NCCMF:Non-Collaborative Continuous Monitoring Framework for Container-Based Cloud Runtime Status

The security performance of cloud services is a key factor influencing users’selection of Cloud Service Providers(CSPs).Continuous monitoring of the security status of cloud services is ***,existing research lacks a practical framework for such ongoing *** address this gap,this paper proposes the first NonCollaborative Container-Based Cloud Service Operation State Continuous Monitoring Framework(NCCMF),based on relevant *** operates without the CSP’s collaboration by:1)establishing a scalable supervisory index system through the identification of security responsibilities for each role,and 2)designing a Continuous Metrics Supervision Protocol(CMA)to automate the negotiation of supervisory *** framework also outlines the supervision process for cloud services across different deployment *** results demonstrate that NCCMF effectively monitors the operational state of two real-world IoT(Internet of Things)cloud services,with an average supervision error of less than 15%.

Accurately diagnosing Alzheimer's disease is essential for improving elderly ***,accurate prediction of the mini-mental state examination score also can measure cognition impairment and track the progression of Alzheimer's ***,most of the existing methods perform Alzheimer's disease diagnosis and mini-mental state examination score prediction separately and ignore the relation between these two *** address this challenging problem,we propose a novel multi-task learning method,which uses feature interaction to explore the relationship between Alzheimer's disease diagnosis and minimental state examination score *** our proposed method,features from each task branch are firstly decoupled into candidate and non-candidate parts for ***,we propose feature sharing module to obtain shared features from candidate features and return shared features to task branches,which can promote the learning of each *** validate the effectiveness of our proposed method on multiple *** Alzheimer's disease neuroimaging initiative 1 dataset,the accuracy in diagnosis task and the root mean squared error in prediction task of our proposed method is 87.86%and 2.5,*** results show that our proposed method outperforms most state-of-the-art *** proposed method enables accurate Alzheimer's disease diagnosis and mini-mental state examination score ***,it can be used as a reference for the clinical diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease,and can also help doctors and patients track disease progression in a timely manner.

Recently,object detection based on convolutional neural networks(CNNs)has developed *** backbone networks for basic feature extraction are an important component of the whole detection ***,we present a new feature extraction strategy in this paper,which name is *** this strategy,we design:1)a sandwich attention feature fusion module(SAFF module).Its purpose is to enhance the semantic information of shallow features and resolution of deep features,which is beneficial to small object detection after feature fusion.2)to add a new stage called D-block to alleviate the disadvantages of decreasing spatial resolution when the pooling layer increases the receptive *** method proposed in the new stage replaces the original method of obtaining the P6 feature map and uses the result as the input of the regional proposal network(RPN).In the experimental phase,we use the new strategy to extract *** experiment takes the public dataset of Microsoft Common Objects in Context(MS COCO)object detection and the dataset of Corona Virus Disease 2019(COVID-19)image classification as the experimental object *** results show that the average recognition accuracy of COVID-19 in the classification dataset is improved to 98.163%,and small object detection in object detection tasks is improved by 4.0%.

Secure Consumer-Centric Demand Response Management in Resilient Smart Grid as Industry 5.0 Application with Blockchain-Based Authentication

The development of the industrial Internet of Things and smart grid networks has emphasized the importance of secure smart grid communication for the future of electric power transmission. However, the current deployment of smart meters and wireless communication methods presents several security concerns that must be addressed to ensure sustainable and resilient smart grid networks for Industry 5.0, with a focus on consumer-centric technologies. In this context, we propose a privacy-focused authentication solution for secure consumer-centric demand response management in smart grid networks, incorporating consumer electronics. Our proposed protocol utilizes blockchain-based authentication to enhance resistance against potential attacks and ensure the integrity of demand response data. Additionally, we have incorporated a PUF to prevent physical attacks. We have conducted informal and formal security analyses to verify the effectiveness of our proposed protocol against various threats and to confirm the session key security. Our comparison study has demonstrated that our protocol provides superior security and added functionalities, with lower computation and communication costs compared to similar protocols. Furthermore, we have measured the computational time for implementing the blockchain component of our protocol while considering the impact of varying numbers of block additions and transactions per block. © 1975-2011 IEEE.

Clustering analysis for Pythagorean fuzzy sets and its application in multiple attribute decision making

Pythagorean fuzzy sets, as a generalization of intuitionistic fuzzy sets, have a wide range of applications in many fields including image recognition, data mining, decision making, etc. However, there is little research on clustering algorithms of Pythagorean fuzzy sets. In this paper, a novel clustering idea under Pythagorean fuzzy environment is presented. Firstly, the concept of feature vector of Pythagorean fuzzy number (PFN) is presented by taking into account five parameters of PFN, and some new methods to compute the similarity measure of PFNs by applying the feature vector are proposed. Furthermore, a fuzzy similarity matrix by utilizing similarity measure of PFNs is established. Later, the fuzzy similarity matrix is transformed into a fuzzy equivalent matrix which is utilized to establish a novel Pythagorean fuzzy clustering algorithm. Based on the proposed clustering algorithm, a novel multiple attribute decision making (MADM) method under Pythagorean fuzzy environment is presented. To illustrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed technique, an application example is offered. © 2024 – IOS Press. All rights reserved.

The rapid growth of mobile applications,the popularity of the Android system and its openness have attracted many hackers and even criminals,who are creating lots of Android ***,the current methods of Android malware detection need a lot of time in the feature engineering ***,these models have the defects of low detection rate,high complexity,and poor practicability,*** analyze the Android malware samples,and the distribution of malware and benign software in application programming interface(API)calls,permissions,and other *** classify the software’s threat levels based on the correlation of ***,we propose deep neural networks and convolutional neural networks with ensemble learning(DCEL),a new classifier fusion model for Android malware ***,DCEL preprocesses the malware data to remove redundant data,and converts the one-dimensional data into a two-dimensional gray ***,the ensemble learning approach is used to combine the deep neural network with the convolutional neural network,and the final classification results are obtained by voting on the prediction of each single *** based on the Drebin and Malgenome datasets show that compared with current state-of-art models,the proposed DCEL has a higher detection rate,higher recall rate,and lower computational cost.

Network topology planning is an essential multi-phase process to build and jointly optimize the multi-layer network topologies in wide-area networks (WANs). Most existing practices target single-phase/layer planning, and are incapable of satisfying all rigorous topological structure constraints (e.g., dual-homing rings) defined by network standards and operators, especially in large-scale networks. These significantly limit their usability and performance in production networks. We consider a general topology planning problem with typical structure constraints over three essential phases (greenfield, reconfiguration, and site expansion) and topological layers (optical, IP, and routing topologies). We present, T3Planner, a novel practical solver to this problem in production. Specifically, we develop a structure-driven encoder based on graph neural network (GNN) for concise structure encoding, and design a new learning framework with optical-centric layer compression/reconstruction and rule-aided reinforcement learning (RL) for fast convergence and high performance. Extensive experiments on nine real topologies demonstrate that T3Planner scales to large optical networks with hundreds of sites, saves 46.6% cost, and supports 3.12x more demand when compared to related existing approaches. © 1983-2012 IEEE.

Finger joint stiffness assessment is very important in quantifying the degree of disability in stroke patients and determining rehabilitation strategies and plans. However, the evaluation methods used in clinical practice rely heavily on the experience of clinicians. In our previous study, we adapted an analytical model originally proposed for a whole-finger soft actuator to objectively quantify joint stiffness by using a new type of joint modular soft actuator designed for individualized hand rehabilitation. However, stiffness could not be accurately estimated owing to the effects of the interaction between joint modular soft actuators and a finger, as well as, between the actuators themselves, which could not be represented by the adapted analytical model. In this study, artificial neural network (ANN)-based models were proposed to simultaneously quantify the stiffness of three joints using joint modular soft actuators and compared with the adapted analytical model and other machine-learning (ML)-based models. Moreover, the estimation performance was verified for high stiffness values and different finger sizes. The results show that the ANN-based models estimate stiffness more stably and accurately than the adapted analytical and other ML-based models. This study shows the feasibility of quantitative evaluation of joint stiffness using joint modular soft actuators. © 2016 IEEE.
