Following development of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), combinatorial testing technologies are used in SaaS testing. It is difficult to handle the exponential growth of SaaS testing workloads. This paper proposes a new integrated testing framework using Adaptive Reasoning algorithm with automated test cases generation (ARP) and Test Algebra (TA) to increase SaaS testing efficiency. ARP algorithm can rapidly identify and eliminate faulty combinations. The proposed integrated testing framework is simulated in cloud environment.

Requirements patterns have recently been gaining popularity among research communities to help users in identifying, analysing and structuring requirements of a software system. While still in their early stage of development, organizing these patterns would not only assist practitioners in accessing patterns but also provide developers with a direction to design their patterns accordingly. In this paper, an extensive study of various pattern based methods for the requirements phase is reported. Their features, content, structure, purpose, role in assisting requirements engineering activities, similarities and differences are analyzed as we subsequently classify the constituting requirements patterns based on the kind of artefact they present to the user.

We introduce the stable model semantics for fuzzy propositional formulas, which generalizes both fuzzy propositional logic and the stable model semantics of classical propositional formulas. Combining the advantages of both formalisms, the introduced language allows highly configurable default reasoning involving fuzzy truth values. We show that several properties of Boolean stable models are naturally extended to this formalism, and discuss how it is related to other approaches to combining fuzzy logic and the stable model semantics.

Since April 2014 the Artemis/ECSEL project EMC 2 is running and provides significant results. EMC 2 stands for "Embedded Multi-Core systems for Mixed Criticality Applications in Dynamic and Changeable Real-Time Environments". In this paper we report recent progress on technical work in the different workpackages and use cases.
