Resonant beam communications (RBCom), which adopts oscillating photons between two separate retroreflectors for information transmission, exhibits potential advantages over other types of wireless optical communications (WOC). However, echo interference generated by the modulated beam reflected from the receiver affects the transmission of the desired information. To tackle this challenge, a synchronization-based point-to-point RBCom system is proposed to eliminate the echo interference, and the design for the transmitter and receiver is discussed. Subsequently,the performance of the proposed RBCom is evaluated and compared with that of visible light communications(VLC)and free space optical communications (FOC). Finally, future research directions are outlined and several implementation challenges of RBCom systems are highlighted.

We develop algorithms for online linear regression which achieve optimal static and dynamic regret guarantees even in the complete absence of prior knowledge. We present a novel analysis showing that a discounted variant of the Vovk-Azoury-Warmuth forecaster achieves dynamic regret of the form RT(u) ≤ O (d log(T ) ∨ √dPγT (u)T ), where PγT (u) is a measure of variability of the comparator sequence, and show that the discount factor achieving this result can be learned on-the-fly. We show that this result is optimal by providing a matching lower bound. We also extend our results to strongly-adaptive guarantees which hold over every sub-interval [a, b] ⊆ [1, T ] simultaneously. The enhanced carrier flow at the interface between Au and SnO_(2)semiconductors,which initially form Schottky contacts,is realized using chloride-based combustion ***-based combustion sys-tems can achieve chlorine(Cl)doping effects as well as conversion to crystalline SnO_(2)films at clearly lower temperatures(∼250℃)than conventional *** to the Cl doping effect,the high carrier concentration can induce thin potential barriers at the metal/semiconductor(MS)junctions,resulting in carrier injection by *** a result,compared to conventional SnO_(2)thin-film transistors,the de-vices fabricated by combustion synthesis exhibit significantly improved electrical performance with field-effect mobility of 6.52 cm 2/Vs(∼13 times),subthreshold swing of 0.74 V/dec,and on/offratio of∼10^(7)below 300℃.Furthermore,because of the enhanced tunneling carriers induced by the narrowed barrier width,the Schottky barriers are significantly reduced from 0.83 to 0.29 eV(65%decrease)at 250℃and from 0.42 to 0.17 eV(60%decrease)at 400℃.Therefore,chloride-based combustion synthesis can con-tribute to developing SnO_(2)-based electronics and flexible devices by achieving both high-quality oxide films and improved current flow at the MS interface with low-temperature annealing.

In India, a country known for its linguistic diversity, code mixing is a common practice, and it has a profound impact on the way people communicate through various mediums, including social media platforms and everyday conversations. The prevalence of code-mixing in social media platforms presents a substantial hurdle for machine translation and language processing tasks. The abundance of unstructured text in code-mixed form on these platforms highlights a crucial research domain within NLP. The blending of Hindi and English, known as Hinglish, and other mixed case text like Malayalam-English, Tamil-English, Telugu-English are particularly prevalent among the younger generation while communication in social media and requires appropriate processing to aid comprehension by both monolingual users and language processing models. Manual translation of this type of data proves to be laborious due to challenges like limited vocabulary, potential misunderstandings of context, grammatical errors, biases, and various other issues. Additionally, existing translation models tend to perform more effectively on monolingual language rather than code-mixed data. Therefore, it is more desirable to build models that can translate code-mixed data. This study tries to convert code-mixed Hinglish, Malayalam-English, Tamil-English, Telugu-English language in Romanised script to monolingual English which can further be given as input to NLP applications like Sentiment Analysis. This is achieved by finetuning pretrained models like IndicLID for Language Identification (LID) module and use an ensemble approach for transliteration + translation using Indictrans and IndicXlit for code mixed machine translation which will be given as input to classification algorithm which performs Sentiment Analysis and predict the sentiment.
