Cloud computing is a technology that allows the utilisation of a vast network of computers that are distributed and run in parallel with one another. The management of the multimedia files presents challenges and the significant of which is the prevalence of attackers and users with malicious intent. This article presents the conceptual foundation for a four-tiered data security paradigm that can be implemented in cloud computing. The proposed framework employs a DNA-computing-based password or secret key with a length of 1024 bits for the purpose of encrypting the user private multimedia file or correspondence. The DNABMS algorithm is applied in the cryptographic generation of digital identities as well as pseudorandom number generators. The results of the testing that was done on the model have validated both its reliability and its efficacy, demonstrating that the model that was developed is both reliable and effective. Experiments have demonstrated that the developed method is superior to other well-known existing strategies in terms of both effectiveness and efficiency. © 2023 IEEE.

NeuroProbe: A Performance Profiling Feed Forward Neural Network Simulator for Hardware Interaction Analysis

NeuroProbe is a simple neural network simulator designed by authors specifically for educational purposes focusing on simulating inference phase on a computationally capable embedded hardware, aiming to provide a deeper understanding of hardware interactions and performance improvement. This simulator incorporates performance profiling capabilities, allowing students and educators to analyze and optimize the performance of a simulated trained neural network. By simulating the intricate hardware interactions, NeuroProbe enables users to gain insights into how various components impact the overall performance of neural networks. Using this simulator, learners can experiment with different configurations and architectures, identify potential bottlenecks, and explore optimization strategies to enhance neural network performance before deploying the model on an Edge Computing environment. It also enriches computer science education by enabling learners to gain deeper insights into hardware interactions and performance improvement. By identifying performance bottlenecks, learners can refine their understanding of neural networks and develop skills in optimizing their models for enhanced performance. In conclusion, NeuroProbe empowers users to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation of neural network on an embedded device, fostering a more comprehensive understanding of neural networks and their hardware requirements. Currently, it is focused solely on single-threaded CPU-based computation enabling SSE, AVX. At present, NeuroProbe does not support SIMD extensions such as AVX-FMA, AVX-512, multi-threaded computation, and accelerators such as NPU, TPU, and GPU. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

This paper focuses on the dilemma faced by largescale multi-agent systems. With the increase of agent size, the policy search space grows exponentially, reaching the task complexity that is difficult for the current mainstream multiagent algorithms to deal with, so that the optimal strategy is converged in large-scale multi-agent systems. In order to make the learning process of large-scale multi-agent tasks more smooth, many researchers have introduced the method of course learning, setting the scale from small to large courses, compared with learning training from scratch, this way can continue to inherit the knowledge learned in the smaller scale tasks, making the training smoother. However, in order to realize the multiagent course learning from small to large scale, we face the following difficulties. First, the neural network structure we designed can adapt to the observation input of agents of different scales, rather than only applicable to a fixed scale. Second, in the multi-stage course learning, due to the network's inefficient representation of multi-agent systems, the knowledge learned in small-scale courses cannot be effectively utilized in large-scale courses, and even the problem of catastrophic forgetting occurs in the neural network. Specifically, we view multi-agent systems from a graph perspective and derive the Graph Decomposition Invariant (GDI) for the first time. We prove that neural network architectures satisfying the GDI are of great help in realizing efficient course learning. We design a model architecture called GDI model suitable for multi-agent curriculum learning, which satisfies the graph decomposition invariant proposed by us. Finally, we designed small-scale to large-scale multi-agent tasks on two experimental platforms, StarCraft and Neural MMO, and conducted a large number of comparative experiments, which verified that our proposed GDI model has a great promotion effect on course learning. © 2024 IEEE.

Action Instruction Generation (AIG) is a key step in semantic-driven action sequence generation, which aims to embed text instructions describing specific actions into the driving text. AIG is a challenging task that requires accurately understanding the potential action semantics contained in the driving text. Besides, the challenge is exacerbated by the lack of paired text-action instructions data. To address these challenges and motivated by the powerful capabilities of LLMs in text generation, we propose AIGLLM, a novel AIG framework with visually enhanced Large Language Model (LLM). Specifically, we perform low-rank adaptation (LoRA) on the off-the-shelf LLM to enable the model understand action semantics and generate action instructions at appropriate positions within the original text sequence. Particularly, to address the current lack of data that can be used to fine-tune LLMs for AIG, we construct a dataset containing 12,000 text-action instruction pairs and 15,000 image-action instruction pairs. Subsequently, a visual module is designed to enable the LLM to learn action knowledge from external visual signals of actions, thereby enhancing the model's understanding of action semantics. Finally, we conduct extensive experiments, where the experimental results and evaluations demonstrate that our method has an impressive key benefit: improved accurate action instruction embedding. © 2024 IEEE.

Adam has become one of the most favored optimizers in deep learning problems. Despite its success in practice, numerous mysteries persist regarding its theoretical understanding. In this paper, we study the implicit bias of Adam in linear logistic regression. Specifically, we show that when the training data are linearly separable, the iterates of Adam converge towards a linear classifier that achieves the maximum ∞-margin in direction. Notably, for a general class of diminishing learning rates, this convergence occurs within polynomial time. Our result shed light on the difference between Adam and (stochastic) gradient descent from a theoretical perspective. © 2024 Neural information processing systems foundation. All rights reserved.

Generation With Nuanced Changes: Continuous Image-to-Image Translation With Adversarial Preferences

Most previous methods for continuous image-to-image translation resorted to binary attributes with restrictive description ability and thus cannot achieve satisfactory performance. Some works proposed to use fine-grained semantic information, relative attributes (RAs), preferences over pairs of images on the strength of a specified attribute. However, they still failed to reconcile both goals for smooth translation and for high-quality generation simultaneously. In this work, we propose a new model continuous translation via adversarial preferences (CTAP) to coordinate these two goals for high-quality continuous translation based on RAs. In CTAP, we simultaneously train two modules: a generator that translates an input image to the desired image with smooth nuanced changes w.r.t. the interested attributes;and a ranker that executes adversarial preferences consisting of the input image and the desired image. Particularly, adversarial preferences involve an adversarial ranking process: 1) the ranker thinks no difference between the desired image and the input image in terms of the interested attributes;2) the generator fools the ranker to believe the attributes of its output image changes as expect compared with the input image. RAs over pairs of real images are introduced to guide the ranker to rank image pairs regarding the interested attributes only. With an effective ranker, the generator would "win"the adversarial game by producing high-quality images that present smooth changes. The experiments on two face datasets and one shoe dataset demonstrate that our CTAP achieves state-of-art results in generating high-fidelity images which exhibit smooth changes over the interested attributes. © 2024 IEEE.

Under the wave of digital transformation, remote collaboration has become the new normal in the daily operation of enterprises. But at the same time, the risk of sensitive data leakage and the insufficiency of protection measures have increasingly become the focus of attention, posing a severe challenge to enterprise data security. To address this challenge, this paper proposes an innovative comprehensive data leakage prevention technical solution. This solution integrates cloud services and kernel technology and creates a set of data security protection systems for the remote collaboration working environment. This technical solution adopts a series of effective technical means, including asymmetric encryption, one-way data flow control, dynamic digital watermarking technology, injection attack defense, and program anti-hanging mechanism, significantly enhancing the security of data in the collaborative office system. The constructed framework includes multiple modules such as user management, service support, kernel driver, and user terminal. This technical solution can be integrated with enterprise remote collaboration office software, providing a higher level of security guarantee for the remote office environment, effectively curbing the risk of sensitive data leakage, and also providing solid technical support for the healthy and stable development of remote collaboration work. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Facial beauty analysis is an important topic in human *** may be used as a guidance for face beautification applications such as cosmetic *** neural networks(DNNs)have recently been adopted for facial beauty analysis and have achieved remarkable ***,most existing DNN-based models regard facial beauty analysis as a normal classification *** ignore important prior knowledge in traditional machine learning models which illustrate the significant contribution of the geometric features in facial beauty *** be specific,landmarks of the whole face and facial organs are introduced to extract geometric features to make the *** by this,we introduce a novel dual-branch network for facial beauty analysis:one branch takes the Swin Transformer as the backbone to model the full face and global patterns,and another branch focuses on the masked facial organs with the residual network to model the local patterns of certain facial ***,the designed multi-scale feature fusion module can further facilitate our network to learn complementary semantic information between the two *** model optimisation,we propose a hybrid loss function,where especially geometric regulation is introduced by regressing the facial landmarks and it can force the extracted features to convey facial geometric *** performed on the SCUT-FBP5500 dataset and the SCUT-FBP dataset demonstrate that our model outperforms the state-of-the-art convolutional neural networks models,which proves the effectiveness of the proposed geometric regularisation and dual-branch structure with the hybrid *** the best of our knowledge,this is the first study to introduce a Vision Transformer into the facial beauty analysis task.

Answering reachability queries with ordered label constraints over labeled graphs

Reachability query plays a vital role in many graph analysis *** researches proposed many methods to efficiently answer reachability queries between vertex *** many real graphs are labeled graph,it highly demands Label-Constrained Reachability(LCR)query inwhich constraint includes a set of labels besides vertex *** researches proposed several methods for answering some LCR queries which require appearance of some labels specified in constraints in the *** that constraint may be a label set,query constraint may be ordered labels,namely OLCR(Ordered-Label-Constrained Reachability)queries which retrieve paths matching a sequence of ***,no solutions are available for ***,we propose DHL,a novel bloom filter based indexing technique for answering OLCR *** can be used to check reachability between vertex *** the answers are not no,then constrained DFS is ***,we employ DHL followed by performing constrained DFS to answer OLCR *** show that DHL has a bounded false positive rate,and it's powerful in saving indexing time and *** experiments on 10 real-life graphs and 12 synthetic graphs demonstrate that DHL achieves about 4.8-22.5 times smaller index space and 4.6-114 times less index construction time than two state-of-art techniques for LCR queries,while achieving comparable query response *** results also show that our algorithm can answer OLCR queries effectively.

In this study, we created an Intelligent Geospatial Platform called GeoBeeDashboard. The GeoBeeDashboard combines advanced geospatial technologies and artificial intelligence (AI), allowing real-time data visualization and optimized decision-making across multiple sectors. The system architecture consists of a ***-based front end, a FastAPI-driven back end, and PostGIS for geospatial data management. One of the GeoBeeDashboard's primary use cases is addressing waste management issues in Tangerang City, Indonesia. As rapid urbanization increases waste generation, effective management becomes critical. The dashboard identifies critical trends and inefficiencies in Tangerang's districts by K-Means clustering waste management data from 2020 to 2023. Our findings identify distinct clusters, highlighting areas with effective waste management and those that require targeted interventions. The benefits that local government can get from GeoBeeDashboard by utilising insights based on clustering analysis of data per each district in Tangerang to optimise waste collection, allocate resources efficiently, and improve the policy-making process for each district in Tangerang. The GeoBeeDashboard improves local government capabilities by providing a scalable model for other cities facing similar urban challenges. In conclusion, GeoBeeDashboard provides local governments with a powerful tool for addressing waste management inefficiencies and fostering sustainable urban development. © 2024 IEEE.
