Considering the weak observability of autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) cooperative localization with one leader and reduced positioning accuracy due to sudden changes in the AUVs motion state in traditional single-leader position models, a two-leader alternated cooperative localization method based on an improved Cubature Kalman Filter (ICKF) algorithm is proposed. Unlike the traditional one-leader localization, the two-leader alternating localization method cooperatively corrects positioning errors using distance information from different leader AUVs at adjacent time points. To address the problem of increased positioning error due to changes in the AUVs motion trajectory, an adaptive correction criterion and correction method based on innovation are used to improve the cubature Kalman Filter and enhance the algorithm's robustness. The performance of the simulation demonstrates that the filtering accuracy of the proposed ICKF algorithm is much superior and it has more numerical stability than the traditional extended Kalman filter (EKF) and unscented Kalman filter (UKF) algorithm. © The Institution of engineering & Technology 2023.

This paper investigates the stability analysis problem of discrete-time systems with cyclically varying *** previous studies, the delay investigated in this paper cyclically alternates between increasing and decreasing changes within its upper and lower bounds. First, to reasonably describe the cyclic variation characteristics of the delay, a discretetime looped functional(DTLF) approach and a refined allowable delay set(ADS) are proposed. Then, based on the constructed DTLF with delay-product terms and using matrix-separation-based inequality to estimate its forward difference,delay-variation-interval-dependent stability conditions considering two different ADSs are derived. Finally, the effectiveness and superiority of the obtained conditions are demonstrated through two numerical examples.

Aiming at the problem that visual SLAM algorithms have difficulty in rejecting occluded dynamic objects in dynamic environments, proposed a Dual Attention semantic Segmentation algorithm for visual SLAM (DAS-SLAM). The algorithm enhances feature extraction by improving the deep backbone network, and introduces spatial attention mechanism and channel attention mechanism to build the scene semantic dependency of features to accurately identify occluded objects. The region marked by the instance segmentation uses a combination of multi-view geometry and dynamic thresholding to determine the motion state of objects in the region, eliminating the influence of dynamic targets in the scene on SLAM localization accuracy. The results show that the rootmean-square error of the trajectory of the algorithm is reduced by 36% compared with the DS-SLAM algorithm, which effectively improves the accuracy of camera pose estimation and map construction and demonstrates more robustness. © 2022 IEEE.

Fiber Metal Laminates(FMLs),as high-performance composite materials,demonstrate exceptional potential in a wide range of applications,such as aeronautical and astronautical ***,the traditional cured FMLs possess complex interlayer stresses and low forming limits,restricting further promotion and application of ***-constraint FMLs exhibit a lower forming resistance and better formability due to no curing during the forming process;however,the formation mechanism and response are not *** paper presents the Forming Limit Diagram(FLD)of low-constraint GLARE(glass fiber reinforced aluminum laminates)based on the forming limit test,and compares it with the conventionally cured laminates to evaluate the differences in the forming *** addition,combined with the analysis of failure mechanism and micro-deformation mechanism of specimens,the influence of different temperatures(20–80℃)and forming states(width)on the deformation performance of laminates is further *** results reveal that the forming limit curve of low-constraint laminates shifts up with the increase of temperature,the forming limit initially increases with the increase of width,then followed by a gradual decrease,and the maximum principal strain of low-constraint laminates is increased by 29% at 80℃ compared to 20℃.The cured laminate has a principal strain range of 0–0.02,while the low-constraint laminates have a principal strain range of 0.03–*** with cured laminates,low-constraint laminates possess a higher forming limit due to the improvement in deformable degree between layers by resin flow and fiber slippage,which enhances their *** study is expected to serve as a reference for establishing forming limit criteria and optimizing forming schemes for low-constraint laminates.

Image feature extraction and matching is an essential work in computer image processing. This technique aligns two or more images of the same scene obtained by different sensors under different or the same imaging conditions to determine the relationship between them. Based on the SURF algorithm, this paper adopts the local two-dimensional entropy to improve the uniqueness of the extracted feature points. Then the Euclidean distance in the traditional algorithm is changed to the Manhattan distance, and the distance evaluation function is introduced for pre-processing. Finally, the particle swarm algorithm is applied to optimize the feature point matching process. Through theoretical analysis and experimental contrast, the improved SURF algorithm has significantly improved both matching speed and accuracy, demonstrating the algorithm's reliability and effectiveness. © 2022 IEEE.

Heavy trucks play a crucial role in shaping highway traffic dynamics. Their slower speed and unique acceleration and deceleration patterns can greatly influence the efficiency and stability of mixed traffic streams. This study explores a traffic scenario involving both heavy trucks and Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAVs), presenting an innovative model for mixed traffic flow and establishing specific lane-changing protocols for autonomous vehicles. Utilizing numerical simulations and comparative analyses, the research explores how heavy trucks affect traffic speed and lane-changing dynamics across different levels of CAV integration and varying traffic conditions. The findings of the study indicate that with lower rates of CAV penetration, increased traffic flow heightens the frequency of vehicle interactions, resulting in more pronounced variations in traffic speed. Conversely, when CAV penetration rates are elevated, there is a marked improvement in average traffic speed, alongside a significant reduction in speed fluctuations, particularly in high-density traffic situations. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Significant challenges are posed by the limitations of gas sensing mechanisms for trace-level detection of ammonia(NH3).In this study,we propose to exploit single-atom catalytic activation and targeted adsorption properties to achieve highly sensitive and selective NH3 gas ***,Ni singleatom active sites based on N,C coordination(Ni-N-C)were interfacially confined on the surface of two-dimensional(2D)MXene nanosheets(Ni-N-C/Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx),and a fully flexible gas sensor(MNPE-Ni-N-C/Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx)was *** sensor demonstrates a remarkable response value to 5 ppm NH3(27.3%),excellent selectivity for NH3,and a low theoretical detection limit of 12.1 *** analysis by density functional calculation reveals that the Ni single-atom center with N,C coordination exhibits specific targeted adsorption properties for ***,its catalytic activation effect effectively reduces the Gibbs free energy of the sensing elemental reaction,while its electronic structure promotes the spill-over effect of reactive oxygen species at the gas-solid *** sensor has a dual-channel sensing mechanism of both chemical and electronic sensitization,which facilitates efficient electron transfer to the 2D MXene conductive network,resulting in the formation of the NH3 gas molecule sensing ***,the passivation of MXene edge defects by a conjugated hydrogen bond network enhances the long-term stability of MXene-based electrodes under high humidity *** work achieves highly sensitive room-temperature NH3 gas detection based on the catalytic mechanism of Ni single-atom active center with N,C coordination,which provides a novel gas sensing mechanism for room-temperature trace gas detection research.

Deep learning models rely heavily on large amounts of data for training. This paper proposes a virtual sample generation technique (VSG) aimed at addressing the problem of few-shot object detection in the industrial field. The technique first obtains a new sample dataset by performing operations such as image rotation, cropping, and splicing on the original samples, and then generates a virtual sample dataset through CycleGAN to expand the sample dataset of industrial components, thus improving the performance of deep learning object detection networks. Finally, experiments are conducted and compared on YOLOv3 and YOLOv5. The mean average precision (mAP) obtained by this method is 2.3% and 2.4% higher than the two benchmark networks, respectively. The experimental results show that the proposed virtual sample generation technique for few-shot object detection in the industrial field is feasible, effective, and practical value. © 2023 Technical Committee on Control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.
