Moving cloud shadows in the region where a large-scale PV power plant is located will cause the DC voltage output of some PV arrays to be perturbed, and the inter-harmonic component will be output to the grid, which will lead to sub-synchronous oscillations of PV power generation systems that are normally operated at the same grid. In this paper, firstly, the output characteristics of PV arrays under moving cloud shadows are investigated, and the generation mechanism of inter-harmonics in PV power generation system is analyzed through the small-signal perturbation model, which elucidates the reasons for the occurrence of sub-synchronous oscillations in PV power generation system triggered by the inter-harmonics;secondly, the influence of the change of the sub-synchronous oscillation frequency on the resonance suppression strategy is explored, and a sub-synchronous oscillation suppression strategy based on the proportional resonance control is designed for suppression of Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed suppression strategy is verified by simulation. © Beijing Paike Culture Commu. To solve the vehicle scheduling problem in cold chain logistics and distribution, we optimize the freshness function in the model for calculating cargo loss costs. We construct a low-carbon model for an open-loop cold chain logistics network, considering both delivery demand and transshipment modes. Our objective is to minimize the sum of fixed costs, fuel costs, cargo loss costs, and carbon emission costs. We propose an improved hybrid algorithm to solve the model efficiently. This algorithm utilizes a new two-layer coding and decoding method to simultaneously allocate cargo and optimize routes. The algorithm updates the optimal solution using either the northern eagle algorithm or the honey badger algorithm. The selection probability of the algorithm is updated using roulette based on their solutions, to increase diversity in the population. Additionally, we incorporate a variable neighborhood operator to enhance local search capabilities. We validate the feasibility of the proposed model and optimization algorithm through real-case studies. © 2024 ACM.

Extremely high current/voltage stresses challenge power electronics. This paper proposes a novel series of power converters, collectively referred to as Fractal (F) converters. F converters consist of several identical layers, which further comprise many identical cells or submodules. Salient benefits of F converters include but not limited to 1) modularity and scalability;2) boundless current and voltage ratings;3) high power quality;4) unified control applied to various layers;5) high reliability;6) control flexibility, e.g., for efficiency optimization. F converters will quickly find their applications in 1) high-voltage dc/ac transmissions;2) renewable energy generation;3) power quality enhancement equipment;4) electric vehicles;5) marine and aircraft propulsion;6) medical applications such as noninvasive magnetic stimulators;7) high-frequency high-power power supplies;8) plasma applications;9) future distributed power grids. For validations, simulation results are presented, demonstrating that F converters operate well as high-voltage and high-current inverters as well as arbitrary pulse generators. © 2024 IEEE.

Aiming at the problem of poor robustness of the driving model and divergence of the filtering process due to time-varying or abrupt-varying noise of the driving model during simultaneous localization and mapping of mobile robots, this paper proposes a strong tracking cubature kalman based SLAM algorithm using Variational Bayes, which uses the variational bayes algorithm to iteratively estimate the prediction covariance of the cubature kalman filter. Then the strong tracking cubature kalman algorithm is used to filter and fuse the observation data and the driving model, and the optimized pose data is obtained to further construct a more accurate feature map. Finally, the effectiveness of the algorithm is illustrated by simulation and practical experiments using a mobile robot equipped with lidar sensors. The simulation results represent that the simultaneous localization and mapping errors of this algorithm are reduced by 58.43% compared with the traditional CKF algorithm. The experimental results in real environment show that the average error of acquiring environmental features is reduced by 44.46%, which further verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. This algorithm provides a new idea for simultaneous localization and mapping of mobile robots. © 2023 ACM.

Cross-domain object detection poses significant challenges due to the susceptibility of object detection models to data variance, particularly the domain shifts that can occur between different domains. To address the limitation, we draw inspiration from knowledge distillation, proposing a collaborative learning framework. Our method employs CycleGAN to generate target-style images, and during pretraining, an unsupervised domain adaptation teacher model is trained for each source-target pair. In the distillation process, our proposed algorithm implements an out-of-distribution estimation strategy to select samples that best align with the current model, thereby enhancing the cross-domain distillation process. Furthermore, each expert model is encouraged to collaborate by designating the student model as a bridge between different target domains, facilitated by the Exponential Moving Average (EMA) algorithm. Experiments show that the proposed method leverages structured information, not only does it perform well across various target domains, but it also yields favorable results compared to state-of-the-art unsupervised methods that are specifically trained on single source-target pair. © 2024 IEEE.

Remote sensing (RS) images are frequently observed from multiviews. In this paper, we propose the tensor canonical correlation analysis network (TCCANet) to tackle the multiview RS recognition problem. Particularly, TCCANet learns filter banks by simultaneously maximizing arbitrary number of views with high-order-correlation and solves the optimization problem by decomposing a covariance tensor. After the convolutional stage, we utilize binarization and block-wise histogram strategies to generate the final feature. Furthermore, we also develop a Multiple Scale version of TCCANet, i.e., MS-TCCANet, to extract enriched representation of the RS data by incorporating all previous convolutional layers. Numerical experiment results on RSSCN7 and SAT-6 datasets demonstrate the advantages of TCCANet and MS-TCCANet for RS scene recognition. © 2023 IEEE.

In view of the difficulties brought by the wide application of frequency converters in current engineering practice to the motor design and simulation calculation, the permanent magnet synchronous motor was modeled and simulated by the method of field-road coupling. In this paper, the loss classification and calculation of permanent magnet synchronous motors, the calculation method of temperature rise and its application are summarized. Then, focusing on the principle and coupling relationship of field-road coupling, the advantages compared with other control methods, taking a 1.8 kW surface-mount permanent magnet synchronous motor as a classic and necessary example, finite element simulation, open-loop field-road coupling simulation, and id = 0 double closed-loop vector control field-road coupling simulation are established, and the field-road coupling is more suitable for the actual operation of the motor through the above simulation comparison experiments, and the open-loop control loss is four to six times higher than that of closed-loop control and finite element simulation. Finally, the development trend of this method in the future is summarized and prospected, which can play a reference role for the research of permanent magnet synchronous motors under the premise of different load. © Beijing Paike Culture Commu. This paper proposes a novel multi-DOF spherical actuator based on transverse flux and three-DOF decoupling mechanism. Firstly, the structure and working principle of the new multi-DOF spherical actuator are presented. Then, numerical simulations are performed to analyze its magnetic field and torque, resulting in the basic performance curve of the spherical motor. Finally, The structure of this spherical actuator is optimized by numerical simulation. The optimization results show that the performance of the optimized spherical actuator has been effectively improved in terms of torque ripple, output torque and control precision. © 2023 IEEE.

Multi-phase CT scanning has been proven to be a powerful imaging modality for colorectal imaging, commonly used for the diagnosis and evaluation of rectal cancer and plays a crucial role in preoperative localization, metastasis assessment, and postoperative follow-up of rectal cancer. However, multiphase CT images are acquired sequentially after contrast agent injection, resulting in significant local deformations between the images due to respiratory and cardiac motion. And the current common registration methods hinder the effective implementation of computer-aided diagnosis using fused multi-phase CT data. In this paper, we present a dual-phase CT scan registration method to establish anatomical correspondence between multi-phase CT images, thereby enhancing the potential for conducting relevant research on rectal cancer diagnosis through the fusion of multiphase CT data. Specifically, we assess the feasibility of utilizing contextual-dropout and paired-item combination training in dual generative adversarial networks to improve the authenticity of the synthesized results obtained from the dual-phase CT scan synthesis approach. We validated our method using a set of dual-phase CT scan data comprising 107 patients with rectal cancer. The experimental results demonstrated that the proposed approach effectively reduces the gap between synthesized and real dual-phase CT scans. This not only achieves accurate registration of dual-phase CT scan data in an alternative data synthesis manner but also enhances the potential of utilizing fused data from multi-phase CT for downstream computer-aided diagnostic tasks. © 2024 IEEE.
