Fuzzy cognitive maps(FCM) have been used as a recognized and powerful knowledge modelling tool for time series modelling and *** method performs well in single-step forecasting or short-term forecasting,but does not perform well in the field of long-term forecasting due to the complex interrelationships that may exist between the different subsequent *** paper proposes an FCM-based long-term time series forecasting model that combines time series granulation,fuzzy C-mean clustering,ensemble learning,and ***,time series are granulated into suitable segments and are isometric,and then these isometric segments are transformed into fuzzy time series and clustering centres using fuzzy C-mean *** BAFCM model is built by combining the Bagging method of ensemble learning and *** of the fuzzy time series are selected randomly using Bootstrap,and then a separate FCM-based learner is used for each subsequence,and each FCM-based learner is learned quickly and robustly based on a convex optimisation *** output of multiple base learners is then combined using a weighted average method to obtain the predicted output of the fuzzy time series,which is finally extrapolated together with the clustering centres to achieve long-term prediction of the time *** demonstrate the performance of our method in long-term prediction,we tested it on synthetic and real-life time series and compared it with other representative prediction *** experiments demonstrate the superiority of our method in the long-term prediction of time series.

Neighborhood Combination Search for Single-Machine Scheduling with Sequence-Dependent Setup Time

In a local search algorithm,one of its most important features is the definition of its neighborhood which is crucial to the algorithm's *** this paper,we present an analysis of neighborhood combination search for solv-ing the single-machine scheduling problem with sequence-dependent setup time with the objective of minimizing total weighted tardiness(SMSWT).First,We propose a new neighborhood structure named Block Swap(B1)which can be con-sidered as an extension of the previously widely used Block Move(B2)neighborhood,and a fast incremental evaluation technique to enhance its evaluation ***,based on the Block Swap and Block Move neighborhoods,we present two kinds of neighborhood structures:neighborhood union(denoted by B1UB2)and token-ring search(denoted by B1→B2),both of which are combinations of B1 and ***,we incorporate the neighborhood union and token-ring search into two representative metaheuristic algorithms:the Iterated Local Search Algorithm(ILSnew)and the Hybrid Evolutionary Algorithm(HEA_(new))to investigate the performance of the neighborhood union and token-ring ***-sive experiments show the competitiveness of the token-ring search combination mechanism of the two *** on the 120 public benchmark instances,our HEA_(new)has a highly competitive performance in solution quality and computational time compared with both the exact algorithms and recent *** have also tested the HEA,new algorithm with the selected neighborhood combination search to deal with the 64 public benchmark instances of the single-machine scheduling problem with sequence-dependent setup *** is able to match the optimal or the best known results for all the 64 *** particular,the computational time for reaching the best well-known results for five chal-lenging instances is reduced by at least 61.25%.

Wave refrigerating technology is a new type of refrigerating technology that performs more efficiently and is more environmentally friendly. Nowadays, the commonly used control method is the PID control method. However, although the above control methods are simple in structure, they have the problems of difficult parameter tuning, large overshoot, and unstable and inaccurate output response. Therefore, to improve the above problems, we propose a framework of deep reinforcement learning-based wave refrigerating control system. An improved SAC algorithm is used to learn the control system. The evaluation method is established according to the working condition requirements as well as the safety requirements in the operation process. Experiments show that this method can effectively improve the control efficiency as well as the control quality, which can make the control system operate stably. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Aiming at the surge and rotating stall of the aero-engine compressor, this paper is concerned with the design scheme of backstepping sliding mode control. First, in order to solve the adverse effects of surge or rotating stall, a compressor model with steady air injection as the actuator is established. Next, based on the basic principles of backstepping control and sliding mode control, the control system is designed according to Lyapunov stability, and appropriate control parameters are selected to make the designed control system asymptotically stable. In the end, an active stability controller of backstepping sliding mode algorithm is designed. Finally, it is verified by simulation. The simulation results show that the designed controller can effectively suppress the unstable disturbance of the compressor in the initial state, and has faster response time and stronger robustness to external disturbances than other algorithms. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

For the demand of automatic guided vehicles in transporting large and complex parts, a cooperative control method based on Leader-Follower control strategy is proposed for the differential AGV platform. Firstly, the kinematic model of differential AGV and the formation positional error model of AGV are established;then a dual differential AGV cooperative control method based on Leader-Follower strategy is proposed based on Lyapunov's direct method;finally, simulation experiments are conducted to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the control method. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

When the wireless sensor network is used for target tracking, it is difficult to work stably when the energy of some nodes is exhausted. Traditional target tracking algorithms are frequently driven and only consider the communication frequency between sensors, without simultaneously considering the measurement frequency between sensors and tracking targets. To reduce network resource consumption, a bilateral event driven target tracking algorithm is proposed, which introduces event driven mechanisms between sensors and tracked targets, and updates internal dynamic variables to adjust driving conditions. The measurement error function is further improved to improve the tracking accuracy, so that the tracking error is bounded in the mean square sense. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through simulation examples. © 2023 IEEE.

The daily use of plastics presents a serious pollution issue due to their extremely slow *** and the biofilm that grows on plastics(i.e.,the plastisphere)are important subsets of plastic *** studies have been conducted to reveal the structures of the plastispheres,the driving factors for the formation of the plastisphere,and the ability of the plastispheres to degrade plastics in a variety of water ***,the plastispheres related to wastewater are *** this study,we used a microcosmic strategy to study the evolution of the plastispheres associated with microplastics(MPs)over time in *** found that plastic materials and water sources did not actively select and shape the plastispheres at an early stage,but the active selection for a unique niche of the plastisphere occurred after 14 d of *** addition,we confirmed that the alkB gene was densely present,and metagenomics showed some additional chemical reactions,which suggests that MPs are consumed by the microbes in the ***,metagenomics identified some metagenome-assembled genomes(MAGs)associated with high-density polyethylene(HDPE)and polyethylene terephthalate(PET).The identification of HDPE-associated MAGs and PET-associated MAGs further supports the notion that the selection for a unique niche of the plastisphere is driven by plastic materials and water sources(in this study,after 14 d of growth).Our discoveries bring new views on the behavior of the wastewater-associated plastisphere,especially how long it takes a wastewater plastisphere to form.

Dynamic window approach (DWA) is a frequently-used local path planning algorithm for avoiding dynamic obstacles in multi-agent path planning. Velocity obstacle (VO) is a local path planning algorithm that uses the relative velocity of robots to determine whether there will be collisions between robots in the future for collision avoidance. This paper proposes an improved method combining the velocity obstacle and dynamic window approach. The proposed algorithm can solve the problem of path redundancy caused by the influence of robots on each other in the local path planning of multiple robots, solve the problem that the robot can not reach the target point due to the influence of other robots and limitations of robot's kinematics model, reduce the phenomenon of dead cycle around the target point. Finally, the simulation experiment verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithm proposed in this paper. The simulation result analysis demonstrates the improved algorithm's path planning effect and the reduced running time. © 2023 IEEE.

The existence of missing values increases the difficulty of classification in the real world. In this paper, we propose a classification method based on the tracking-removed autoencoder (TRAE) for incomplete data. Specifically, we use the tracking-removed autoencoder as an imputation model to estimate missing values by constructing mutual fitting relationships between attributes on a network structure. On this basis, the multi-layer perceptron (MLP) is used as the classification model to classify the complete data after imputation. In the training phase, we designed a new training scheme for the imputation model, which treats missing values as variables and dynamically optimizes them together with network parameters, making it easier for missing values to match existing attribute values in incomplete datasets. Then, we use the complete training set after imputation to train the parameters in the MLP network model. In the testing phase, the network parameters of the imputation model are fixed and the missing values in the test set are considered as variables, which are optimally updated to obtain the complete test set. The classification model predicts its class label based on the optimized complete test set. The training scheme make the missing values in incomplete data approach the actual value with higher precision, and weaken the impact of missing data on classification. Experimental results on several incomplete datasets demonstrate that the proposed method can effectively improve the imputation performance, thereby improving the classification performance of incomplete data. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.
