Intake of tobacco nitrosamines of smokers in various provinces of China and their cancer risk:A meta-analysis

Nitrosamines are a class of carcinogens which have been detected widely in food,water,some pharmaceuticals as well as *** objectives of this paper include reviewing the basic information on tobacco consumption and nitrosamine contents,and assessing the health risks of tobacco nitrosamines exposure to Chinese *** searched the publications in English from“Web of science”and those in Chinese from the“China National Knowledge Infrastructure”in 2022 and collected 151 literatures with valid *** content of main nitrosamines in tobacco,including 4-(methylnitrosoamino)-1-(3-pyridyl)-1-butanone(NNK),N-nitrosonornicotine(NNN),N-nitrosoanatabine(NAT),N-nitrosoanabasine(NAB),total tobacco-specific nitrosamines(TSNA),and N-nitrosodimethylamine(NDMA)were *** information of daily tobacco consumption of smokers in 30 provinces of China was also ***,the intakes of NNN,NNK,NAT,NAB,TSNAs,and NDMA via tobacco smoke were estimated as 1534ng/day,591 ng/day,685 ng/day,81 ng/day,2543 ng/day,and 484 ng/day by adult smokers in30 provinces,*** cancer risk(CR)values for NNN and NNK inhalation intake were further calculated as 1.44×10^(-5)and 1.95×10^(-4).The CR value for NDMA intake via tobacco smoke(inhalation:1.66×10^(-4))indicates that NDMA is similarly dangerous in tobacco smoke when compared with the *** China,the CR values caused by average nitrosamines intake via various exposures and their order can be estimated as the following:smoke(3.75×10^(-4))>food(1.74×10^(-4))>drinking water(1.38×10^(-5)).Smokers in China averagely suffer 200%of extra cancer risk caused by nitrosamines in tobacco when compared with non-smokers.

The current mainstream aspect level sentiment analysis methods focus on modeling the relationship between word representations in text and their context, fail to fully utilize the syntactic structure information of the *** paper proposes a sentiment triplet extraction model IS-ASTE(Integrating with Syntactic information model for Aspect Sentiment Triplet Extraction, IS-ASTE).Firstly, the graph attention layer is employed to obtain contextual context ***, based on the syntactic dependency tree to obtain the text element's dependency, lexical and distance information, which is combined with the attention mechanism to augment the sentiment ***, graph convolutional neural networks are integrated to aggregate the feature information of nodes for sentiment *** experimental results indicate that, across four representative datasets, the F1 values are all better than those of the baseline model, demonstrating better performance in sentiment analysis. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s). How will the internet of energy (IoE) revolutionize the electricity sector? A techno-economic review

As many experts had predicted before, we are experiencing a transitional era from a traditional to a digital society where everything is interconnected with each other. A number of researchers and energy experts including Jeremy Rifkin, the author of the ‘third industrial revolution’ book, have presented a concept that is called the Internet of energy IoE. The concept that is literally the application of the internet of things IoT in the energy sector presents ambitious targets. One of them is to make renewable energy the main global source of energy generation. Several pilot projects have shown that the concept has a great potential to decarbonize, decentralize and digitize our electricity sector. And many countries including China, have adopted action plans to start applying IoE in their electricity sector. We will present in this paper the opportunities that the internet of energy could bring to the electricity sector based on research that was conducted by R&D centers, energy agencies and consulting firms. Our analysis is a systematic review about the potential benefits of IoE applications in the electricity sector. We proposed the different changes that IoE will bring to the three main layers of the electricity sector including the production, distribution/transmission and consumption. We also emphasized on the future architecture of IoE implementation in the power sector taking blockchain as the main electricity trading platform. We conducted a techno-economic case study of the implementation of IoE solutions in real life. Using modeling from Meteonorm, PV-syst and Excel, we analyzed three different scenarios to show the added value of applying IoE solutions to a 6 KWp PV solar farm in Ouarzazat-Morocco. Lastly, we presented key recommendations concerning the development phases of IoE. © 2022

This paper studies the distributed control of battery energy storage systems with directed communication topology. A discrete time distributed control method for SoC(state-of-charge) consensus is proposed based on directed graph. Firstly, a distributed finite-time tracking algorithm is presented to estimate the average unbalanced power given by dispatch center, as well as the average of the variables used to calculate the power of each battery. Secondly, a finite-time iterative method is proposed to make the directed graph be balanced. Then, combined with the multi-rate control, the power allocation and SoC consensus are realized. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed methods is verified through simulation examples. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Growth,optical dispersion and magnetic behavior of Dy^(3+) doped yttrium iron garnet crystals

Y_(3)Fe_(5)O_(12)(YIG)crystals are highly desirable for the fabrication of mid-infrared isolators with the rapid growth of optical communications,although it is rather challenging to grow large size and high-quality single ***^(3+)doping is expected to improve the optical and magneto-optical prope ***,high quality Dy:YIG crystals and the adjustment of Dy^(3+)on the structure and optical behavior of YIG crystal remain unclear,impeding its practical ***,a series of Y_(3-x)Dy_(x)Fe_(5)O_(12)(x=0,0.5,1.0,1.5,3)solid solution crystals was grown by the flux-Bridgman method and single crystals up to 25 mm were *** the introduction of Dy^(3+),lattice parameters are gradually enlarged from 1.2379 nm(YIG)to 1.2420 nm(DyIG).Typical Dy^(3+)absorption peaks are observed around 1070,1265 and 1670 *** refractive index decreases from 2.37(500 nm)to 2.10(2500 nm)for YIG crystal,and it reduces from 2.47(500 nm)to 2.16(2500 nm)for DyIG *** optical bandgaps remain almost unchanged for Dy:YIG *** optical dispersion of the refractive indices was finely fitted by the Wemple and DiDomenico(WDD)and the Sellmeier models,*** the increase of Dy^(3+)content,the saturation magnetization(Ms)decreases significantly from 23.62 emu/g(YIG)to 5.33 emu/g(DyIG).Small coercive field is persisted for this system,endowing small external magnetic *** results provide valuable references for the manipulation of rare earths on the properties of magnetooptical crystals,which is beneficial to the design of high-performance garnet crystals for the application of optical switching and non-reciprocal related devices.

In recent years,audio pattern recognition has emerged as a key area of research,driven by its applications in human-computer interaction,robotics,and *** methods,which rely heavily on handcrafted features such asMel filters,often suffer frominformation loss and limited feature representation *** address these limitations,this study proposes an innovative end-to-end audio pattern recognition framework that directly processes raw audio signals,preserving original information and extracting effective classification *** proposed framework utilizes a dual-branch architecture:a global refinement module that retains channel and temporal details and a multi-scale embedding module that captures high-level semantic ***,a guided fusion module integrates complementary features from both branches,ensuring a comprehensive representation of audio ***,the multi-scale audio context embedding module is designed to effectively extract spatiotemporal dependencies,while the global refinement module aggregates multi-scale channel and temporal cues for enhanced *** guided fusion module leverages these features to achieve efficient integration of complementary information,resulting in improved classification *** results demonstrate the model’s superior performance on multiple datasets,including ESC-50,UrbanSound8K,RAVDESS,and CREMA-D,with classification accuracies of 93.25%,90.91%,92.36%,and 70.50%,*** results highlight the robustness and effectiveness of the proposed framework,which significantly outperforms existing *** addressing critical challenges such as information loss and limited feature representation,thiswork provides newinsights and methodologies for advancing audio classification and multimodal interaction systems.

FPC-BTB detection and positioning system based on optimized YOLOv5

With the aim of addressing the visual positioning problem of board-to-board(BTB)jacks during the automatic assembly of flexible printed circuit(FPC)in mobile phones,an FPC-BTB jack detection method based on the optimized You Only Look Once,version 5(YOLOv5)deep learning algorithm was proposed in this *** FPC-BTB jack real-time detection and positioning system was developed for the real-time target detection and pose output synchronization of the BTB *** that basis,a visual positioning experimental platform that integrated a UR5e manipulator arm and Hikvision industrial camera was built for BTB jack detection and positioning *** indicated by the experimental results,the developed FPC-BTB jack detection and positioning system for BTB target recognition and positioning achieved a success rate of 99.677%.Its average detection accuracy reached 99.341%,the average confidence of the detected target was 91%,the detection and positioning speed reached 31.25 frames per second,and the positioning deviation was less than 0.93 mm,which conforms to the practical application requirements of the FPC assembly process.

TIPS:Tailored Information Extraction in Public Security Using Domain-Enhanced Large Language Model

Processing police incident data in public security involves complex natural language processing(NLP)tasks,including information *** data contains extensive entity information—such as people,locations,and events—while also involving reasoning tasks like personnel classification,relationship judgment,and implicit ***,utilizing models for extracting information from police incident data poses a significant challenge—data scarcity,which limits the effectiveness of traditional rule-based and machine-learning *** address these,we propose *** collaboration with public security experts,we used de-identified police incident data to create templates that enable large language models(LLMs)to populate data slots and generate simulated data,enhancing data density and *** then designed schemas to efficiently manage complex extraction and reasoning tasks,constructing a high-quality dataset and fine-tuning multiple open-source *** showed that the fine-tuned ChatGLM-4-9B model achieved an F1 score of 87.14%,nearly 30%higher than the base model,significantly reducing error *** corrections further improved performance by 9.39%.This study demonstrates that combining largescale pre-trained models with limited high-quality domain-specific data can greatly enhance information extraction in low-resource environments,offering a new approach for intelligent public security applications.
