Distributed Step-by-step Finite-time Consensus Design for Battery Energy Storage Devices with Droop Control

As all generators are distributed in different areas among large scale power systems,the cooperative manipulation of the multi-generator system cannot operate well without consideration of the distance information of the generators.A distributed step-by-step finite-time consensus scheme for the heterogeneous battery energy storage system(BESS)is proposed in this paper,where the coordinated consensus can come into reality within a limited time,which is appealing for the electrical engineering *** be concrete,at first,all BESSs are classified into several clusters according to their locations,and in each cluster,there is an active leader in charge of information receiving from ***,in order to coordinate the multi BESSs,five inputs,which are function oriented,were used to achieve energy level balancing,active/reactive power sharing,and the consensus of voltage and frequency of the multi ***,the frequency and voltage restoration to the nominal values of the main grid were made possible by the introduction of a virtual leader,which is actually an external *** with the centralized methods,this control scheme is entirely distributed,and each BESS only utilizes the information of its own and its *** addition,this control is robust to the load perturbation and the plug-and-play of the communication ***,some simulation experiments are executed on the modified IEEE 57-bus system to verify the suggested scheme.

Observer design and interval estimation of time-delay discrete-time linear systems with external disturbance and measurement noise

For a class of time-delay discrete-time linear systems with external disturbance and measurement noise, the interval estimation problems of state and measurement noise are investigated in this paper. First, the system state together with the time-delay term and measurement noise is augmented as a new state, and a singular system is then constructed. Subsequently, a kind of decoupling technique is employed to eliminate the effect of external disturbance, and an observer is designed to simultaneously estimate the system state and measurement noise. Based on the estimated state and measurement noise, the interval estimations of system state and measurement noise are obtained by reachability analysis technique. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by a four-tank liquid level system.

This article mainly investigates the fuzzy optimization robust control issue for nonlinear networked systems characterized by the interval type-2(IT2)fuzzy technique under a differential evolution *** provide a more reasonable utilization of the constrained communication channel,a novel adaptive memory event-triggered(AMET)mechanism is developed,where two event-triggered thresholds can be dynamically adjusted in the light of the current system information and the transmitted historical *** conditions with less conservative design of the fuzzy imperfect premise matching(IPM)controller are presented by introducing the Wirtinger-based integral inequality,the information of membership functions(MFs)and slack ***,under the IPM policy,a new MFs intelligent optimization technique that takes advantage of the differential evolution algorithm is first provided for IT2 TakagiSugeno(T-S)fuzzy systems to update the fuzzy controller MFs in real-time and achieve a better system control ***,simulation results demonstrate that the proposed control scheme can obtain better system performance in the case of using fewer communication resources.

Research on load state prediction model of electric vehicle lithium battery based on Kalman filter algorithm

The monitoring and protection of the power core lithium battery of electric vehicles is closely related to whether the lithium battery can output energy efficiently. To predict the charging state of lithium batteries, this study determined the online identification method, namely Recursive Least Square Method with Forcing Fact (FRLS), for model parameters based on the equivalent circuit model of lithium batteries, namely Thevenin. The overall prediction error of SVD-UKF is lower than that of Adaptive Extended Kalman Filter (AEKF) and Iterative Extended Kalman Filter (IEKF), which are about 20% and 30%, respectively. FRLS&Singular Value Decomposition-Unscented Kalman Filter (FRLS&SVD-UKF) has low prediction error of lithium battery load state under the same working condition and temperature, and the prediction error of lithium battery load state under the same working condition shows a gradually increasing trend with the increase of temperature. The FRLS&SVD-UKF joint prediction model can accurately predict the load state of lithium battery in electric vehicles in real time, and can improve the recycling performance of lithium battery. Control With Fault Detection Of The DC Microgrids Using SDRE-Controller-Observer

In the present work, using the State-Dependent Riccati Equation approach, the optimal optimizer-controller is designed for a small DC network isolated from the network. The objectives are to control the output voltage of the solar cell, as well as output voltages of the battery, the capacitor bank and the DC busbar, and to detect possible faults in a timely manner. In the State-Dependent Riccati Equation observer–controller design process, a non-linear model is used for modeling the dynamic behavior of the microgrid in different operating conditions. The efficiency of the studied microgrid has been assessed in the presence of uncertainty in system parameters and measurement noise. The results of the simulations show the ability of the suggested approach to detect faults in a timely manner, not to recognize the disturbance as a fault, as well as the effective and resistant performance of the progressive controller even in the disturbance presence. Quantitatively, the proposed fault detection method was able to generate non-zero residual current in the presence of faults, allowing for fault detection by defining an appropriate threshold. The threshold used in the study was 50. Additionally, the fault detection system was able to avoid misdiagnosis of disturbances as faults. © The Author(’s).

In view of the influence of aliasing noise on the effectiveness and accuracy of bearing fault diagnosis,a bearing fault diagnosis algorithm based on the spatial decoupling method of modified kernel principal component analysis(MKPCA)and the residual network with deformable convolution(DC‐ResNet)is innovatively ***,the Gaussian noise with different signal‐to‐noise ratios(SNRs)is added to the data to simulate the different degrees of noise in the actual data acquisition *** MKPCA is used to project the fault signal with different SNRs in the kernel space to reduce the data dimension and eliminate some noise ***,the DC‐ResNet model is used to further filter the noise effects and fully extract the fault features through the training of the preprocessed *** proposed algorithm is tested on the Case Western Reserve University(CWRU)and Xi'an Jiaotong University and Changxing Sumyoung Technology Co.,Ltd.(XJTU‐SY)bearing data sets with different SNR *** fault diagnosis accuracy can reach 100%within 30 min,which has better performance than most of the existing *** experimental results show that the algorithm has an excellent effect on accuracy and computation complexity under different noise levels.

K-Corruption Intermittent Attacks for Violating the Codiagnosability

In this work, we address the codiagnosability analysis problem of a networked discrete event system under malicious attacks. The considered system is modeled by a labeled Petri net and is monitored by a series of sites, in which each site possesses its own set of sensors, without requiring communication among sites or to any coordinators. A net is said to be codiagnosable with respect to a fault if at least one site could deduce the occurrence of this fault within finite steps. In this context, we focus on a type of malicious attack that is called stealthy intermittent replacement attack. The stealthiness demands that the corrupted observations should be consistent with the system's normal behavior, while the intermittent replacement setting entails that the replaced transition labels must be recovered within a bounded of consecutive corrupted observations(called as K-corruption intermittent attack). Particularly, there exists a coordination between attackers that are separately effected on different sites, which holds the same corrupted observation for each common transition under attacks. From an attacker viewpoint, this work aims to design Kcorruption intermittent attacks for violating the codiagnosability of systems. For this purpose, we propose an attack automaton to analyze K-corruption intermittent attack for each site, and build a new structure called complete attack graph that is used to analyze all the potential attacked paths. Finally, an algorithm is inferred to obtain the K-corruption intermittent attacks, and examples are given to show the proposed attack strategy.

With the increasing integration of distributed energy sources into the grid, VPP has garnered widespread attention as a distributed energy management technology due to their flexibility, efficiency, and sustainability. This attention stems from the need to address the growing scarcity of fossil fuels and the array of threats posed by global climate change. Furthermore, the pursuit of a 'dual-carbon' goal has led to a rising proportion of renewable energy sources, such as wind power and photovoltaic energy, being connected to the power grid. The unpredictable and uncontrollable characteristics of renewable energy power generation, combined with its dispersed access points, have intensified the difficulty of maintaining the secure and reliable operation of the power system. The emergence of virtual power plant (VPP) offers a promising resolution to these challenges. This paper delivers an extensive examination of VPP, covering their fundamental principles, structures and classifications. Furthermore, it systematically reviews the present research status of VPP. Finally, it delineates the future development prospects of VPP, while also acknowledging the potential challenges that may emerge in the coming years. © 2024 IEEE.

Hydraulic support pillar pressure prediction has been a pivotal basis for decision-making during the mining process. It has been one of the fundamental pieces of information for ensuring the stability of the surrounding rock. However, the pressure of hydraulic support pillars follows specific patterns;it cannot be predicted using simple mathematical models. Additionally, during the mining process, issues such as the support attaching and detaching the roof, roof fragmentation, and sensor detection errors introduce a significant amount of random perturbance, turning the pressure data into a non-stationary time series. Non-stationarity significantly complicates the pressure prediction. Based on the Transformer model, this paper proposes an EMD-Transformer model. Empirical mode decomposition aims to decompose non-linear non-stationary data pressure data into intrinsic mode functions, and the transformer model establishes detailed correlations of all components and projects predicted components. The aggregate sum of predicted components gives pressure prediction. Comparative experiments on a real coal mine support pillar dataset showed that the EMD-Transformer model proposed in this paper achieved notably improved performance on all prediction lengths compared to LSTM and vanilla Transformer model. © 2024 IEEE.
