To ensure quick and reliable primary protection on VSCHVDC transmission lines, this paper proposes an improved Dynamic State Estimation (DSE) based protection method with full exploitation of information redundancy. The proposed approach improves the existing DSE based protection method by establishing a new dynamic model of the line under protection, which considers information redundancy embedded in the protection problem. The new dynamic model is systematically solved through the DSE procedure with weight matrices that are mathematically derived. Numerical experiments in an example VSC-HVDC system validate that the proposed DSE based protection method has improved selectivity, dependability and security compared to the existing DSE based protection method. In addition, the computation burden of the method is also carefully examined to ensure that it can meet real-time operation requirements of protective relays in practice.

In this paper, we present an Interactive multiple mode-Unscented Kalman filter (IMM-UKF) algorithm to achieve mobile node location under wireless sensor networks environments. In the IMM structure, UKF and Variational Bayesian Adaptive Method based on UKF are adapted in parallel, which can improve positioning accuracy in the process of line-of sight (LOS) and non-line-of-sight (NLOS) signal state switching. The estimated values by filtering are fused according to the weighting factors to get the estimated positions. Moreover, when NLOS measurement noise covariance change, we propose Variational Bayesian Adaptive Method based on UKF to improve robustness. Both Simulation and experiments illustrate that the propose algorithm performs can achieve competitive localization accuracy.

Programmable assembly of gold nanoparticle superstructures with precise spatial arrangement has drawn much attention for their unique characteristics in plasmonics and biomedicine. Bio-inspired methods have already provided programmable, molecular approaches to direct AuNP assemblies using biopolymers. The existing methods, however, predominantly use DNA as scaffolds to directly guide the AuNP interactions to produce intended superstructures. New paradigms for regulating AuNP assembly will greatly enrich the toolbox for DNA-directed AuNP manipulation and fabrication. Here, we developed a strategy of using a spatially programmable enzymatic nanorobot arm to modulate anisotropic DNA surface modifications and assembly of AuNPs. Through spatial controls of the proximity of the reactants, the locations of the modifications were precisely regulated. We demonstrated the control of the modifications on a single 15 nm AuNP, as well as on a rectangular DNA origami platform, to direct unique anisotropic AuNP assemblies. This method adds an alternative enzymatic manipulation to DNA-directed AuNP superstructure assembly.

Objective Secure communication based on chaotic lasers has gained significant attention in recent years due to its high speed and compatibility with existing fiber-optic networks. Vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSELs) are promising candidates, offering a compact structure and low power consumption. However, VCSELs are constrained by chaotic bandwidth limitations induced by relaxation oscillations, which reduce the secure transmission rate. Existing methods for broadening the chaos bandwidth often rely on complex external perturbations, which may hinder system synchronization. We propose a simplified method for generating broadband chaos by utilizing the relaxation-oscillation-free polarization mode of VCSELs. Methods We present a novel approach for generating broadband chaos by utilizing the relaxation-oscillation-free polarization mode of VCSELs. The experimental setup (Fig. 1) employs a custom single-mode VCSEL with a wavelength of 1550 nm and no internal isolator. The laser is powered by a low-noise current source and is equipped with precise temperature control to ensure stable operation. Optical feedback is provided via a fiber mirror, with its intensity regulated by a variable optical attenuator. Polarization controllers are used to align the feedback polarization, directing X mode feedback to the X mode and Y mode feedback to the Y mode. The output signals are separated into X+Y, X, and Y modes using polarization beam splitters. The spectral, temporal, and dynamic properties of the VCSEL are analyzed using an optical spectrum analyzer, a high-speed oscilloscope, and an electrical spectrum analyzer. Key parameters, including bias current and feedback strength, are systematically varied and optimized to investigate their effects on chaos generation, with the aim of identifying the optimal conditions for achieving broadband chaos with the desired characteristics. For this competition, they are using different kind of sources to analysis the software reliability and importance. Nowadays Data mining is one of source, which is used in software for overcome the problem of software fault which occur during the software test and its analysis. This kind of problem leads software deformity prophecy in software. In this research paper, we are also trying to overcome the software deformity prophecy problem with the help of our proposed solution called ONER rule attribute. We have used REPOSITORY datasets models, these datasets models are defected and non-defected datasets models. Our analysis class of interest is defected models. In our research, we have analyzed the efficiency of our proposed solution methods. The experiments results showed that using of ONER with discretize, have improved the efficiency of correctly classified instances in all. Using percentage split and training datasets with ONER discretize rule attribute have improved correctly classified in all datasets models. The analysis of positive accuracy f-measure is also increased in percentage split during the use of ONER with discretize but in some datasets models, the training data and cross validation is better with use of ONER rule attribute. The area under curve (ROC) in both scenarios using ONER rule attribute and discretize with ONER rule attribute is almost same or equal with each other.
