Guaranteed finite-time H ∞ stability for uncertain nonlinear singular systems: A dynamic output feedback approach

This paper explores the finite-time dynamic output feedback (DOF) H ∞ control issue for nonlinear singular systems exposed to external perturbations and uncertainty. The primary objective is to utilize the designed technique of a DOF controller to achieve the state’s finite-time H ∞ stabilization for the nonlinear uncertain singular system in a prescribed interval. Firstly, by utilizing the augmented matrix method and Lyapunov function analysis, the developed results can achieve singular finite-time H ∞ stability for the closed-loop system along with the proposed DOF H ∞ control strategy. Then, through utilizing the matrix inequality decoupling principle, the determination of the DOF control parameters is derived to adjust the states of the system. Finally, the applicability and reliability of the obtained controller are adequately substantiated by some examples.

In the process of intelligent equipment manufacturing, AGV is an important link to realize material flow. With the increase of manufacturing scale and disturbance events, the main research direction of multi-agent systems is to realize the optimization of computing resources and the stability of control system in frequent information interaction and complex associated scenes. Therefore, in this paper, for the collaborative control of multi-agent AGV vehicle system, considering that AGV will be affected by signal interference and network packet loss during driving, as well as the dynamic time-varying characteristics of communication topology between vehicles, semi Markov process is used to describe the time-varying characteristics of communication topology, and adaptive event trigger mechanism is used to adjust the trigger threshold of the system to reduce the network burden, so as to achieve excellent control while saving network resources. Performance, In this paper, the agent model is first created. For the multi-agent object that this paper faces, the improved Q-learning algorithm is used to solve the variables in the process, and all variables are stored in the form of discrete tables. Finally, Matlab is used to simulate the product assembly process of a new energy vehicle electric drive system assembly workshop to verify the feasibility of this method. © 2025 Codon Publications. Reciprocal Normalization for Domain Adaptation

Batch normalization (BN) is widely used in modern deep neural networks, which has been shown to represent the domain-related knowledge, and thus is ineffective for cross-domain tasks like unsupervised domain adaptation (UDA). Existing BN variant methods aggregate source and target domain knowledge in the same channel in normalization module. However, the misalignment between the features of corresponding channels across domains often leads to a suboptimal transferability. In this paper, we exploit the cross-domain relation and propose a novel normalization method, Reciprocal Normalization (RN). Specifically, RN first presents a Reciprocal Compensation (RC) module to acquire the compensatory for each channel in both domains based on the cross-domain channel-wise correlation. Then RN develops a Reciprocal Aggregation (RA) module to adaptively aggregate the feature with its cross-domain compensatory components. As an alternative to BN, RN is more suitable for UDA problems and can be easily integrated into popular domain adaptation methods. Experiments show that the proposed RN outperforms existing normalization counterparts by a large margin and helps state-of-the-art adaptation approaches achieve better results. This paper addresses the stability issue of discrete-time switched positive nonlinear systems (SPNSs) characterized by partial unstable subsystems and constant delays. Firstly, we use a parameter to constrain the ratio of active durations of the stable and unstable modes, and derive the exponential stability conditions for SPNSs based on a key function. Then we analyze the relationship between convergence speed and the constant delay. Additionally, we obtain a stability criterion of SPNSs under a particular sequence of switching signals. Finally, we validate the results through a numerical example. © 2025 Elsevier Inc.

Unsupervised domain adaptation person re-identification (Re-ID) aims to identify pedestrian images within an unlabeled target domain with an auxiliary labeled source-domain dataset. Many existing works attempt to recover reliable identity information by considering multiple homogeneous networks. And take these generated labels to train the model in the target domain. However, these homogeneous networks identify people in approximate subspaces and equally exchange their knowledge with others or their mean net to improve their ability, inevitably limiting the scope of available knowledge and putting them into the same mistake. This paper proposes a Dual-level Asymmetric Mutual Learning method (DAML) to learn discriminative representations from a broader knowledge scope with diverse embedding spaces. Specifically, two heterogeneous networks mutually learn knowledge from asymmetric subspaces through the pseudo label generation in a hard distillation manner. The knowledge transfer between two networks is based on an asymmetric mutual learning manner. The teacher network learns to identify both the target and source domain while adapting to the target domain distribution based on the knowledge of the student. Meanwhile, the student network is trained on the target dataset and employs the ground-truth label through the knowledge of the teacher. Extensive experiments in Market-1501, CUHK-SYSU, and MSMT17 public datasets verified the superiority of DAML over state-of-the-arts. Copyright © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

In today's world cleaner electricity production has become an important element for resource-efficient production because modern societies are more effecting with environmental changes. Climate changes are becoming more and more threatening for human. Now it is need to explore some environmentally friendly means of production and produce energy which can reduce damages for environment. This study represents a theoretical model for green tech companies working in Pakistan. Data was collected from managers of different green tech companies and it was found that there is huge potential for technology related to green production and green energy in Pakistan as the government and private sector never pay due attention to this sector. Results of this study are indicating that there is huge market space and potential of market in green energy sector of Pakistan which will help to attract other companies to invest in this sector which will help to develop clean and green environment. This study is limited up to the companies distributing solar plates in Pakistan so in future it can be extended to other means of green energy. © 2020 IEEE.

Fuel cell electric vehicles have earned substantial attentions in recent decades due to their high-efficiency and zero-emission features, while the high operating costs remain the major barrier towards their large-scale commercialization. In such context, this paper aims to devise an energy management strategy for an urban postal-delivery fuel cell electric vehicle for operating cost mitigation. First, a data-driven dual-loop spatial-domain battery state-of-charge reference estimator is designed to guide battery energy depletion, which is trained by real-world driving data collected in postal delivery missions. Then, a fuzzy C-means clustering enhanced Markov speed predictor is constructed to project the upcoming velocity. Lastly, combining the state-of-charge reference and the forecasted speed, a model predictive control-based cost-optimization energy management strategy is established to mitigate vehicle operating costs imposed by energy consumption and power-source degradations. Validation results have shown that 1) the proposed strategy could mitigate the operating cost by 4.43% and 7.30% in average versus benchmark strategies, denoting its superiority in term of cost-reduction and 2) the computation burden per step of the proposed strategy is averaged at 0.123ms, less than the sampling time interval 1s, proving its potential of real-time applications. © 2022, CC BY.

Non-contact heart rate (HR) detection is a new technique developed in recent years, which uses face videos captured by ordinary cameras for heart rate signal estimation, and the implementation of this technique can be divided into two major parts: signal extraction and signal analysis. This paper classifies each pixel timing by using a simplified nearest neighbor classifier and optimizes the signal extraction results by morphological filtering. In the signal analysis stage, this paper uses principal component analysis (PCA) to pre-process the extracted signal set to select the three principal elements that are most likely to contain the heart rate signal, and then uses independent component analysis (ICA) to separate the three principal elements blindly, and then determines the final heart rate signal by fast Fourier transform (FFT). In this paper, the heart rate signal obtained from the above method using the laptop's own camera is compared with that of a finger clip pulse oximeter, and it is found that the algorithm used in this paper is used for non-contact heart rate detection in the presence of ambient noise and slight motion effects.

Pakistan considered as the leading agricultural country till late 1960s. The industrialization of major industries from 1970s to onward push country towards the major climate changes. Pakistan made significant progress especially in the textile industry. However, this progress results in bad impact on the climate because of poor implementation of climatic laws. The world carbon emission data of 2018 revealed that Pakistan contributed 195.71 M-Ton that was 24.43 M-ton in year 1969. Although, the global carbon emission has also shoot up from 19.87 G-Ton to 44 G-Ton. But the Pakistan's carbon emission contribution to world has risen up four times in these years. Pakistan has a lesson to learn from China. Carbon emission was big problem in till early 2000s as approximately 70% of electric industry was coal based. Closing down industry in order to clean environment is never a good solution. Since, this will close the door to progress for country. However, proper implementation of climate laws and efficient use of the energy can slow down carbon emission. In this work an efficient model to manage energy resources has been given. The key-points to taken care are commitment with work, awareness of situation, proper energy auditing and knowledge. This eventually led towards low carbon emission. © 2020 IEEE.

This paper deals with the problem of state estimation for a class of linear time-invariant systems with quadratic output measurements. An immersion-type approach is presented that transforms the system into a state-affine system by adding a finite number of states to the original system. Under suitable persistence of excitation conditions on the input and its higher derivatives, global state estimation is exhibited by means of a Kalman-type observer. A numerical example is provided to illustrate the applicability of the proposed observer design for the problem of position and velocity estimation for a vehicle navigating in the n— dimensional Euclidean space using a single position range measurement.
