Deepfake detection has gained increasing research attention in media forensics, and a variety of works have been produced. However, subtle artifacts might be eliminated by compression, and the convolutional neural networks (CNNs)-based detectors are invalidated for fake face images with compression. In this work, we propose a two-stream network for deepfake detection. We observed that high-frequency noise features and spatial features are inherently complementary to each other. Thus, both spatial features and high-frequency noise features are exploited for face forgery detection. Specifically, we design a double-frequency transformer module (DFTM) to guide the learning of spatial features from local artifact regions. To effectively fuse spatial features and high-frequency noise features, a dual-domain attention fusion module (DDAFM) is designed. We also introduce a local relationship constraint loss, which requires only image-level labels, for model training. We evaluate the proposed approach on five large-scale benchmark datasets, and extensive experimental results demonstrate the proposed approach outperforms most SOTA works. © 2024 IEEE.

Feature Contrast Difference and Enhanced Network for RGB-D Indoor Scene Classification in Internet of Things

The era of smart connectivity spawned by the Internet of Things (IoT) has made the need to achieve environmental perception and understanding of different scenarios increasingly urgent. Among the many scenarios, indoor scene classification has attracted much attention because of its its relevance to the daily lives of people, ranging from comfort regulation in living spaces to the optimal allocation of resources in offices, and a variety of approaches for this task have emerged. However, increasing accuracy remains a crucial objective due to the complexity and disorder of indoor scenes. Therefore, we propose a feature contrast difference and enhanced network for RGB-D indoor scene classification, FCDENet. First, the RGB and Depth images express different information. Therefore, we built a feature contrast difference module for the first two low-level features to extend the receptive fields of the different features, utilizing differential contrast to complement each other. Second, the high-level feature semantic information is abstract. Therefore, we introduced information cluster blocks, which are used to aggregate feature points with similar attributes into compact clusters after being parsed by an initial frequency transform, enabling instantiated representations of the semantic information. Finally, to further enhance the integrated features, we introduced a wavelet transform block in the cross-layer decoding process. In contrast to conventional decoding methods, we employed a wavelet transform for initial denoising cross-layer features and used multiple pooling structures to supplement local information, gradually weighting to achieve higher prediction accuracy. Extensive experiments on two typical indoor datasets, NYUDv2 and SUN RGB-D, show that our results exhibit excellent performance. Dynamic graph-based graph attention network for anomaly detection in industrial multivariate time series data

For industrial big data, anomaly detection for multivariate time series data is of critical strategic significance. However, the complexity of industrial equipment and production processes, combined with the high dimensionality of production data, makes it challenging for traditional anomaly detection methods to effectively capture the complex interdependencies and dynamic evolutionary relationships among multiple variables. Additionally, issues such as unstable data distributions, variability, and data drift exacerbate the challenges faced by anomaly detection methods in industrial data analysis and decision-making. This study presents a dynamic graph-based graph attention network for anomaly detection in a multivariate time series data (D-GATAD) model, introducing an innovative approach to dynamic graph construction. The proposed method seamlessly integrates node content features with graph topological structure information, enabling adaptive construction of dynamic graphs based on the current sensor network structure. This design allows for precise modeling of the complex temporal dependencies between variables. Furthermore, the method incorporates an optimized prediction-based model design that organically combines embedding vectors with node data, thereby significantly enhancing the interpretability of the analytical results. Experimental evaluations demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms existing state-of-the-art models across multiple public benchmark datasets. Notably, on the highly complex WADI dataset, it achieves a 5.12% improvement in the AUC score, underscoring its robustness and effectiveness in industrial anomaly detection. This research offers an innovative and widely applicable solution for industrial data analysis and anomaly detection, with significant implications for practical deployment. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2025.

The automated design of analog circuits presents a significant challenge due to the complexity of circuit topology and parameter selection. Traditional evolutionary algorithms, such as Genetic Programming (GP), have shown potential in this domain but are often hindered by inefficient search processes and the large design space. Furthermore, fitness evaluation in the evolutionary design of circuits is often computationally very expensive. In this paper, we introduce a novel evolutionary framework that leverages approximate Shapley values to guide the optimization process in tree-based genetic programming for analog circuit design. Our approach addresses the computational challenges associated with computing Shapley values by introducing a two-stage evolutionary framework that includes a Shapley Value Library (SVlib) and a KNN-based prediction for efficient estimation of Shapley values. Our proposed work not only enhances the search efficiency by focusing on the most beneficial sub-circuits but also leads to more compact and efficient circuit designs. Furthermore, fitness evaluation in the evolutionary design of circuits is often computationally very expensive experiments, we verify that our framework accelerates evolutionary convergence and outperforms traditional methods in terms of circuit optimization. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

The pandemic creates a more complicated providence of medical assistance and diagnosis procedures. In the world, Covid-19, Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS Cov-2), and plague are widely known pandemic disease desperations. Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic tragedies, various medical diagnosis models and intelligent computing solutions are proposed for medical applications. In this era of computer-based medical environment, conventional clinical solutions are surpassed by many Machine Learning and Deep Learning-based COVID-19 diagnosis models. Anyhow, many existing models are developing lab-based diagnosis environments. Notably, the Gated Recurrent Unit-based Respiratory data Analysis (GRU-RE), Intelligent Unmanned Aerial Vehicle-based Covid data Analysis (Thermal Images) (I-UVAC), and Convolutional Neural Network-based computer Tomography Image Analysis (CNN-CT) are enriched with lightweight image data analysis techniques for obtaining mass pandemic data at real-time conditions. However, the existing models directly deal with bulk images (thermal data and respiratory data) to diagnose the symptoms of COVID-19. Against these works, the proposed spectacle thermal image data analysis model creates an easy and effective way of disease diagnosis deployment strategies. Particularly, the mass detection of disease symptoms needs a more lightweight equipment setup. In this proposed model, each patient's thermal data is collected via the spectacles of medical staff, and the data are analyzed with the help of a complex set of capsule network functions. Comparatively, the conventional capsule network functions are enriched in this proposed model using adequate sampling and data reduction solutions. In this way, the proposed model works effectively for mass thermal data diagnosis applications. Advancements in language models (LMs) have sparked interest in exploring their potential as knowledge bases (KBs) due to their high capability for storing huge amounts of factual knowledge and semantic understanding. However, existing studies face challenges in quantifying the extent of large-scale knowledge packed into LMs and lack systematic studies on LMs' structured reasoning capabilities over the infused knowledge. Addressing these gaps, our research investigates whether LMs can effectively act as large-scale KBs after training over an expansive set of world knowledge triplets via addressing the following three crucial questions: (1) How do LMs of different sizes perform at storing world knowledge of different frequencies in a large-scale KB? (2) How flexible are these LMs in recalling the stored knowledge when prompted with natural language queries? (3) After training on the abundant world knowledge, can LMs additionally gain the ability to reason over such information to infer new facts? Our findings indicate that while medium-scaled LMs hold promise as world knowledge bases capable of storing and responding with flexibility, enhancements in their reasoning capabilities are necessary to fully realize their potential. © 2025 Association for Computational Linguistics.

Complex network theory has been widely demonstrated as a powerful tool in modeling and characterizing various complex systems. In the past, complex network theory has focused on the behaviors as well as the characteristics of the network nodes and edges. However, with the continuous evolution of society, traditional graph theory faces challenges due to the emergence of extermely large network structures. Recently, complex network method based statistics has attracted much attention. The new approach effectively manages very large networks and uncovers their intrinsic properties. In this paper, we present a complex network analysis model for undirected, unweighted networks based on a statistical analysis approach. This model is inspired by the ensemble model in thermostatistical physics. Based on the established mathematical model, we derive physical measures that reflect the intrinsic properties of the network, including Entropy, Free Energy, Temperature, and so on. In the experimental part, we first explored the mathematical characterization of these metrics. Then, we observed the performance of various network categories under the same metric. Finally, we applied these measures to the field of graph classification. Human life is challenged by this main work’s ultimate goal of reducing accidents and ensuring life safety due to the enormous growth of vehicles and those based on safety. Here, cases of suspected drunk driving, reckless driving, etc., are present. In this scenario, vehicles are traveling at full speed and irresponsibly using technology on all roads. An early warning system is used to stop auto accidents. In order to accommodate the city's steadily increasing automobile population, intelligent traffic systems must be designed in a resourceful and sustainable manner using all available technology in both light and dark. The advanced ML's work on unexpected traffic flow and all road conditions resulted in significant real-time changes in the flow of traffic for every significant issue that arose. Here, the Blue Whale technology makes use of clever intelligence to quickly identify, detect, and modify warning systems. The primary objective of the study was to train CNN/BWT on the collected data sets in order to operationalize the unsupervised approach for the prediction of critical situations. Additionally, it makes an effort to clarify the situation so that guests can feel more at ease and help them decide on transfers in time-sensitive situations. IOT is a practical way to locate the nearest object using machine learning methods that are accurate and apply received data sets, resulting in significant findings that support object recognition. The paperwork fully focuses on improving driving knowledge and offering new approaches for quick object recognition. With the development of cities, racial segregation is one of the reasons for social inequality on a large scale, it is also a major factor affecting economic development. However, racial segregation has received comparatively limited attention in research. In the paper, we propose a segregation index independent of any parameters( titled Quantum Walk Convergence Time), which calculates the convergence time statistics for accessing different racial categories through quantum walks on complex networks constructed from urban systems. The magnitude of the time statistics represents the degree of racial segregation. The results generated by our method can also be applied to other social factors, including family situation, income level, and education level. We evaluate our method using large-scale real datasets, including statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau and the Office for National Statistics in the UK. The results demonstrate the close correlation between our method and the degree of racial segregation, showing advantages over traditional random walk methods. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

Current deep learning-based medical image classification methods face challenges in effectively learning correct classification boundaries when dealing with imbalanced data. Traditional data augmentation methods often suffer from insufficient diversity, leading to limited performance improvement. Based on this, this paper proposes a Boundary and Diversity-aware Generative Adversarial Network (BDGAN) for data augmentation, focusing on class boundaries and intra-class diversity. First, to enhance the diversity of generated samples, we design a multi-generator GAN architecture, where each generator learns and generates different data patterns. Second, to further generate more diverse and higher-quality samples, we introduce mutual exclusion loss and Hausdorff loss. Finally, for downstream classification tasks, we design a sampling method based on One-Class SVM (OCS), enabling the GAN to focus more on training and generating boundary samples during the training process. Experimental results on two real-world medical image datasets demonstrate that the proposed method can generate more diverse and higher-quality augmented samples, effectively improving the performance of downstream classification tasks. © 2025 IEEE.
