In this paper, we explore the potential stealthy attacks in the DC microgrid (DCmG) equipped with unknown input observer (UIO) based detectors, which are widely adopted for the detection and identification of cyber-attacks. We first prove that once the attacker knows the bounds of the initial state estimation error and the measurement noise, he/she can launch the nonzero-dynamics stealthy (NDS) attack in the DCmG, which can affect the detection residual while keep stealthy. Considering the complexity of the multi-layer control framework in the DCmG, we simplify the primary control loops as static unit gains and obtain the systematic dynamic model of the DCmG under the NDS attack. Then, we obtain the analytical expressions of the Point of Common Coupling (PCC) voltages, which are utilized to analyze the effects of the NDS attack on voltage balancing and current sharing, respectively. Moreover, we prove that under the NDS attack, the voltage and current convergence can still be achieved exponentially in the DCmG. Finally, extensive simulations are conducted in Simulink/PLECS to validate our theoretical results.

Doping is generally understood as a strategy for including additional positive or negative charge carriers in a semiconductor, thereby tuning the Fermi level and changing its electronic properties in the equilibrium limit. However, because dopants also couple to all of the microscopic degrees of freedom in the host, they may also alter the nonequilibrium dynamical properties of the parent material, especially at large dopant concentrations. Here, we show how substitutional doping by tungsten at the 1 at. % level modifies the complex electronic and lattice dynamics of the phase-change material vanadium dioxide. Using femtosecond broadband spectroscopy, we compare dynamics in epitaxial thin films of pristine and tungsten-doped VO2 over the broadest wavelength and temporal ranges yet reported. We demonstrate that coupling of tungsten atoms to the host lattice modifies the early electron-phonon dynamics on a femtosecond timescale, altering in a counterintuitive way the ps-to-ns optical signatures of the phase transition. Density functional theory correctly captures the enthalpy difference between pristine and W-doped VO2 and shows how the dopant softens critical V-V phonon modes while introducing new phononic modes due to W-V bonds. While substitutional doping provides a powerful method to control the switching threshold and contrast of phase-change materials, determining how the dopant dynamically changes the broadband optical response is equally important for optoelectronics.

The field of machine learning has been developing quickly, delivering an assortment of learning algorithms for various software applications. A definitive estimation of those algorithms is, all things considered, made a decision by their accomplishment in taking care of genuine issues. Machine Learning systems can be utilized to dissect data from alternate points of view and empower engineers to recover valuable data. Machine learning has been effectively applied to make forecasts in different datasets. Given the tremendous number of bug datasets accessible today, foreseeing the nearness of bugs also should be possible utilizing different machine learning procedures. The machine learning systems that can be utilized to identify bugs in software datasets by use of classification technique. Classification is a data mining and machine learning approach, helpful in software Defect-Prone model. It includes order of software modules into buggy, faulty or non-buggy, non-faulty that is signified by a lot of software intricacy measurements by using a classification model that is gotten from before improvement ventures data. we classifying effectiveness accuracy and efficiency software defect-prone model dependent on classification technique where we have utilized LibSVM and LibLinear classification. In our examination, we have seen that the during classification, LibSVM have increased the accuracy and efficiency special in train-set way. The TP-Rate and F-Measure positive accuracy is highly increased rather than other techniques. The area under curve is also enhanced using LibSVM in training datasets. But the correctly classified instances rate also increased in all classification. Bute with the use of % split, LibLinear an SVM are also good in few evaluation measures for their enhancement accuracy and efficiency.

Micro-services are activities that run in your own programs and communicate with HTTP APIS through lightweight devices. Under the Micro-service architecture, the API gateway is an important component of the overall architecture. It abstracts the common functions that are needed in the Micro-services. As the only entry for a Micro-service, the API gateway encapsulates the specific internal implementation and interface of the system. Based on the analysis and comparison of the traditional framework and the Micro-service framework, this paper mainly analyzes the realization of the functions: load balancing, automatic service blowing, and Gray release, and gives the implement scheme of the key technology of the API gateway under the Micro-service architecture. The scheme discusses the case study of the technology selection and application architecture under micro service. And it also provides a new solution for the difficulties in manage API gateway under micro service by giving a detailed design for the authentication of the API gateway, reverse proxy function and flow control function. By using API gateway, the problem of how a caller can call an independent service can be solved, thus the development efficiency can be greatly improved. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Event-triggered add-on safety for connected and automated vehicles using road-side network infrastructure

This paper proposes an event-triggered add-on safety mechanism to adjust the control parameters for timely braking in a networked vehicular system while maintaining maneuverability. Passenger vehicle maneuverability is significantly affected by the combined-slip friction effect, in which larger longitudinal tire slips result in considerable drop in lateral tire forces. This is of higher importance when unexpected dangerous situations occur on the road and immediate actions, such as braking, need to be taken to avoid collision. Harsh braking can lead to high-slip and loss of maneuverability;hence, timely braking is essential to reduce high-slip scenarios. In addition to the vehicles own active safety systems, the proposed event-triggered add-on safety is activated upon being informed about dangers by the road-side infrastructure. The aim is to incorporate the add-on safety feature to adjust the automatic control parameters for smooth and timely braking such that a collision is avoided while vehicle's maneuverability is maintained. We study two different wireless technologies for communication between the infrastructure and the vehicles, the Long-Term Evolution (LTE) and the fifth generation (5G) schemes. The framework is validated through high-fidelity software simulations and the advantages of including the add-on feature to augment the safety margins for each communication technology is evaluated. A sampled-data (SD) control is introduced for passivity of reaction-diffusion neural networks (RDNNs). With an appropriate Lyapunov functional (LF), a SD control design is developed based on linear matrix inequalities to guarantee the passivity of closed-loop RDNNs. Lastly, we provide a numerical example to support the presented method.

Dimensionality reduction algorithms, which reduce the dimensionality of a given data set whereas preserving the information of the original data set as well as possible, play an important role in machine learning and data mining. Duan et al. proposed a quantum version of the A-optimal projection algorithm (AOP) for dimensionality reduction [Phys. Rev. A 99, 032311 (2019)] and claimed that the algorithm has exponential speedups on the dimensionality of the original feature space n and the dimensionality of the reduced feature space k over the classical algorithm. In this paper, we correct the time complexity of the algorithm of Duan et al. to Oκ4sksεspolylogsmnε, where κ is the condition number of a matrix that related to the original data set, s is the number of iterations, m is the number of data points, and ε is the desired precision of the output state. Since the time complexity has an exponential dependence on s, the quantum algorithm can only be beneficial for high-dimensional problems with a small number of iterations s. To get a further speedup, we propose an improved quantum AOP algorithm with time complexity Osκ6kεpolylognmε+s2κ4εpolylogκkε and space complexity O[log2(nk/ε)+s]. With space complexity slightly worse, our algorithm achieves, at least, a polynomial speedup compared to the algorithm of Duan et al.. Also, our algorithm shows exponential speedups in n and m compared with the classical algorithm when κ,k, and 1/ε are O[polylog(nm)].

Background: Systems Medicine is a novel approach to medicine, that is, an interdisciplinary field that considers the human body as a system, composed of multiple parts and of complex relationships at multiple levels, and further integrated into an environment. Exploring Systems Medicine implies understanding and combining concepts coming from diametral different fields, including medicine, biology, statistics, modeling and simulation, and data science. Such heterogeneity leads to semantic issues, which may slow down implementation and fruitful interaction between these highly diverse fields. Methods: In this review, we collect and explain more than100 terms related to Systems Medicine. These include both modeling and data science terms and basic systems medicine terms, along with some synthetic definitions, examples of applications, and lists of relevant references. Allosteric DNAzyme-based DNA logic circuit: operations and dynamic analysis

Recently, due to the dual roles of DNA and enzyme, DNAzyme has been widely used in the field of DNA circuit, which has a wide range of applications in bio-engineered system, information processing and biocomputing. In fact, the activity of DNAzymes was regulated by subunits assembly, pH control and metal ions triggers. However, those regulations required to change the sequences of whole DNAzyme, as separating parts and inserting extra DNA sequence. Inspired by the allosteric regulation of proteins in nature, a new allosteric strategy is proposed to regulate the activity of DNAzyme without DNA sequences changes. In this strategy, DNA strand displacement was used to regulate the DNAzyme structure, through which the activity of DNAzyme was well controlled. The strategy was applied to E6-type DNAzymes, and the operations of DNA logic circuit (YES, OR, AND, cascading and feedback) were established and simulated with the dynamic analyses. The allosteric regulation has potential to construct more complicated molecular systems, which can be applied to bio-sensing and detection.
