The latest 6G improvements secured autonomous driving's realism in Intelligent Autonomous Transport Systems(IATS).Despite the IATS's benefits,security remains a significant *** technology has grown in popularity as a means of implementing safe,dependable,and decentralised independent IATS systems,allowing for more utilisation of legacy IATS infrastructures and resources,which is especially advantageous for crowdsourcing *** technology can be used to address security concerns in the IATS and to aid in logistics *** light of the inadequacy of reliance and inattention to rights created by centralised and conventional logistics systems,this paper discusses the creation of a blockchain-based IATS powered by deep learning for secure cargo and vehicle matching(BDL-IATS).The BDL-IATS approach utilises Ethereum as the primary blockchain for storing private data such as order and shipment ***,the deep belief network(DBN)model is used to select suitable vehicles and goods for ***,the chaotic krill herd technique is used to tune the DBN model’s *** performance of the BDL-IATS technique is validated,and the findings are inspected under a variety of *** simulationfindings indicated that the BDL-IATS strategy outperformed recent state-of-the-art approaches.

Software reliability has become an increasingly important characteristic as software systems continue to be integrated into all parts of our lives. While the occurrence of failure after a period of time is within the nature of all software systems, the ability to estimate and predict failure is greatly beneficial to software development and maintenance. Hence, Software Reliability Growth Models (SRGMs) were developed to fulfill this requirement. Conventional parameter estimation methods of SRGM functions were complex and left more to be desired. Consequently, metaheuristics such as Swarm Intelligence algorithms were introduced to estimate and optimize the parameters of SRGM functions. Likewise, Swarm Intelligence algorithms were found to be exceptionally effective in estimating and optimizing the parameters of SRGM functions. This paper presents a novel approach to parameter estimation on three different SRGM functions through Harris’ Hawks Optimization (HHO). The proposed HHO design is compared against numerous different variants of Swarm Intelligence algorithms and is shown to be significantly more efficient than the majority of the compared designs. Moreover, as the proposed design is a base variant of Swarm Intelligence algorithms, various avenues of future improvements have also been presented to improve its overall prediction accuracy. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Network monitoring and measurement is an important part of realizing the network digital twin. However, it introduces the problem of high cost when obtaining the status data of physical networks. Therefore, to efficiently achieve network observability, we first introduce potential techniques and network scenarios for implementing network measurements. Then, a High-Yield Segment Routing over IPv6 based In-band Network Telemetry (HY-SRv6-INT) system is proposed in this paper. In particular, we design the HY-SRv6-INT system architecture. It consists of IPv6 switches implemented by the P4 language and a Software-Defined Networking (SDN) controller containing the HY-SRv6-INT application. Next, we experimentally demonstrate a packet-level path-associated network measurement process. In addition, the performance of the HY-SRv6-INT system is also quantitatively evaluated to verify its advantages. Given that the locations of base stations (BSs) remain fixed after installation, direct data forwarding to remote user equipment (UE) becomes challenging. Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) offer a hopeful solution as mobile relays for next generation wireless communications to realize data forwarding with the flexible and cost-effective deployment. However, the limited onboard energy of UAVs and slow progress in energy storage technology pose significant challenges to achieving energy-efficient communication. Therefore, in this article, we investigate a wireless communication network utilizing a UAV as a high-altitude relay for data forwarding, and formulate a UAV relay deployment optimization problem (URDOP) to minimize the energy consumption of data forwarding and UAV hovering by optimizing UAV deployment, including the locations and number of UAV hover points. Given that the URDOP is a mixed-integer programming problem, conventional gradient-based approaches face limitations. To address this, we propose a self-adaptive differential evolution with a variable population size (SaDEVPS) algorithm to solve the URDOP. The performance of proposed SaDEVPS is verified through simulations, and the results show that it can successfully decrease the energy consumption of system when compared to other benchmark algorithms. © 2024 IEEE.

Traditional recommendation algorithms often face challenges such as data sparsity and a lack of diversity in recommendation results. To address these issues, this paper proposes a novel recommendation algorithm that integrates graph neural networks (GNN) and topic modeling. Initially, a topic model is employed to determine the topic distribution of sentences in reviews, connecting sentences with the same topic. Additionally, a gating unit is introduced to regulate the information flow between the layers of the GNN. To capture the internal and external causes of sentiment changes more effectively, differences in character information are considered in the edge types. This approach enriches both the user interest model and the product feature model based on sentiment density. In the experimental performance on the Douban movie review dataset, the precision, recall and F-measure of the new algorithm are 91.25%, 89.27% and 89.74%, respectively. © 2024 IEEE.

People with color vision deficiency often face challenges in distinguishing colors such as red and green, which can complicate daily tasks and require the use of assistive tools or environmental adjustments. Current support tools mainly focus on presentation-based aids, like the color vision modes found in iPhone accessibility settings. However, offering context-aware support, like indicating the doneness of meat, remains a challenge since task-specific solutions are not cost-effective for all possible scenarios. To address this, our paper proposes an application that provides contextual and autonomous assistance. This application is mainly composed of: (i) an augmented reality interface that efficiently captures context;and (ii) a multi-modal large language model-based reasoner that serves to cognitize the context and then reason about the appropriate support contents. Preliminary user experiments with two color vision deficient users across five different scenarios have demonstrated the effectiveness and universality of our application. © 2024 IEEE.

Many existing anomaly detection methods assume the availability of a large-scale normal dataset. But for many applications, limited by resources, removing all anomalous samples from a large unlabeled dataset is unrealistic, resulting in contaminated datasets. To detect anomalies accurately under such scenarios, from the probabilistic perspective, the key question becomes how to learn the normal-data distribution from a contaminated dataset. To this end, we propose to collect two additional small datasets that are comprised of partially-observed normal and anomaly samples, and then use them to help learn the distribution under an adversarial learning scheme. We prove that under some mild conditions, the proposed method is able to learn the correct normal-data distribution. Then, we consider the overfitting issue caused by the small size of the two additional datasets, and a correctness-guaranteed flipping mechanism is further developed to alleviate it. Theoretical results under incomplete observed anomaly types are also presented. Extensive experimental results demonstrate that our method outperforms representative baselines when detecting anomalies under contaminated datasets. Copyright 2024 by the author(s)

Mobile devices and applications provide increased accessibility to things like Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Ideally, one would be able to seek out a diagnosis to the tongue using advanced machine learning models in a mobile device. However, such kind of models are still not yet available for the public. In this research, we investigated a way of combining machine learning with a mobile application to support tongue diagnosis for the public. For tongue segmentation, we experimented with an unsupervised approach (K-means), a supervised method and a deep learning model. There are two outcomes presented in this research. Firstly, the user can seamlessly take a picture from a mobile phone and send it over to the server for a segmentation process. Secondly, the image processed by the server would have at least some levels of autonomous analysis preformed on it with acceptable results using machine learning methods. Our current results indicate that we were able to finish some key steps in this process. © 2023 IEEE.

SQL injection is a significant and persistent threat to web services. Most existing protections against SQL injections rely on traffic-level anomaly detection, which often results in high false-positive rates and can be easily bypassed by attackers. This paper introduces SQLStateGuard, the world's first middleware-driven statement-level SQL injection defense approach, to address these issues. The SQLStateGuard uses a custom SQL middleware based on the idea of Runtime Application Self-Protection to capture raw SQL statements. These statements are then analyzed by SQLSG-Net, a database-oriented detection network based on gated linear units. If SQLSG-Net detects malicious SQL statements, the SQL middleware will block them. Experiments show that the detection accuracy of SQLStateGuard exceeds 99%, outperforming existing approaches, and it can identify the type of a specific SQL injection. Additionally, SQLStateGuard has no fingerprint and does not respond to SQL syntax errors, making it more challenging for attackers to gather information. This paper also presents a novel dataset generation process for SQLStateGuard and shares two statement-level SQL injection datasets with the research community, including over 145,000 malicious SQL statements categorized by the type of SQL injection. © 2024 ACM.
