Due to the high degree of privacy and sensitivity, it is difficult to share distributed digital identity with multiple parties. Blockchain-based distributed digital identities could address the issues of data sharing. However, the blockchain systems contain a wide variety of heterogeneous autonomous systems, and each blockchain system performs independent identity authentication. To be specific, it is difficult to realize mutual recognition and trust in digital identity. In this survey, we introduce the technical architecture of distributed digital identity and research the technical principle and development application of cross-chain technology. In addition, we expound the research status of cross-chain technology and the cross-chain-based distributed digital identity mechanism to realize unified and trusted cross-chain identity mutual recognition. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

After adopting 5G technology, businesses and academia have started working on sixth-generation wireless networking (6G) technologies. Mobile communications options are expected to expand in areas where previous generations could not do so. 6G networks are anticipated to be constructed using various diverse technologies. These encompass diverse cutting-edge advancements, such as distributed ledger systems like blockchain, visible light communications (VLC), post-quantum cryptography, edge computing, molecular communication, THz, and other advances. These advances necessitate a reassessment of previous security strategies from a security perspective. In the future, networks must adhere to stricter criteria for authentication, encryption, access control, connectivity, and detection of harmful activities. Ensuring privacy and dependability necessitates the implementation of supplementary security protocols. The essay explores the primary concerns and challenges related to the security of the 6G network. This paper describes the improvements in security in communications from 1G through 6G. This paper divides security in the sixth generation into three layers: physical, connection, and service. Each layer-by-layer discusses the standard technologies and security issues for each technology proposed in each sixth-generation security layer. All proposed solutions for each of the three layers are discussed in Sixth Generation Security. It also reviews all proposed solutions for each layer, indicating the proposed solution and its limitations. © The Author(s) 2025.

The research of human interaction recognition based on fusion features of key frame feature library

Some issues such as computational complexity and low recognition accuracy still exist in human interaction recognition. In order to solve the problem, the paper has proposed innovative and effective method based on fixed features of key frame feature library. Firstly, GIST feature and HOG feature were extracted from the pre-processed videos. Secondly, training videos with different kinds of actions were clustered by the K-means algorithm respectively to get key frame feature of each action for constructing key frame feature library. And similarity measure was utilised to calculate the frequency of different key frames in every interactive video, and statistical histogram representation of interactive videos were obtained. Finally, the decision level fusion was achieved by using SVM classifier based on histogram intersection kernel to obtain impressive results on UT-interaction dataset. The correct recognition rate of the proposed algorithm is 85%, which indicates that the proposed algorithm is simple and effective than others. © 2021 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.

The pre-trained point cloud model based on Masked Point Modeling (MPM) has exhibited substantial improvements across various tasks. However, these models heavily rely on the Transformer, leading to quadratic complexity and limited decoder, hindering their practice application. To address this limitation, we first conduct a comprehensive analysis of existing Transformer-based MPM, emphasizing the idea that redundancy reduction is crucial for point cloud analysis. To this end, we propose a Locally constrained Compact point cloud Model (LCM) consisting of a locally constrained compact encoder and a locally constrained Mamba-based decoder. Our encoder replaces self-attention with our local aggregation layers to achieve an elegant balance between performance and efficiency. Considering the varying information density between masked and unmasked patches in the decoder inputs of MPM, we introduce a locally constrained Mamba-based decoder. This decoder ensures linear complexity while maximizing the perception of point cloud geometry information from unmasked patches with higher information density. Extensive experimental results show that our compact model significantly surpasses existing Transformer-based models in both performance and efficiency, especially our LCM-based Point-MAE model, compared to the Transformer-based model, achieved an improvement of 1.84%, 0.67%, and 0.60% in average accuracy on the three variants of ScanObjectNN while reducing parameters by 88% and computation by 73%. Mining high-quality logical rules is crucial as they can provide beneficial interpretability for predictions. Recent methods that incorporate logical rules into learning tasks have been proven to yield high-quality logical rules successfully. However, existing methods either rely on the rule instances observed to support rule mining, or simply embed the rule head and the rule body to learn from them. Additionally, they can not fully utilize the rich semantic information contained in logical rules and overlook the intrinsic correlations between all relations within the domain. In this paper, we propose a model called Correlation and order-Aware Rule Learning (CARL) that captures deeper semantic information in rules by allowing relations to be co-aware of each other and paying attention to logical sequence sensitivity. CARL utilizes semantic consistency between the rule body and rule head as its learning objective, continuously introducing more semantic information and logically simplifying the rule body while considering logical sequence sensitivity. We explored the internal correlations between domain relations and used the thought of knowledge distillation to simplify modules so that relations in CARL can share or perceive each other's information or state efficiently. Experiments on link prediction tasks have demonstrated that CARL can learn higher-quality rules and yield state-of-the-art results on four popular public datasets. https://***/burning5112/CARL © 2023 IEEE.

Sunspot group, known as active solar regions, is the main sources of solar storms. The morphological and magnetic characteristics of solar active regions play a very important role in solar storm forecasting and is well described by Mount Wilson Sunspot Classification Scheme. The development of convolutional neural network methods in the field of image processing makes efficient magnetic type classification possible. In this paper, we propose a method based on semi-supervised learning and knowledge distillation for magnetic type classification in sunspot group. On the sunspot magnetic type classification dataset, our method achieves 95.14% total classification accuracy, 97.4%, 94.43% and 85.71% F1-scores of Alpha, Beta, and Beta-x types respectively. © 2022 IEEE.

The epidemic growth of the Internet of Things (IoT) objects have revolutionized Maritime Transportation Systems (MTS). Though, it becomes challenging for the centralized cloud-centric framework to fulfil the application requirements such as low latency and power utilization. The introduction of the distributed edge-centric framework has recently helped the IoT-enabled MTS to meet these requirements by manipulating the tasks at the edge of the networks. Despite the fact that MTS leverages mobile subscribers by overcoming inherent cloud computing limitations, data security and user privacy requirements in establishing the MTS setup are still non-trivial challenges. In this article, we develop a key agreement solution for mobile users to realize mutual authentication in a single round. Our protocol offers user anonymity to maintain user privacy, and it can prevent physical attacks by physically unclonable functions. Initially, the security analysis is conferred to substantiate our protocol's security persistence or strength. Later, its performance correlation is observed under the assumption of diverse metrics in a predefined empirical setup. The meticulous performance correlation endorses the precedence of our protocol over specified related protocols. © 2000-2011 IEEE.

Gliomas hold a prominent position in neurooncology due to their high malignancy and poor survival rates. Accurately predicting the prognosis and survival risk of glioma patients is crucial for clinical treatment. Recent advances in survival prediction methods emphasize the importance of integrating complementary information from diverse modalities while neglecting the significant modality gap between pathological images and genomic data. To address this issue, we propose a modality-specific knowledge interaction network (MSKI-Net), which integrates whole slide images (WSI), RNA-Seq gene expression data, and copy number variation (CNV) data for glioma survival analysis. The MSKI-Net consists of a modality-specific feature enhancement (MSFE) module, a modality-interactive cross-attention (MICA) module, and a modality-specific knowledge-guided representation learning (MSKR) module. The three modules collaborate by complementing modality-specific features with modality-agnostic knowledge to improve the learning capability of MSKI-Net. Furthermore, we construct a dataset named TCGAmm, which combines WSI, RNA-Seq, and CNV data from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) to address the issue of data scarcity. Extensive experiments demonstrate that MSKI-Net achieves superior performance in predicting the survival risk of glioma cancer. © 2024 IEEE.

The complexity of the entire process of supply chain management (SCM) is quite cumbersome and traditional way of handling it is devoid of proper authentication and security and very often suffers from human errors in dealing with flaws in quality control process of SCM. While it may have started with shipment tracking, the outcome of using IoT on supply chains has spread to every link in the chain. For instance, manufacturers are employing Internet-enabled sensors in production to find product faults, resulting in higher-quality production runs. Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) is a defense countermeasure that exploits the exclusive, unrepeatable features of hardware components to generate distinct cryptographic keys or identifiers, typically for a semiconductor device like an Internet of Things (IoT) device. The distinctive proof of identity of IoT devices in the supply chain is employed by means of PUFs as inviolable IDs. Blockchain, the distributed, immutable ledger, on the other hand is the disruptive technology that provides higher security as compared to traditional centralized systems. The integration of PUF and blockchain proves to be quite interesting while handling the above issues of authentication. A smart contract on the blockchain is a software code that executes spontaneously as and when the conditions of the contract or agreement are satisfied. Hence after authentication process the results are fed to blockchain smart contract for the final validation. This paper presents a novel permissioned blockchain smart contract-based lightweight authentication scheme for SCM using PUF of IoT known as SPUFChain. Informal and formal security analysis (using AVISPA and BAN logic) of the proposed framework show its efficiency to resist several threat scenarios like man-in-the middle, non-repudiation, impersonation, replay attacks and many other security features as compared to other related schemes. Federated learning (FL) is an emerging paradigm using a parameter server (PS) to coordinate multiple decentralized clients for training a common model without exposing their raw data. Despite its amazing capability in preserving data privacy, FL confronts two significant challenges that have not been sufficiently addressed by existing works, which are: 1) heterogeneous data distributed on clients given that the PS cannot alter data locations. 2) limited computation resources of FL clients who may conduct model training with mobile devices. To tackle these challenges, we propose a novel federated one-shot transferring of intermediate features (FedOTF) algorithm. More specifically, FedOTF consists of two stages: feature extraction and model reconstruction. To overcome challenge 1, clients in stage 1 only collaboratively train a small model in a federated manner, with the objective to extract features. In stage 2, intermediate features (generated by the small model trained by stage 1) are transferred from clients to the PS so that a large model can be trained to overcome challenge 2. In addition, the design of FedOTF is robust, which can flexibly diminish the number of communication rounds of stage 1 when network capacity is limited, and reduce the amount of exposed features when privacy is concerned. To verify the superiority of FedOTF, we conduct comprehensive experiments with real datasets. The experiment results demonstrate that FedOTF can significantly improve the model utility of FL because a better model can be finally obtained by the PS without incurring heavy computational load on clients. Besides, we conduct robustness evaluation of FedOTF which can achieve stable performance when varying network capacity and privacy requirement. © 2023 IEEE.
