In this article, the leader's behavior learning problem is investigated for a class of leader-follower systems, where the leader's behavior is assumed not a priori known to all followers that are autonomous. A multiplayer nonzero-sum differential game is introduced to indicate the control interaction between agents, where the leader's behavior is modeled by an unknown cost function. The autonomous followers aim to retrieve the weighting matrix in the leader's cost function collaboratively. A distributed online adaptive inverse differential game (IDG) approach to the leader's behavior learning is proposed for the autonomous followers. Specifically, a concurrent learning based adaptive law and an interactive game controller are first developed for each autonomous follower to learn the leader's feedback gain matrix online, while the feedback Nash equilibrium of the game can be achieved. Then, a linear matrix inequality optimization problem is formulated to determine the weighting matrix of the leader's cost function for each autonomous follower. The proposed method simply requires that all followers share their interactive feedback gain matrices, not their private intents, and use only the system state data, not both the system state data and the leader's control input data. The main advantages of the proposed method are that it can be implemented online without requiring the persistent excitation condition and needs less computational power for all followers. Finally, numerical simulations are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the developed method. © 2020 IEEE.

In order to investigate the defect band within the casting, the design of a stepped mold with a thickness gradient of 1mm (the thickness of its five stepped areas were 5mm, 4mm, 3mm, 2mm and 1mm), the selection of AlSi10MgMn alloys to carry out high pressure die casting experiments. Statistical analysis reveals that the band thicknesses of 2mm 、 3mm and 4mm die castings were measured to be in the range 7 - 18 mean grains wide, which is substantial evidence on that defect bands form due to strain localization in partially solidified alloys during HPDC. In addition, the defect band of 1mm, 2mm and 5mm areas are relatively indistinct. For 1mm and 2mm area, the filling and solidification process of castings plays a deterministic role. But for 5mm area, the distribution of ESCs in band is the key reason. At the same, the distribution of ESCs also makes the defect bands in the 3mm and 4mm regions well defined. Finally, no additional porosity occurs in the AlSi10MgMn alloys, which display defect bands of positive macrosegregation. © 2024 75th World Foundry Congress, WFC 2024. All rights reserved.

Study on the assimilation of the sulphate reaction rates based on WRF-Chem/DART

Sulphate(SO_(4)^(2-))is a main component of PM_(2.5)in *** chemical formation mechanisms of sulphate are complex,and many air quality models have been used to analyse these *** improve the accuracy of Weather Research Forecast-Chemistry(WRF-Chem)on sulphate,an alternative method is proposed in this ***,data assimilation is performed to adjust the chemical reaction rates of *** on the original reactions,a new sulphate parameterisation scheme,which includes two hypothetical reactions and six undetermined parameters,was *** on the WRF-Chem/DART(Data Assistance Research Testbed)system,the near-ground concentrations of SO_(4)^(2-),SO_(2),NO_(2),O_(3)and particulate matter are assimilated to adjust the six *** adjusting the parameters,the new scheme can effectively solve the underestimation of SO_(4)^(2-)and overestimation of SO_(2).The simulation of SO_(4)^(2-)improved as the mean bias changed from-13.1μg m^(-3)to 3.5μg m^(-3)while SO_(2)improved from 17.0μg m^(-3)to 6.3μg m^(-3).The temporal and spatial variation characteristics predicted by the new scheme are consistent with the theoretical research results,indicating that the complex mechanism of sulphate formation could be replaced by the temporal and spatial variation characteristics predicted by the new scheme and that the parameters can be adjusted by data ***,the reaction rates of the SO_(4)^(2-)parameterisation scheme of the WRF-Chem model are improved in this study,and a new method for improving the accuracy of the air quality model is provided.

Compared to conventional observations, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) observations often result in a large number of small objects that are fuzzy and lack sufficient feature detail. In this paper, a Dynamic Meta Tandem Transformer (DMTT) network is proposed to solve the small objects problem under the view of the UAV field. We design an Adaptive Cross-dimensional Attention (ACA) to dynamically focus on important feature information in multiple dimensions. a Tandem Pooling Layer (TPL) to reduce the number of parameters and maintain high accuracy. Based on ACA and TPL, Attention Meta Feature Fusion (AMFF) and Adaptive Tandem Transformer (ATT) are proposed. AMMF can capture fine-grained spatial information to address the lack of information on small objects. ATT can aggregate global contextual information to enhance the position of small objects. Extensive experiments on the Visdrone dataset, DMTT improves by 1.3% on the AP metrics compared to the state-of-the-art model. On the UAVDT dataset, DMTT improves by 2.3% on the AP metrics compared to the state-of-the-art model. Meanwhile, the FPS metrics of DMTT on Visdrone and UAVDT reach 30.1 and 30.5, respectively. The results show that DMTT has both accuracy and speed. Moreover, DMTT improves by 0.3% (AP 46.9%) on the MS-COCO dataset, which is encouraging and competitive. © 2024 SPIE.

Stabilized Hf-doped Ti/Sb-SnO2 electrode for efficient degradation of tetracycline

The electrochemical advanced oxidation process (EAOP) has shown significant promise in the field of refractory organic wastewater treatment due to its high efficiency and environmentally friendly nature. In this study, Ti/Sb-SnO2 electrodes with varying proportions of Hf were prepared using the sol–gel method. The addition of Hf transformed the original collapsing and broken surface into a flat and regular surface. The results demonstrated that Ti/Sb-SnO2-Hf electrode doped with 6% Hf exhibited a higher oxygen evolution potential (OEP) and excellent stability. The OEP increased from 2.315 V without Hf-doping to 2.482 V, and the corresponding actual life was 321.05% higher than that without Hf. The current density (5–40 mA·cm−2), electrolyte concentration (0.02–0.2 mol·L−1), pH (3–11), and initial pollutant concentration (5–80 mg·L−1) were evaluated to confirm the tetracycline (TC) degradation characterization of Ti/Sb-SnO2-6%Hf electrodes. It was concluded that under the optimal degradation conditions, the removal rate of TC could reach 99.66% within 2 h. The degradation of TC follows first-order reaction kinetics. The oxidative degradation of TC was achieved through indirect oxidation, with ·OH playing a dominant role. TC’s electrochemical oxidation degradation pathway has been proposed: Based on LC–MS results, three main pathways are speculated. During the electrocatalytic oxidation process, decarboxylation, deamidation, and ring-opening reactions occur under ·OH attack, producing intermediate compounds with m/z values of 427, 433, 350, 246, 461, 424, 330, 352, 309, 263, and 233. These intermediates are further oxidized to intermediate compounds with an m/z value of 218. This work introduces a new efficient anode electrochemical catalyst for the degradation of TC, providing a strategy for industrial applications. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature 2024.

As urban traffic continues to grow at a swift pace and road congestion intensifies, shared bicycles have increasingly caught the public’s attention. Utilizing shared bicycles has emerged as a mode of transportation that is not only convenient and eco-friendly but also conducive to health. In this study, we employed two ensemble learning approaches-stacking and weighted averaging-to forecast the demand for urban bike-sharing services. These predictions were based on various optimized combinations of XGBoost, linear regression, and LightGBM models. Specifically, the stacking learning approach integrates models like XGBoost, linear regression, and LightGBM in diverse configurations. Meanwhile, the weighted averaging learning approach allocates distinct weights to models such as XGBoost, linear regression, and LightGBM. For the experimental phase, we utilized a bicycle rental dataset sourced from Washington D.C., USA, covering the period from 2011 to 2012. The evaluation metrics utilized were RMSLE, RMSE, and MAE. Our findings indicate that the ensemble model comprising XGBoost, linear regression, and LightGBM (referred to as XGB-LGB-LR) outperforms models employing alternative strategies across a range of metrics. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

In order to study the problems of unreasonable airflow distribution and serious dust pollution in a heading surface,an experimental platform for forced ventilation and dust removal was built based on the similar *** the similar experiment and numerical simulation,the distribution of airflow field in the roadway and the spatial and temporal evolution of dust pollution under the conditions of forced ventilation were *** airflow field in the roadway can be divided into three zones:jet zone,vortex zone and reflux *** dust concentration gradually decreases from the head to the rear of the *** the forced ventilation conditions,there is a unilateral accumulation of dust,with higher dust concentrations away from the *** position of the equipment has an interception effect on the *** maximum error between the test value and the simulation result is 12.9%,which verifies the accuracy of the experimental *** research results can provide theoretical guidance for the application of dust removal technology in coal mine.

Metal−organic framework-derived materials have attracted significant attention in the applications of functional *** this work,the rod-like nickel-based metal−organic frameworks were first synthesized and subsequently employed as the hard templates and nickel sources to prepare the whisker-shaped nickel phyllosilicate using a facile hydrothermal ***,the nickel phyllosilicate whiskers were evaluated to enhance the mechanical,thermal,flammable,and tribological properties of epoxy *** results show that adequate nickel phyllosilicate whiskers can disperse well in the matrix,improving the tensile strength and elastic modulus by 13.6%and 56.4%,*** the addition of nickel phyllosilicate whiskers could not obtain any UL-94 ratings,it enhanced the difficulty in burning the resulted epoxy resin nanocomposites and considerably enhanced thermal ***,it was demonstrated that such nickel phyllosilicate whiskers preferred to improve the wear resistance instead of the antifriction ***,the wear rate of epoxy resin nanocomposites was reduced significantly by 80%for pure epoxy resin by adding 1 phr *** as-prepared nickel phyllosilicate whiskers proved to be promising reinforcements in preparing of high-performance epoxy resin nanocomposites.
