CNN-based object detection models that strike a balance between performance and speed have been gradually used in polyp detection tasks. Nevertheless, accurately locating polyps within complex colonoscopy video scenes remains challenging since existing methods ignore two key issues: intra-sequence distribution heterogeneity and precision-confidence discrepancy. To address these challenges, we propose a novel Temporal-Spatial self-correction detector (TSdetector), which first integrates temporal-level consistency learning and spatial-level reliability learning to detect objects continuously. Technically, we first propose a global temporal-aware convolution, assembling the preceding information to dynamically guide the current convolution kernel to focus on global features between sequences. In addition, we designed a hierarchical queue integration mechanism to combine multi-temporal features through a progressive accumulation manner, fully leveraging contextual consistency information together with retaining long-sequence-dependency features. Meanwhile, at the spatial level, we advance a position-aware clustering to explore the spatial relationships among candidate boxes for recalibrating prediction confidence adaptively, thus eliminating redundant bounding boxes efficiently. The experimental results on three publicly available polyp video dataset show that TSdetector achieves the highest polyp detection rate and outperforms other state-of-the-art methods. Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) technologies represent a transformative approach to energy transmission, offering advantages over traditional wired systems such as convenience, flexibility, and reduced maintenance. This paper presents a comprehensive review of current advancements and future prospects in WPT. The review encompasses three primary technologies: electromagnetic induction, magnetic resonance, and microwave transmission, each offering unique benefits and challenges. Recent developments have significantly enhanced WPT efficiency, extended transmission distances, and enabled integration with emerging technologies like Internet of Things (IoT) devices and electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. Looking forward, the paper identifies several key research directions and challenges. These include improving efficiency through advanced materials and metamaterials, standardization efforts to promote interoperability and safety, and exploration of new applications such as wireless charging in smart cities and space-based applications. The potential impact of WPT on reducing reliance on fossil fuels and enabling sustainable energy practices underscores its importance in future energy landscapes. By synthesizing current knowledge and highlighting future opportunities, this study aims to guide researchers, engineers, and policymakers in accelerating the development and adoption of WPT technologies, paving the way for a moreefficient and interconnected energy ecosystem.

In this paper, we consider the optimization of federated learning (FL) over a realistic wireless multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication system with digital modulation and over-the-air computation (AirComp). In such a system, MIMO devices transmit their locally trained FL models to a parameter server (PS) using beamforming to maximize the number of devices scheduled for transmission. AirComp enables efficient wireless model aggregation by the PS in bandwidth-limited settings. However, wireless channel fading can produce distortions in AirComp-based FL. To tackle this challenge, we develop a novel aggregation scheme that combines digital modulation with AirComp to mitigate wireless fading while ensuring communication efficiency. We formulate this as a joint transmit-receive beamforming design optimization problem which dynamically adjusts the beamforming matrices to minimize the FL training loss with transmission errors. To solve this problem based on limited information at the PS, we employ an artificial neural network (ANN) to estimate the local FL models of all devices. Then, we derive a closed-form optimal design of the transmit and receive beamforming matrices based on predicted FL models. Numerical evaluations validate the advantages of the proposed methodology in terms of model training performance compared with baselines.

The dynamic nature of cyber threats demands that threat detection mechanisms be continuously improved in order to protect digital assets and infrastructures. In cybersecurity, this study investigates the use of machine learning (ML) algorithms for enhanced threat detection. This work intends to improve threat detection systems' accuracy, speed, and adaptability by utilizing ML algorithms' capabilities. The abstract begins by outlining the significance of machine learning in transforming traditional cybersecurity measures. It highlights the limitations of conventional signature-based methods, which often fail to detect novel and sophisticated threats. In contrast, ML-based approaches offer dynamic and proactive defenses capable of identifying previously unseen attack vectors. Furthermore, the paper delves into the practical implementation of ML models in real-world cybersecurity environments. It covers data collection and preprocessing techniques critical for training accurate and reliable models, as well as the challenges associated with maintaining and updating these models to adapt to evolving threat landscapes. The importance of feature selection and engineering in improving model performance is also emphasized. To validate the effectiveness of ML approaches, the study presents case studies and experimental results from various cybersecurity applications. The abstract concludes by addressing the future prospects and potential advancements in machine learning for cybersecurity. It discusses the role of emerging technologies, such as deep learning and federated learning, in enhancing threat detection capabilities. Additionally, it considers the ethical and privacy concerns associated with deploying ML models in cybersecurity and the need for robust governance frameworks. Zero-shot learning (ZSL) aims to classify objects that are not observed or seen during training. It relies on class semantic description to transfer knowledge from the seen classes to the unseen classes. Existing methods of obtaining class semantics include manual attributes or automatic word vectors from language models (like word2vec). We know attribute annotation is costly, whereas automatic word vectors are relatively noisy. To address this problem, we explore how ChatGPT, a large language model, can enhance class semantics for ZSL tasks. ChatGPT can be a helpful source to obtain text descriptions for each class containing related attributes and semantics. We use the word2vec model to get a word vector using the texts from ChatGPT. Then, we enrich word vectors by combining the word embeddings from class names and descriptions generated by ChatGPT. More specifically, we leverage ChatGPT to provide extra supervision for the class description, eventually benefiting ZSL models. We evaluate our approach on various 2D image (CUB and AwA) and 3D point cloud (ModelNet10, ModelNet40, and ScanObjectNN) datasets and show that it improves ZSL performance. Image Captioning (IC) has achieved astonishing developments by incorporating various techniques into the CNN-RNN encoder-decoder architecture. However, since CNN and RNN do not share the basic network component, such a heterogeneous pipeline is hard to be trained end-to-end where the visual encoder will not learn anything from the caption supervision. This drawback inspires the researchers to develop a homogeneous architecture that facilitates end-to-end training, for which Transformer is the perfect one that has proven its huge potential in both vision and language domains and thus can be used as the basic component of the visual encoder and language decoder in an IC pipeline. Meantime, self-supervised learning releases the power of the Transformer architecture that a pre-trained large-scale one can be generalized to various tasks including IC. The success of these large-scale models seems to weaken the importance of the single IC task. However, we demonstrate that IC still has its specific significance in this age by analyzing the connections between IC with some popular self-supervised learning paradigms. The development of Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems (ICPSs) in virtual network environment is facing severe challenges. On the one hand, the Internet of things (IoT) based on ICPSs construction needs a large amount of reasonable network resources support. On the other hand, ICPSs are facing severe network security problems. The integration of ICPSs and network virtualization (NV) can provide more efficient network resource support and security guarantees for IoT users. Based on the above two problems faced by ICPSs, we propose a virtual network embedded (VNE) algorithm with computing, storage resources and security constraints to ensure the rationality and security of resource allocation in ICPSs. In particular, we use reinforcement learning (RL) method as a means to improve algorithm performance. We extract the important attribute characteristics of underlying network as the training environment of RL agent. Agent can derive the optimal node embedding strategy through training, so as to meet the requirements of ICPSs for resource management and security. The embedding of virtual links is based on the breadth first search (BFS) strategy. Therefore, this is a comprehensive two-stage RL-VNE algorithm considering the constraints of computing, storage and security three-dimensional resources. Finally, we design a large number of simulation experiments from the perspective of typical indicators of VNE algorithms. This paper proposes a rumor control model based on community immunization. Based on the community division and the trust network inference algorithm, the model redefines the standard to measure the importance of nodes in the network. First, the model uses the Louvain clustering algorithm based on the Ochiai coefficient to discover the network community and then presents the trust network inference algorithm. By analyzing the key factors that affect trust transfer between nodes, the trust evaluation between unfamiliar nodes is inferred, and important nodes with a high degree of trust in the network community are calculated. Finally, combined with the characteristics of inner degree and outer degree centrality of nodes in the network community, five types of important nodes in the network are screened out. To avoid repeated selection of nodes, this paper identifies a group of key nodes in the network community for local immunization by means of deduplication and taking intersection, so as to realize effective control of rumors in the network.

By synergistically integrating mobile networks and embodied artificial intelligence (AI), Mobile Embodied AI Networks (MEANETs) represent an advanced paradigm that facilitates autonomous, context-aware, and interactive behaviors within dynamic environments. Nevertheless, the rapid development of MEANETs is accompanied by challenges in trustworthiness and operational efficiency. Fortunately, blockchain technology, with its decentralized and immutable characteristics, offers promising solutions for MEANETs. However, existing block propagation mechanisms suffer from challenges such as low propagation efficiency and weak security for block propagation, which results in delayed transmission of vehicular messages or vulnerability to malicious tampering, potentially causing severe traffic accidents in blockchain-enabled MEANETs. Moreover, current block propagation strategies cannot effectively adapt to real-time changes of dynamic topology in MEANETs. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a graph Resfusion model-based trustworthy block propagation optimization framework for consortium blockchain-enabled MEANETs. Specifically, we propose an innovative trust calculation mechanism based on the trust cloud model, which comprehensively accounts for randomness and fuzziness in the miner trust evaluation. Furthermore, by leveraging the strengths of graph neural networks and diffusion models, we develop a graph Resfusion model to effectively and adaptively generate the optimal block propagation trajectory. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed model outperforms other routing mechanisms in terms of block propagation efficiency and trustworthiness. Additionally, the results highlight its strong adaptability to dynamic environments, making it particularly suitable for rapidly changing MEANETs. Copyright © 2025, The Authors. All rights reserved.
