marine IoT system. 2) Through unified scheduling and management of tasks, the edge gateway can facilitate migration, scheduling, and interaction of task loads among various edge sensing devices. The proposed dynamic and adaptive approach matches computing tasks with edge sensing devices, minimizing energy consumption and migration delay within the Marine IoT system. Simulation results validate the superiority of the proposed method for Marine IoT, showcasing improved performance metrics such as reduced time delays and lower energy consumption during task collaborative migration. © 2024 IEEE.

In data mining and machine learning,feature selection is a critical part of the process of selecting the optimal subset of features based on the target *** are 2n potential feature subsets for every n features in a dataset,making it difficult to pick the best set of features using standard ***,in this research,a new metaheuristics-based feature selection technique based on an adaptive squirrel search optimization algorithm(ASSOA)has been *** using metaheuristics to pick features,it is common for the selection of features to vary across runs,which can lead to *** of this,we used the adaptive squirrel search to balance exploration and exploitation duties more evenly in the optimization *** the selection of the best subset of features,we recommend using the binary ASSOA search strategy we developed *** to the suggested approach,the number of features picked is reduced while maximizing classification accuracy.A ten-feature dataset from the University of California,Irvine(UCI)repository was used to test the proposed method’s performance *** other state-of-the-art approaches,including binary grey wolf optimization(bGWO),binary hybrid grey wolf and particle swarm optimization(bGWO-PSO),bPSO,binary stochastic fractal search(bSFS),binary whale optimization algorithm(bWOA),binary modified grey wolf optimization(bMGWO),binary multiverse optimization(bMVO),binary bowerbird optimization(bSBO),binary hybrid GWO and genetic algorithm 4028 CMC,2023,vol.74,no.2(bGWO-GA),binary firefly algorithm(bFA),and *** results confirm the superiority and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm for solving the problem of feature selection.

Memristive effects on an improved discrete Rulkov neuron model

A change in neuronal-action potential can generate a magnetically induced current during the release and propagation of intracellular *** better characterize the electromagnetic-induction effect,this paper presents an improved discrete Rulkov(ID-Rulkov)neuron model by coupling a discrete model of a memristor with sine memductance into a discrete Rulkov neuron *** ID-Rulkov neuron model possesses infinite invariant points,and its memristor-induced stability effect is evaluated by detecting the routes of period-doubling and Neimark-Sacker *** investigated the memristor-induced dynamic effects on the neuron model using bifurcation plots and firing ***,we theoretically expounded the memristor initial-boosting mechanism of infinite coexisting *** results show that the ID-Rulkov neuron model can realize diverse neuron firing patterns and produce hyperchaotic attractors that are nondestructively boosted by the initial value of the memristor,indicating that the introduced memristor greatly benefits the original neuron *** hyperchaotic attractors initially boosted by the memristor were verified by hardware experiments based on a hardware *** addition,pseudorandom number generators are designed using the ID-Rulkov neuron model,and their high randomness is demonstrated based onstrict test results.

Faithful geometric measures for genuine tripartite entanglement

We present a faithful geometric picture for genuine tripartite entanglement of discrete, continuous, and hybrid quantum systems. We first find that the triangle relation Ei|jkα≤Ej|ikα+Ek|ijα holds for all subadditive bipartite entanglement measure E, all permutations under parties i,j,k, all α∈[0,1], and all pure tripartite states. Then, we rigorously prove that the nonobtuse triangle area, enclosed by side Eα with 0<α≤1/2, is a measure for genuine tripartite entanglement. Finally, it is significantly strengthened for qubits that given a set of subadditive and nonsubadditive measures, some state is always found to violate the triangle relation for any α>1, and the triangle area is not a measure for any α>1/2. Our results pave the way to study discrete and continuous multipartite entanglement within a unified framework.
