Video target tracking is one of hot fields of computer vision, and its application is also very extensive. However, due to the complexity and variability of tracking environment, which brings some challenges to the research of target tracking. ECO(Efficient Convolution Operators) Algorithm is proposed based on convolutional neural network in three aspects. Firstly, residual neural network ResNet50 is adopted instead of convolutional neural network to extract the appearance features of target, and deeper residual neural network is applied to obtain more abundant target semantic information, so as to improve the tracking effect of tracking ***, sample space classification strategy is improved. Different weights are assigned to shallow feature and deep feature, which make the deep feature play a more important role and improve the effect of target tracking. Finally, the method of scale estimation is improved so that better bounding boxes can be estimated with the scale changing. Experimental results show that the distance accuracy and success rate of the algorithm.

In general, edge devices and edge servers in edge computing environment communicate with each other by wireless network, which put forward a high requirement for end-to-end wireless communication performance. In this paper, we propose an optimal strategy by combining the coherent beamforming (CB) technique and the successive interference cancellation (SIC) technique for improving the performance of the edge device communications. CB technique can be used for expanding the transmitter's transmitting range, while SIC technique can be used for improving the receiver's receiving ability. However, when these two techniques are used jointly, interference will occur between transmitters and receivers, which makes the CB-SIC strategy hard to be designed. We first give the mathematical model based on CB-SIC and show it is difficult to solve directly. Then, we design a heuristic algorithm called time slot loop allocation (TSLA) algorithm. TSLA is based on greedy strategy to obtain an approximate optimal solution. By using TSLA, the whole scheduling time will be divided into many time slots. In each time slot, we try to make as many edge devices as possible to transmit data to the server. These can increase the overall data throughput. In simulation, we compare CB-SIC wireless network with CB only, SIC only, and traditional multi-hop network. Simulation results show that the TSLA algorithm can improve the end-to-end communication performance in edge computing environment.

Intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) is a promising technology to enhance the coverage and performance of wireless networks. We consider the application of IRS to non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA), where a base station transmits superposed signals to multiple users by the virtue of an IRS. The performance of an IRS-assisted NOMA networks with imperfect successive interference cancellation (ipSIC) and perfect successive interference cancellation (pSIC) is investigated by invoking 1-bit coding scheme. In particular, we derive new exact and asymptotic expressions for both outage probability and ergodic rate of the mth user with ipSIC/pSIC. Based on analytical results, the diversity order of the m-th user with pSIC is in connection with the number of reflecting elements and channel ordering. The high signal-to-noise radio (SNR) slope of ergodic rate for the m-th user is obtained. The throughput and energy efficiency of nonorthogonal users for IRS-NOMA are discussed both in delaylimited and delay-tolerant transmission modes. Additionally, we derive new exact expressions of outage probability and ergodic rate for IRS-assisted orthogonal multiple access (IRS-OMA). Numerical results are presented to substantiate our analyses and demonstrate that: i) The outage behaviors of IRS-NOMA are superior to that of IRS-OMA and relaying schemes;ii) With increasing the number of reflecting elements, IRS-NOMA is capable of achieving enhanced outage performance;and iii) The M-th user has a larger ergodic rate compared to IRS-OMA and benchmarks. This paper proposes an optimization model for community microgrid. The proposed scheme performs the scheduling of domestic appliances in a community microgrid using renewable energy resources. The objective of the scheme is to minimize the total operating cost in the whole community. The optimization problem is solved using the branch and bound algorithm. Blockchain (BC) technology is introduced for secure implementation of the proposed approach. Machine to machine interaction is facilitated using BC technology. The transaction information/ data is stored in the distributed shared ledger. The smart contract is used to automatically trigger the flow of electricity and the movement of funds once the necessary conditions are met. © 2019 IEEE.

The ability to deal with systems parametric uncertainties is an essential issue for heavy self-driving vehicles in unconfined environments. In this sense, robust controllers prove to be efficient for autonomous navigation. However, uncertainty matrices for this class of systems are usually defined by algebraic methods which demand prior knowledge of the system dynamics. In this case, the control system designer depends on the quality of the uncertain model to obtain an optimal control performance. This work proposes a robust recursive controller designed via multiobjective optimization to overcome these shortcomings. Furthermore, a local search approach for multiobjective optimization problems is presented. The proposed method applies to any multiobjective evolutionary algorithm already established in the literature. In this study, an automated three dimensional (3D) deep segmentation approach for detecting gliomas in 3D pre-operative MRI scans is proposed. Then, a classification algorithm based on random forests, for survival prediction is presented. The objective is to segment the glioma area and produce segmentation labels for its different sub-regions, i.e. necrotic and the non-enhancing tumor core, the peritumoral edema, and enhancing tumor. The proposed deep architecture for the segmentation task encompasses two parallel streamlines with two different resolutions. One deep convolutional neural network is to learn local features of the input data while the other one is set to have a global observation on whole image. Deemed to be complementary, the outputs of each stream are then merged to provide an ensemble complete learning of the input image. The proposed network takes the whole image as input instead of patch-based approaches in order to consider the semantic features throughout the whole volume. The algorithm is trained on BraTS 2019 which included 335 training cases, and validated on 127 unseen cases from the validation dataset using a blind testing approach. The proposed method was also evaluated on the BraTS 2019 challenge test dataset of 166 cases. The results show that the proposed methods provide promising segmentations as well as survival prediction. The mean Dice overlap measures of automatic brain tumor segmentation for validation set were 0.84, 0.74 and 0.71 for the whole tumor, core and enhancing tumor, respectively. The corresponding results for the challenge test dataset were 0.82, 0.72, and 0.70, respectively. Open quantum systems are a topic of intense theoretical research. The use of master equations to model a system's evolution subject to an interaction with an external environment is one of the most successful theoretical paradigms. General experimental tools to study different open system realizations have been limited, and so it is highly desirable to develop experimental tools which emulate diverse master equation dynamics and give a way to test open systems theories. In this paper we demonstrate a systematic method for engineering specific system-environment interactions and emulating master equations of a particular form using classical stochastic noise in a superconducting transmon qubit. We also demonstrate that non-Markovian noise can be used as a resource to extend the coherence of a quantum system and counteract the adversarial effects of Markovian environments. © 2022, CC BY.

Renewable energy sources, elastic loads, and purposeful manipulation of meter readings challenge the monitoring and control of today’s power systems (PS). In this context, fast and robust state estimation (SE) is timely and of major importance to maintain a comprehensive view of the system in real time. Conventional PSSE solvers typically entail minimizing a nonlinear and nonconvex least-squares cost using e.g., the Gauss-Newton method. Those iterative solvers however, are sensitive to initialization, and may converge to local minima. To overcome these hurdles, the present paper adapts and leverages recent advances on image denoising to introduce a PSSE approach with a regularizer capturing a deep neural network (DNN) prior. For the resultant regularized PSSE objective, a "Gauss-Newton-type" alternating minimization solver is developed first. To accommodate real-time monitoring, a novel end-to-end DNN is constructed subsequently by unrolling the proposed alternating minimization solver. The deep PSSE architecture can further account for the power network topology through a graph neural network (GNN) based prior. To further endow the physics-based DNN with robustness against bad data, an adversarial DNN training method is put forth. Numerical tests using real load data on the IEEE 118-bus benchmark system showcase the improved estimation and robustness performance of the proposed scheme compared with several state-of-the-art alternatives.
