Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) has recently become an important standard to support time-sensitive reliable low-latency data transmission in industrial and real-time applications. This work explores the use of different traffic shaping algorithms, namely, credit-based shaping (CBS) and time-aware shaping (TAS) alongside frame preemption—a TSN instance which gives precedence to high-importance frames by means of lower-priority traffic interruption—to extend TSN’s traffic management capabilities. By controlling data flow and allowing for high priority packets to pass through unimpeded, traffic shaping algorithms serve an essential function in making the network more efficient and reducing congestion rates. The work compares these algorithms in isolation and also in combination over a network model, comprising of four switches and three end users for each switch, using the OMNeT++ simulation environment. This study aims to contribute insights into optimal shaping techniques for TSN, enhancing its suitability for critical network applications. © 2025 IEEE.

Monitoring of environmental parameters in areas with a sparsely populated and less infrastructure is quite challenging due to issues such as high power consumption, limited range for transmission, and lack of scalability. The innovation of the system proposed here deals with these problems using an IoT-based monitoring system, using LoRa technology and NodeMCU microcontrollers. It can collect and transmit real-time data on temperature, humidity, air quality, and sound levels efficiently. Key outcomes of this research work are reliable range communication up to 2 km under line-of-sight conditions, minimal power consumption, and robust data integrity through sensor calibration and error-checking mechanisms. The solution, which is scalable and low-cost, is proven feasible in real-world applications, particularly in remote and underserved areas, and promises a great future enhancement, including range extension and energy harvesting. © 2025 IEEE.

OTT platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Prime have been in the market for more than a decade. They have come to full-fledged usage especially during the lockdown. The main reason for their magnanimous success is ease of use and feasibility to access unlimited content anywhere and anytime with basic Internet connection. The features in OTT have made accessing the content and viewing the content easy and delightful for the users. However, the "sharing account" option enabled for a single user to access the content from multiple devices is instead being used to share one account among multiple users, negatively affecting the business of OTT creators. In this paper, the focus is to build an OTT platform that proves advantageous to both users and providers. Besides the prevailing features that are found across platforms, including sign-in and sign-up functionalities, categorized content selection, and payment options, the proposed system enables automatic sign-out when the non-primary device strays beyond range from the primary device, content uploading, and more. Furthermore, there is a proposal to implement a GPS technology-based mechanism aimed at preventing users from sharing their accounts with others. The proposed approach conceptually and experimentally proves to be beneficial to the OTT platforms from a business perspective. The scheme is able to prevent users from sharing the account beyond a geographical limit, thus improving the profit. At the same time, these stringent requirements are developed in such a way that a balance is made between user experience, ease of use experience along with improved security measures. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Individuals who are blind or have reduced vision often struggle to navigate their environments, as traditional tools like canes offer limited information. While smart glasses have the potential to assist, existing models face challenges such as being heavy, uncomfortable, expensive, and lacking effective features for real-time navigation. These limitations hinder usability and diminish the overall user experience. This work presents a cost-effective prototype of lightweight and ergonomic smart glasses designed to enhance navigation and safety for individuals with visual impairments. By integrating obstacle detection sensors, real-time feedback mechanisms, and a user-centric design, the proposed solution aims to promote mobility, independence, and comfort while remaining accessible to a wider user base. © 2025 IEEE.

Underwater environments present unique challenges for image analysis due to light attenuation, scattering, and color distortion, which significantly degrade image quality. These facts make simple operations such as image captioning, which is crucial in marine sciences, search, and conservation, challenging. Current datasets such as Flickr8K contain mostly terrestrial images and do not possess features distinctive to underwater environments therefore direct training of models is not possible in this context. To cover this gap, the current work combines a Transformer-based image captioning model with an enhanced underwater-specific image augmentation set. These augmentations mimic real-life underwater consequences such as RGB attenuation, Gaussian blur, muddy particles, noise, and gradient-based illumination distortions. The implemented model, learned and recursively tuned on the Flickr8k dataset, proves the ability to generate reasonable captions for underwater images even though the dataset belongs to Flickr8k providing a terrestrial environment. This is proven by the enhanced BLEU scores as well as from the results of the experiment which trained the translation model in less than ten percent of the dataset to show its flexibility on underwater scenarios but without necessitating the use of an underwater dataset. © 2025 IEEE.

This research is interested in the design of an autonomous plant care system for optimal growth and it controls the supply of water and lighting in real time. Its application is, of course, best suited to indoor plants or greenhouses as sensors monitor both soil moisture and temperature and light intensity. Thus, all these current developed methods including drip irrigation systems, self-watering pots, grow lights with timingers, IoT-based plant monitors, and greenhouse climate controllers are only partially achieved and are done with the direct intervention of a human. So, the objective of the research is to design an automated system with integration of sensors and a controller from Arduino such that the plants continue growing healthy without the physical presence of the user due to its low maintenance. The question of human intervention in existing plant systems is considered in this research by designing an efficient, low-maintenance, and cost-effective solution for multiple plants with a focus on a solar-powered Arduino-based controller which uses the data received from incorporated soil moisture and light intensity sensors to guarantee plant growth without further human interference. © 2025 IEEE.

The Darknet is an anonymous, encrypted collection of websites, with a passive listening nature - accepting incoming packets, while not supporting outgoing packets. Thus, it can potentially host criminal or malicious activity and software, becoming a cyber security threat. Network Detection Systems are effective in identifying dark net traffic and mitigating its ill effects. However, capturing and extracting data from raw network traffic for training these systems can be time-intensive and costly. Using the CIC-Darknet 2020 dataset, this paper proposes using a Novel Generative Adversarial Networks (GAN) Architecture generating the required training and testing data for these systems. This uses a combination of Growing Cosine Unit (GCU) activated convolution layers and Dense layers for the Generator. Feature selection with statistical correlation methods is used to select the most relevant features. An independently trained Evaluator network is used to evaluate the generated data. The proposed system is compared to other established Tabular data GANs like Conditional Tabular GAN (CTGAN) and Copula GAN with similar parameters and on the same data. The Proposed GAN architecture outperforms CTGAN and CopulaGAN by 20 % and 10 % in ters of accuracy while also taking 90 % and 30 % less time to train respectively. Results from measuring similarity of data using the Inverted Kolmogorov - Smirnov D statistic also show significantly better results for the Proposed GAN Architecture. This shows significant promise in using Generative models to reduce the time and effort costs associated with collecting and formatting data to use in research and for training detection systems. © 2024

This research aims at developing Arduino solutions to improve the security of wireless communication systems for this work and to present a broad intervention plan for achieving this aim. Incorporating the features of Arduino microcontrollers the system has the potential of mitigating some of the weak wireless communications paradigms. The methodology consists in applying the use of such measures as the encryption algorithms and authentication and the use of secure data transmission protocols. The approach, proposed, not only enhances the security of wireless communication but also is cost effective and easy to install. In this respect, it is hoped that the outcomes of the project will offer effective and efficient solutions for implementing quality security elements for wireless transmission with practical and experimental *** purpose of this work is to generate and transmit the text message through a wireless communication system in a secured way. This facility prevails in the mobile network for which the user pays for it, whereas the system designed here can be used as personal communication system and information can be transmitted at free of *** result of the work is expected to be a secure information transmission with wireless technology implemented and encrypt the data that need to be transmitted without letting interception of a third party and reach the destination, convert and decrypt the message into readable *** work more particularly targets at reducing some of the risks associated with present wireless communication systems through use of effective encryption and authentication. The results are expected to include a major decrease in the interception risks, as well as the effective and safe text message transmission with real-world evidence as proof. © 2025 IEEE.

This paper presents a file storage and sharing system implemented using IPFS Pinata, *** and Hardhat which offer decentralized, effective, and secure access to digital assets. This system also enables the ability to upload files to the IPFS network for distributed storage and the ability to share them with peers . It also implements a time based access control system using smart contracts to easily control access to the files uploaded. This innovation improves security and facilitates timely exchange of information while also eradicating the necessity of having to manage access. This is due to the versatility of blockchain’s unalterable nature together with IPFS distributed file-sharing system which provides a secure file-sharing method while keeping costs low and helps maintain adaptability. © 2025 IEEE.

The proposed work offers the production of an Arduino controlled Fire-RoboCar equipped with a water ball launcher. In a world dominated by human-machine interaction in industry, the efficiency of any task to be done is promoted by this proposed work and delivers solutions to needs like fighting fires through the provision of a productive method. At a time when increased pollution and the expense of fossil fuel are becoming very high, this alternative is environment-friendly. The Fire-RoboCar is a moving robot that can accomplish fire extinguishing tasking in an industrial complex, proving that the system may easily transport water to desired locations. This proposed work advances robotic vehicles’ capabilities and provides innovative solutions to modern industrial challenges. © 2025 IEEE.
