Mobile prices play a pivotal role in determining their popularity amongst consumers and their competitive standing within the market. As customers consider their budget while evaluating a mobile phone's specifications and design, estimating the price beforehand becomes essential to cater to their needs and expectations. Hence, accurately forecasting mobile phone prices is a vital step in the product launch process to remain competitive and assess the market dynamics and competitors. The primary aim of this research is to determine the true market value of mobile phones. In this research, the dataset was extracted by means of utilizing a web scraping process from the flipkart website. The main objective of this research is to fetch the most recent dataset based on the most recent features. The extracted dataset is fitted into regression models such as linear regression, decision tree regressor, random forest regressor, KNN regressor, and gradient boosting regressor and performs the comparative analysis. The models are evaluated based on the mean absolute error metric. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper introduces Robotic Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (rCBT) as a novel approach to overcoming the limitations of traditional Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in treating emotional and psychological issues. After a brief overview of CBT and its inherent challenges, this paper explores the innovative application of physical robots in therapy, building on the success of technology-based CBT methods that have effectively treated various mental health conditions. The proposed rCBT solution is a compact, portable, and cost-effective 3D-printed robot designed to aid individuals with anxiety or depression. This robot includes interactive features such as a diary, health questionnaires, daily mood monitoring, to-do lists, mindfulness exercises, and a crisis helpline, enabling users to track their emotional states and activities. These functions support healthcare professionals and users in identifying emotional patterns and triggers. The robot can monitor physiological signals like heart rate. This research aims to enhance the accessibility and effectiveness of CBT, suggesting that rCBT could significantly broaden the therapy’s reach and improve mental health outcomes for a larger population. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

People frequently exposed to health information on social media tend to overestimate their symptoms during online self-diagnosis due to availability bias. This may lead to incorrect self-medication and place additional burdens on healthcare providers to correct patients' misconceptions. In this work, we conducted two mixed-method studies to identify design goals for mitigating availability bias in online self-diagnosis. We investigated factors that distort self-assessment of symptoms after exposure to social media. We found that availability bias is pronounced when social media content resonated with individuals, making them disregard their own evidences. To address this, we developed and evaluated three chatbot-based symptom checkers designed to foster evidence-based self-reflection for bias mitigation given their potential to encourage thoughtful responses. Results showed that chatbot-based symptom checkers with cognitive intervention strategies mitigated the impact of availability bias in online self-diagnosis. © 2025 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Revolutionizing lemon grading: an automated CNN-based approach for enhanced quality assessment

Lemons, renowned for their versatile applications in the culinary world and various industries, have become a staple commodity worldwide. The demand for high-quality lemons continues to soar, underscoring the need for reliable and efficient grading methods. Traditional lemon grading, which is largely reliant on human expertise, often falls prey to subjectivity, human errors, and time-consuming processes. In this paper, we propose a CNN-based lemon grading model to automate and improve the accuracy of lemon quality assessment. The proposed model utilizes CNNs in a modular and sequential fashion for extracting pertinent features from lemon images and categorizing them into distinct quality grades. A comprehensive dataset of lemon images with corresponding quality labels is used to train and validate the model. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the CNN-based approach in accurately grading lemons, offering a promising solution for enhancing efficiency and objectivity in the lemon grading process. © Bharati Vidyapeeth's institute of Computer Applications and Management 2024.

Among the plethora of IoT(Internet of Things)applications,the smart home is one of the ***,the rapid development of the smart home has also made smart home systems a target for ***,researchers have made many efforts to investigate and enhance the security of smart home *** a more secure smart home ecosystem,we present a detailed literature review on the security of smart home ***,we categorize smart home systems’security issues into the platform,device,and communication *** exploring the research and specific issues in each of these security areas,we summarize the root causes of the security flaws in today's smart home systems,which include the heterogeneity of internal components of the systems,vendors'customization,the lack of clear responsibility boundaries and the absence of standard security ***,to better understand the security of smart home systems and potentially provide better protection for smart home systems,we propose research directions,including automated vulnerability mining,vigorous security checking,and data-driven security analysis.

The prevalence of DR is steadily rising, which necessitates the automatic disease severity extraction and classification. About 2% of those with this illness are entirely blind because of the diabetic mellitus problem and 10% get vision impairment after 15 years of diabetes as a result of the DR complication. It is also a significant contributor to blindness in both middle aged and older age groups. The patient may develop to severe stages of irreversible blindness if the condition is not detected early. The growing number of diabetic patients face a major issue due to a lack of ophthalmologists. It is suggested that an automated DR screening system be created to aid the ophthalmologist in making decisions. One of the primary symptoms of the DR is hard exudates. The detection of hard exudates is crucial for screening purposes and aids in disease monitoring and diagnosis. Thus, utilising Lloyd's clustering technique, this work offered a unique techniques to segment the exudates and irregularities in DR were found. © 2023 IEEE.

The goal of this project is to develop a virtual reality program on the Oculus Quest 2 to showcase and educate users on native wildflowers that can be found in North America, specifically in the United States. We have created a virtual environment with framed images of some of America's native flowers and, using interactive menus, we provide educational information on each plant. In addition to the 2D images, a 360-image viewer was implemented to show some of the native habitats of these plants to create a more immersive learning experience. Using the Oculus Quest's experimental hand tracking feature, users can switch between using the Oculus controller and using their actual hands as the controller, allowing the users to choose how they interact with the virtual environment. The United States is home to many beautiful native flowers and by showcasing them in virtual reality anyone can experience these flowers and learn about them. © 2022 IEEE.

Because of the increasing emphasis put on the aviation industry in as a main industry of the global transportation industry, a number of organizations depend on different flight companies to get in touch with parts of the world which may be an effective measure to control the disease from spreading to other areas of the world. However, severe conditions can actually influence airline services in a given area of operation most significantly, flight delays. In this case, service encounters took place between the airline as a large organizational sector and the individual traveling as customers. The working for this issue is to accurately expect such flight delays though enables enhanced performers while in travel in order to be fit for destinations. Disability which will be occasioned by the existence of the aforementioned impediment. Quantum machine learning is used to examine the measures that were used in building models to analyze probability of flights. Problems associated with late and early arrival and;Delays due to unfavorable weather conditions. In the initial the process of project management, in which at the planned stage of the work, we study the feasibility of integration of Support Vector Machine with Python-based linear Regression. © 2024 IEEE.

This project proposes a simple and smart question answering system using Named Entity Recognition (NER) and Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) for communication purposes. Communication is a major factor that eases our day-to-day work. In this smart Question answering system, the system will create a customized dataset for the user based on the answers given by the user. Using NER, only the selective answers are taken, i.e., the most important answers, and then updated in the dataset. Based on that dataset, if a person then asks the system a question, the system will use BERT and CDQA (closed domain question answering) to fetch the best answer for the question asked. The resulting system will be an interactive one. © 2022 IEEE.
