This paper describes an iterative learning identification law for singular nonlinear systems based on vector plot analysis. Firstly, a new recognition learning law based on vector plot analysis is proposed for such systems running in finite time intervals, which is used to iteratively analyze time-varying system parameters. Secondly, through the contraction mapping principle, the learning convergence of identifier errors under the λ-norm along the iteration axis is illustrated. Finally, numerical simulations are conducted to verify the efficiency of the proposed vector plot-based iterative learning identification law. © 2024 IEEE.

This article studies prescribed finite time control (PFTC) subject for a class of second-order nonlinear singularly perturbed systems (SPSs). An adaptive prescribed finite time stability strategy based on neural network (NN) is designed for SPSs. The key to successfully designing this strategy lies in introducing a crucial coordinate transformation during design procedures of the controller. This strategy not only ensures stability of the system but also guarantees that the convergence time of the system neither depends on the initial conditions nor on the design parameters. Meanwhile, this designed strategy is not based on a finite time interval, but rather on an infinite time interval. In the end, a simulation example is given to confirm benefits of designed strategy. © 2024 IEEE.

Fruit ripeness evaluation is essential for harvest optimization and post-harvest loss prevention. Traditional visual inspection is inefficient. This study employs sensor fusion and AI algorithms to evaluate fruit maturity in real-time using gas sensors (i.e., MQ-3, MQ-6, MQ-8, MQ-135) and Near-Infrared spectral sensors (i.e., GY-AS7263). Primarily, data pro-cessing-sensor fusion, data preparation, and AI model application-is crucial to the proposed framework. Subsequently, sensor fusion approaches improve data accuracy by combining signals from various sensors. Secondly, data pretreatment techniques including noise reduction, normalization, and feature extraction prepare data for analysis. Thirdly, we use powerful machine learning algorithms such as Random Forest to judge maturity more accurately and reliably than conventional techniques. Lastly, integrating NIR spectroscopy with gas sensor data resolves cost and model transferability issues, enhancing accuracy and acces-sibility for agricultural use. Static image processing techniques provide challenges for real-time applications, including expensive computer costs and lower reliability. The proposed framework based on multi-sensor fusion system enhances agricultural applications' versatility, scalability, and reactivity, surpassing existing methodologies. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper studies the problem of fixed-time output consensus tracking for high-order multi-agent systems(MASs)with directed network topology with consideration of data packet ***,a predictive compensation based distributed observer is presented to compensate for packet dropout and estimate the leader’s ***,stability analysis is conducted to prove fixed time convergence of the developed distributed ***,adaptive fixed-time dynamic surface control is designed to counteract mismatched disturbances introduced by observation error,and stabilize the tracking error system within a fixed time,which overcomes explosion of complexity problem and singularity ***,simulation results are provided to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the consensus tracking strategy *** contribution of this paper is to provide a fixed-time distributed observer design method for high-order MAS under directed graph subject to packet dropout,and a novel fixed-time control strategy which can handle mismatched disturbances and overcome explosion of complexity and singularity problem.

In order to improve the positioning accuracy of the ultrasonic transformer partial discharge source, An ultrasonic localization method for transformer partial discharge based on improved fruit fly algorithm is proposed. Establish a four-channel ultrasonic sensor partial discharge power transformer positioned mathematical model, and the ultrasonic locating problem is transformed into a nonlinear continuous function optimization problem with constraints, which is solved by using the improved fruit fly algorithm within the optimization framework. The algorithm introduces a dynamic step size adjustment factor to update the search distance of Drosophila individuals, which can effectively improve the convergence accuracy and convergence speed of the Drosophila optimization algorithm. The localization results of this method are compared with those obtained by the standard PSO algorithm and FOA algorithm respectively, and the results show that the transformer ultrasonic localization method with improved FOA algorithm proposed in this paper has higher localization accuracy and global search capability. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The photovoltaic(PV)output process is inherently complex,often disrupted by a multitude of meteoro-logical factors,while conventional detection methods at PV power stations prove inadequate,compromising prediction *** address this challenge,this paper introduces a power prediction method that leverages modal switching(MS),weight factor adjustment(WFA),and parallel long short-term memory(PALSTM).Initially,historical PV power station data is categorized into distinct modes based on global horizontal irradiance and converted solar *** analysis is then employed to evaluate the impact of various meteorological factors on PV power,selecting those with strong correlations for each specific ***,the weights of meteorological parameters are optimized and adjusted,and a PALSTM neural network is constructed,with its parallel modal parameters refined through *** on the prediction time and input data mode characteristics,the appropriate mode channel is selected to forecast PV power station ***,the feasibility of this method is validated through an illustrative analysis of measured data from an Australian PV power *** test results underscore the method’s advantages,particularly in scenarios where existing detection methods are lacking and meteorological factors frequently fluctuate,demonstrating its superior prediction accuracy and stability.

Visual simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) in dynamic scenarios is vulnerable to dynamic object factors, which can cause inaccurate pose estimation and limited robustness. To tackle this problem, we present a SLAM algorithm named SDG-SLAM, which combines improved visual semantic and geometric constraints to reject outliers and enhance performance. Firstly, the algorithm utilizes the neural network YOLOv5 (the fifth version of You Only Look Once) to obtain object's prior semantics in the environment. In the meantime, the ORB feature points of keyframes are acquired, and the sparse optical flow tracking and matching are performed on non-key frames Secondly, adaptive initial dynamic point detection is implemented based on the epipolar constraints. Subsequently, the method of motion constraint posterior combined with semantic prior was used to screen and eliminate dynamic feature points. Finally, all static feature points from the environment are utilized, and these feature points are participated in the camera's pose estimation. Substantial experiments performed on challenging public dynamic scenario datasets and outdoor dynamic scenarios demonstrate that SDG-SLAM significantly improves pose accuracy in scenes containing objects with different motion states. Specifically, compared to ORB-SLAM3, SDG-SLAM achieves more than 87% improvement in localization accuracy for high dynamic datasets and over 85% improvement for outdoor dynamic environments. © 2024 SPIE.

This paper employs an iterative learning control (ILC) approach to achieve tracking task for non-repetitive time-varying systems (NTVSs). In industrial production tasks, the actual model of the system is usually unknown, and the nominal model will have a certain degree of error, which brings complexity and difficulty to the design of control task. To tackle this issue, ILC framework incorporates unscented Kalman filter strategy to estimate parameter, which yields the proposed algorithm. The robust convergence property of the scheme is proven in theory based on the design goal. Finally, the advantage of the proposed method is demonstrated by comparison with other methods. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper proposes a three-port cascaded STATCOM with energy storage system. This topology includes a cascaded STATCOM, a zigzag transformer, a three-phase inverter, and two DC ports. The cascaded STATCOM is connected to a 10kV feeder and achieves reactive power compensation. The zigzag transformer connects the cascaded STATCOM and three-phase inverter, and the neutral point can lead to a low-voltage DC port. The three-phase inverter can control the flow of active power, and the DC side can lead out the medium-voltage DC port. The low-voltage DC port and medium-voltage DC port can be flexibly connected to photovoltaic array and energy storage system. This paper introduces the topology structure, working principle, and control strategy of the three-port cascaded STATCOM. Finally, a MATLAB/Simulink simulation is built to verify the effectiveness of the topology. © 2024 IEEE.
