Influenza is a life-threatening disease mainly for an older population. Common causes of death in Influenza related complications are pneumonia, obstructive pulmonary disease, cardiorespiratory diseases, ischemic heart, and pneumonia. In the past few decades, the death count has increased due to Influenza. So, in this paper, we have tried to give brief detail about various types of Influenza viruses forwarded with different methods that can be used for detecting them. Along with this, a literature survey of varying work done in the field of detecting Influenza using Machine learning, Deep learning, and Artificial intelligence is covered. In other section of the paper, we have given comparative study of the same work done in section 3 that helps researchers in getting brief knowledge about available datasets, Artificial intelligence algorithms is used with their outcomes and limitations. The motive of overall study is giving brief knowledge about Influenza flu and role of Artificial intelligence in it. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper studies the fixed-time consensus tracking problem of nonlinear multi-agent systems, where communication links are subjected to denial-of-service (DoS) attacks. The DoS attacks make the communication networks switch arbitrarily and therefore the network connectivity may be broken, which poses a serious challenge to the consensus tracking problem within the fixed-time framework. To deal with this issue, a switching-based fixed-time control strategy is proposed. Critical conditions for fixed-time consensus tracking of nonlinear multi-agent systems under DoS attacks are developed. In particular, the adverse impact of DoS attacks on the settling time can be clearly reflected by the fixed-time strategy derived in this paper. Finally, numerical examples are provided to validate the theoretical analysis. © 2024 IEEE.

Accurate identification of plant diseases is important for ensuring the safety of agricultural *** neural networks(CNNs)and visual transformers(VTs)can extract effective representations of images and have been widely used for the intelligent recognition of plant disease ***,CNNs have excellent local perception with poor global perception,and VTs have excellent global perception with poor local *** makes it difficult to further improve the performance of both CNNs and VTs on plant disease recognition *** this paper,we propose a local and global feature-aware dual-branch network,named LGNet,for the identification of plant *** specifically,we first design a dual-branch structure based on CNNs and VTs to extract the local and global ***,an adaptive feature fusion(AFF)module is designed to fuse the local and global features,thus driving the model to dynamically perceive the weights of different ***,we design a hierarchical mixed-scale unit-guided feature fusion(HMUFF)module to mine the key information in the features at different levels and fuse the differentiated information among them,thereby enhancing the model's multiscale perception ***,extensive experiments were conducted on the Al Challenger 2018 dataset and the self-collected corn disease(SCD)*** experimental results demonstrate that our proposed LGNet achieves state-of-the-art recognition performance on both the Al Challenger 2018 dataset and the SCD dataset,with accuracies of 88.74％and 99.08％,respectively.

Aspect-based sentiment analysis (ABSA) performs fine-grained analysis on text to determine a specific aspect category and a sentiment polarity. Recently, machine learning models have played a key role in ABSA tasks. In particular, transformer-based pre-trained models have achieved promising results in natural language processing tasks. Therefore, we propose a permutation based XLNet fine-tuning model for aspect category detection and sentiment polarity detection. Our model learns bidirectional contexts via positional encoding and factorization order. We evaluate the proposed permutation language model on three ABSA datasets, namely, SentiHood, SemEval 2015, and SemEval 2016. Specifically, we studied the ABSA tasks in a constrained system with a multi-class environment. Our result indicates that the proposed permutation language model achieves a better result. © 2025 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

Iris recognition algorithms are becoming more and more widely used in daily life, and the accuracy requirements for iris recognition algorithms are getting higher and higher. Therefore, in this paper, an improved Shufflenetv2 algorithm is proposed as a way to improve the speed and accuracy of current iris recognition algorithms in daily life. In this paper, deep and shallow features are filtered by using the channel attention mechanism, which enables the model to acquire feature representations of both underlying and high-level semantics. In addition, in the loss function, this paper uses the focal loss function instead of the cross entropy loss function to achieve a solution to the imbalance between the number of positive and negative samples and prevent too much learning to negative sample features. By validating on the CASIA-Iris-Thousand dataset, which is commonly used in iris recognition tasks, the proposed model achieves an equal error rate (EER) of 1.66% compared to the Shufflenetv2 model, which has an EER of 5.3%, and optimizes by 3.64%. The model proposed in this paper can effectively improve the accuracy of iris recognition. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper provides a novel method for enhancing mobility and independence for people with disabilities via integrating Brain-pc interface (BCI) generation with artificial intelligence (AI) for vehicle control. The proposed device permits customers to control important vehicle features which includes steerage, braking, and acceleration the usage of their Brain indicators, captured through non-invasive EEG sensors. One of the most important aspects of environmental sustainability is water quality monitoring. The ecology is impacted by poor water quality in addition to aquatic life. With the volume of data being collected from satellite systems, the issue of effectively and automatically extracting water bodies is growing more pressing. One of the most important things to do for managing and safeguarding water resources is to conduct extensive monitoring of water quality parameters, or WQPs. It is still difficult to monitor optically inactive WQPs in inland waters, such as total nitrogen (TN), ammoniacal nitrogen (AN), and total phosphorus (TP). Water quality (WQ) classification and prediction can be greatly enhanced with the use of artificial intelligence (AI). This research proposes novel method in healthcare detection by water quality analysis based on classification utilising ML model. Input is collected as healthcare dataset based on water quality as well as processed for noise removal and normalisation. The processed data features are extracted and classified utilising reinforcement Gaussian stacked layer network with variational fuzzy Markov basis neural network. In order to suggest best course of action for the water bodies, it is imperative that any study look into the spatiotemporal changes of the dominant water quality parameters (WQPs). WQP concentrations have typically been determined by extensive fieldwork. These findings could help identify and regulate non-point source pollution, offer a large-scale spatial picture of the water quality, and pinpoint vulnerable locations and times of water pollution. Experimental analysis is carried out for various water sample dataset in terms of detection accuracy, mean precision, recall, F-1 score and AUC. The proposed technique obtained 97% of detection accuracy, 95% of recall, 91% of F-1 score, 96% of AUC, and 94% of MAP. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

Pulsar search is always the basis of pulsar navigation,gravitational wave detection and other research ***,the volume of pulsar candidates collected by the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST)shows an explosive growth rate that has brought challenges for its pulsar candidate filtering ***,the multi-view heterogeneous data and class imbalance between true pulsars and non-pulsar candidates have negative effects on traditional single-modal supervised classification *** this study,a multi-modal and semi-supervised learning based on a pulsar candidate sifting algorithm is presented,which adopts a hybrid ensemble clustering scheme of density-based and partition-based methods combined with a feature-level fusion strategy for input data and a data partition strategy for *** on both High Time Resolution Universe SurveyⅡ(HTRU2)and actual FAST observation data demonstrate that the proposed algorithm could excellently identify pulsars:On HTRU2,the precision and recall rates of its parallel mode reach0.981 and 0.988 *** FAST data,those of its parallel mode reach 0.891 and 0.961,meanwhile,the running time also significantly decreases with the increment of parallel nodes within ***,we can conclude that our algorithm could be a feasible idea for large scale pulsar candidate sifting for FAST drift scan observation.

Precise detection of wheat ears is essential for agricultural yield assessment and breeding research. Current object detection technologies still face issues with insufficient accuracy and low detection efficiency when dealing with small targets like wheat ears. To address these issues, this study proposes an improved RT-DETR: CSR-DETR. CSR-DETR integrates CBAM and ScConv into the main network to enhance feature extraction capabilities, and then replaces the Conv module in CCFM with RFCAConv to further improve feature fusion effects. Finally, CSR-DETR is compared with RT-DETR on two wheat ear datasets of varying sizes. The results show that the improved model achieved an mAP of 83.2 % on a dataset of 2690 wheat ear images, an increase of 1.4 percentage points from the original model;and an mAP of 92.4% on a dataset of 6500 wheat ear images, an increase of 1.2 percentage points from the original model. © 2024 IEEE.

With the increasing water shortage and climatic uncertainty, creative strategies for effective water management in agriculture are necessary. This research investigates the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), with solar-powered Internet of Things (IoT) networks to enhance water utilization in agricultural activities. The proposed system facilitates accurate irrigation scheduling using real-time data from soil moisture sensors, meteorological stations, and crop health monitoring devices. The ANN model analyses this data to predict ideal irrigation schedules and volumes, minimizing water waste while improving crop yields. The solar-powered IoT framework provides sustainability and reduces dependence on traditional energy sources. Field trials indicate that the AI-enhanced system may promote water saving by as much as 30% relative to traditional irrigation techniques. Moreover, using AI enables adaptive learning, enabling the system to enhance its irrigation tactics using historical and real-time data. This novel method conserves water resources and fosters sustainable agriculture practices, coinciding with global initiatives to address water shortages and assure food security. The findings underscore the potential of technology-based solutions to revolutionize agricultural water management for a sustainable future. © 2025 IEEE.
