Relief algorithm is a feature selection algorithm used in binary classification proposed by Kira and Rendell, and its computational complexity remarkable increases with both the scale of samples and the number of features. In order to reduce the complexity, a quantum feature selection algorithm based on Relief algorithm, also called quantum Relief algorithm, is proposed. In the algorithm, all features of each sample are superposed by a certain quantum state through the CMP and rotation operations, then the swap test and measurement are applied on this state to get the similarity between two samples. After that, Near-hit and Near-miss are obtained by calculating the maximal similarity, and further applied to update the feature weight vector W T to get W T ′ that determine the relevant features with the threshold τ. In order to verify our algorithm, a simulation experiment based on IBM Q with a simple example is performed. Efficiency analysis shows the computational complexity of our proposed algorithm is O(M), while the complexity of the original Relief algorithm is O(NM), where N is the number of features for each sample, and M is the size of the sample set. Obviously, our quantum Relief algorithm has superior acceleration than the classical one. Copyright © 2020, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Instance Retrieval Using Region of Interest Based CNN Features

Recently, image representations derived by convolutional neural networks(CNN) have achieved promising performance for instance retrieval, and they outperformthe traditional hand-crafted image features. However, most of existing CNN-based featuresare proposed to describe the entire images, and thus they are less robust to backgroundclutter. This paper proposes a region of interest (RoI)-based deep convolutionalrepresentation for instance retrieval. It first detects the region of interests (RoIs) from animage, and then extracts a set of RoI-based CNN features from the fully-connected layerof CNN. The proposed RoI-based CNN feature describes the patterns of the detected RoIs,so that the visual matching can be implemented at image region-level to effectively identifytarget objects from cluttered backgrounds. Moreover, we test the performance of theproposed RoI-based CNN feature, when it is extracted from different convolutional layersor fully-connected layers. Also, we compare the performance of RoI-based CNN featurewith those of the state-of-the-art CNN features on two instance retrieval *** results show that the proposed RoI-based CNN feature provides superiorperformance than the state-of-the-art CNN features for in-stance retrieval.

Suppose a practical scene that when two or more parties want to schedule anappointment, they need to share their calendars with each other in order to make itpossible. According to the present result the whole communication cost to solve thisproblem should be their calendars’ length by using a classical algorithm. In this work, weinvestigate the appointment schedule issue made by N users and try to accomplish it inquantum information case. Our study shows that the total communication cost will bequadratic times smaller than the conventional case if we apply a quantum algorithm in theappointment-scheduling problem.

Multi-user detection is one of the important technical problems for moderncommunications. In the field of quantum communication, the multi-access channel onwhich we apply the technology of quantum information processing is still an openquestion. In this work, we investigate the multi-user detection problem based on thebinary coherent-state signals whose communication way is supposed to be seen as aquantum channel. A binary phase shift keying model of this multi-access channel isstudied and a novel method of quantum detection proposed according to the conclusionof the quantum measurement theory. As a result, the average interference betweendeferent users is presented and the average error probability of the quantum detection isderived theoretically. Finally, we show the maximum channel capacity of this effectivedetection for a two-access quantum channel.

So far, cloud storage has been accepted by an increasing number of people, which is not a fresh notion any more. It brings cloud users a lot of conveniences, such as the relief of local storage and location independent access. Nevertheless, the correctness and completeness as well as the privacy of outsourced data are what worry could users. As a result, most people are unwilling to store data in the cloud, in case that the sensitive information concerning something important is disclosed. Only when people feel worry-free, can they accept cloud storage more easily. Certainly, many experts have taken this problem into consideration, and tried to solve it. In this paper, we survey the solutions to the problems concerning auditing in cloud computing and give a comparison of them. The methods and performances as well as the pros and cons are discussed for the state-of-the-art auditing protocols.

An improved method for fingerprints' singular points detection based on orientation field partition

As a global feature of fingerprints, singular point plays important roles in fingerprint model, synthesis fingerprint, fingerprint classification, fingerprint alignment and so on. In our previous work, a rapid and effective fingerprint singular points detection method was proposed. That method detects singular points based on partitioning the orientation field into a serious non-overlapping homogenous areas. However, for the same orientation field, different partition schemes may lead to different singular point extraction results, especially for poor quality fingerprint images. For eliminating the uncertainty, we employ three different partition schemes simultaneously for each orientation field, and combine the three extraction results to make the final decision. Experiment proves that: this method is more accuracy than the previous one.

In the face of a large number of task requests submitted by users, the data center in the cloud need not only to finish these massive tasks but also to satisfy the user's service demand. How to dividethe resources of the system reasonably and schedule these tasks efficiently isa problem that need be solved in the cloud computing. The task scheduling of workflow is a kind of scheduling model for the most partresearched in cloud computing. The scheduling goal is alwaysdecided by user's QoS(Quality of Service)and the scheduling goal of existing scheduling algorithm is alwayssingle. Based on the price model a scheduling algorithm is proposed which can realize the multiple targets in this article, and the scheduling algorithm is Service Cost Optimizationbased on Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO-SC).PSO-SC algorithm can adapt to dynamic cloud environment, and it not only shortens the completion time of tasks but also minimizesuser's cost of task when schedule tasks. In this paper, experiment and analyze the task scheduling of workflow under the cloud computing environment, and the experimental results show that the algorithm proposed in this paper has very good scheduling performance and can reachthe goal of task scheduling of tasks. © 2016 SERSC.

Error analysis of time delay based on ultrasonic phased array structural health monitoring

Ultrasonic phased array technology becomes significant in structural health monitoring with its flexible beam deflection and strong focusing performance. The transducer is used to complete the multiple directions scanning of the structure. During the process of beam scanning, the signal exciting from each element needs to add a time delay in time domain, due to the difference to the distance from each element to the far field target point, so that the excitation signal can reach the target point and the far field at the same time. Besides, in the process of receiving and transmitting process, it also needs to add a time delay for the response signal, so that the sensor can receive the reflection signal from the preset deflection angle. Therefore, the error will be generated in the calculation of time delay. Making the anti-rust aluminum plate as the experimental object, the process of ultrasonic phased array structural health monitoring will be introduced. And then the reason of time delay error will be pointed out and analyzed. © 2018 computer Society of the Republic of China. All Rights Reserved.

Impact Damage Identification for Composite Material Based on Transmissibility Function and OS-ELM Algorithm

A method is proposed based on the transmissibility function and the OnlineSequence Extreme Learning Machine (OS-ELM) algorithm, which is applied to theimpact damage of composite materials. First of all, the transmissibility functions of theundamaged signals and the damage signals at different points are calculated. Secondly,the difference between them is taken as the damage index. Finally, principal componentanalysis (PCA) is used to reduce the noise feature. And then, input to the online sequencelimit learning neural network classification to identify damage and confirm the damagelocation. Taking the amplitude of the transmissibility function instead of the accelerationresponse as the signal analysis for structural damage identification cannot be influencedby the excitation amplitude. The OS-ELM algorithm is based on the ELM (ExtremeLearning Machine) algorithm, in-creased training speed also increases the recognitionaccuracy. Experiment in the epoxy board shows that the method can effectively identifythe structural damage accurately.

Today, as the developing of hardware of mobile is getting better, the performance index is much higher than the actual requirements of the software configuration. Phone's features more depend on software. As the Android operating system is getting more popular, the application based on Android SDK attracts much more attention. But now, some of the Android application interface is too cumbersome, pop-up ads is overmuch and the function is too single, these cause some inconvenience to the users. This article presents the application by eliminating the redundancy. Three kinds of applications are developed base on Java and Android SDK --- Weibo client, video player and audio player. The audio player uses the ContentResolver and Curor to obtain music files and plays the music by using the Service Components to call the Media Player class in the background. The video player uses the Media Player class provided by Android SDK. This class loads the file through URL, realize the multimedia file parsing by calling the Open Core Library, which is at the bottom of Android, through JNI and by calling the Surface Flinger interface to realize the video files' playback. The users' data is collected through the Sina open platform called by Sina client and the data will be returned under the format of JSON by the Sina server. The system uses the OAuth authentication method for user authorization to complete the login process. The specific functions of this system are developed based on Android Weibo SDK. The interfaces of these Android apps are pretty and the operation is smooth. What's more, the cumbersome interface and excessive advertising are eliminated, so that users are able to manipulate these apps more conveniently and smoothly. © 2014 SERSC.
