Variance-SNR Based Noise Suppression on Linear Canonical Choi-Williams Distribution of LFM Signals

By solving the existing expectation-signal-to-noise ratio(expectation-SNR) based inequality model of the closed-form instantaneous cross-correlation function type of Choi-Williams distribution(CICFCWD),the linear canonical transform(LCT) free parameters selection strategies obtained are usually *** the second-order moment variance outperforms the first-order moment expectation in accurately characterizing output SNRs, this paper uses the variance analysis technique to improve parameters selection strategies. The CICFCWD's average variance of deterministic signals embedded in additive zero-mean stationary circular Gaussian noise processes is first obtained. Then the so-called variance-SNRs are defined and applied to model a variance-SNR based inequality. A stronger inequalities system is also formulated by integrating expectation-SNR and variance-SNR based inequality models. Finally, a direct application of the system in noisy one-component and bi-component linear frequency-modulated(LFM) signals detection is studied. Analytical algebraic constraints on LCT free parameters newly derived seem more accurate than the existing ones, achieving better noise suppression effects. Our methods have potential applications in optical, radar, communication and medical signal processing.

Deepfake detection aims to mitigate the threat of manipulated content by identifying and exposing forgeries. However, previous methods primarily tend to perform poorly when confronted with cross-dataset scenarios. To address the above issue, we propose an innovative hybrid network called the Frequency-based Local and Global (FLAG) network to explore local and global information with the help of frequency-domain cues for better generalization capability. In consideration of the fact that forged faces often exhibit flaws in the frequency domain, we design a Frequency-based Attention Enhancement Module (FAEM) to enhance the aggregation of CNN and Vision Transformer (ViT). In this design, local features from CNN are attentively enhanced by selected frequency coefficients in FAEM, facilitating generalizable global features learning by the ViT module. The effectiveness of the proposed method is validated via numerous experiments and the generalization performance is improved under cross-dataset scenarios. Especially, the proposed method have obtained an AUC of 99.26% and an ACC of 96.56% using intra-dataset experimental results on FaceForensics++ (C23). © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

In the increasingly digitized world, the privacy and security of sensitive data shared via IoT devices are paramount. Traditional privacy-preserving methods like k-anonymity and ldiversity are becoming outdated due to technological advancements. In addition, data owners often worry about misuse and unauthorized access to their personal information. To address this, we propose a secure data-sharing framework that uses local differential privacy (LDP) within a permissioned blockchain, enhanced by federated learning (FL) in a zero-trust environment. To further protect sensitive data shared by IoT devices, we use the Interplanetary File System (IPFS) and cryptographic hash functions to create unique digital fingerprints for files. We mainly evaluate our system based on latency, throughput, privacy accuracy, and transaction efficiency, comparing the performance to a benchmark model. The experimental results show that the proposed system outperforms its counterpart in terms of latency, throughput, and transaction efficiency. The proposed model achieved a lower average latency of 4.0 seconds compared to the benchmark model’s 5.3 seconds. In terms of throughput, the proposed model achieved a higher throughput of 10.53 TPS (transactions per second) compared to the benchmark model’s 8 TPS. Privacy concerns the majority of individuals, governments, and organizations that share data over dissimilar networks of nodes. Every kind of participant requires awareness of the data journey that unfolds inside a blockchain network with its own trustworthy rules of data management and accessibility. This paper provides a methodological approach on privacy for data sharing within blockchain environments. Specific technological aspects of blockchains that relate to on-chain privacy such as network nature, party join, smart contracts, blockchain states, transactions, and ledger flows, are analysed with respect to the involvement and impact of privacy in distributed ledgers. A high-level architectural approach is suggested that is intended to address significant privacy concerns on data sharing among different kinds of users in the context of blockchain networks deployment and the broader Web 3.0 ecosystem building. Simultaneously, many pertinent challenges are discussed regarding network nature, configurable privacy, ownership, confidentiality, secured computation, and data monetization that appear in the field and ought to be carefully tackled for the future mass adoption of privacy-matured distributed ledgers that interconnect delivering the future Internet. © 2023 The Authors. We theoretically investigate chaotic dynamics in an optomechanical system composed of a whispering-gallery-mode(WGM)microresonator and a *** find that tuning the optical phase using a phase shifter and modifying the coupling strength via a unidirectional waveguide(IWG)can induce chaotic *** underlying reason for this phenomenon is that adjusting the phase and coupling strength via the phase shifter and IWG bring the system close to an exceptional point(EP),where field localization dynamically enhances the optomechanical nonlinearity,leading to the generation of chaotic *** addition,due to the sensitivity of chaos to phase in the vicinity of the EP,we propose a theoretical scheme to measure the optical phase perturbations using *** work may offer an alternative approach to chaos generation with current experimental technology and provide theoretical guidance for optical signal processing and chaotic secure communication.

E-SWAN:Efficient Sliding Window Analysis Network for Real-Time Speech Steganography Detection

With the rapid advancement of Voice over Internet Protocol(VoIP)technology,speech steganography techniques such as Quantization Index Modulation(QIM)and Pitch Modulation Steganography(PMS)have emerged as significant challenges to information *** techniques embed hidden information into speech streams,making detection increasingly difficult,particularly under conditions of low embedding rates and short speech *** steganalysis methods often struggle to balance detection accuracy and computational efficiency due to their limited ability to effectively capture both temporal and spatial features of speech *** address these challenges,this paper proposes an Efficient Sliding Window Analysis Network(E-SWAN),a novel deep learning model specifically designed for real-time speech steganalysis.E-SWAN integrates two core modules:the LSTM Temporal Feature Miner(LTFM)and the Convolutional Key Feature Miner(CKFM).LTFM captures long-range temporal dependencies using Long Short-Term Memory networks,while CKFM identifies local spatial variations caused by steganographic embedding through convolutional *** modules operate within a sliding window framework,enabling efficient extraction of temporal and spatial *** results on the Chinese CNV and PMS datasets demonstrate the superior performance of *** conditions of a ten-second sample duration and an embedding rate of 10%,E-SWAN achieves a detection accuracy of 62.09%on the PMS dataset,surpassing existing methods by 4.57%,and an accuracy of 82.28%on the CNV dataset,outperforming state-of-the-art methods by 7.29%.These findings validate the robustness and efficiency of E-SWAN under low embedding rates and short durations,offering a promising solution for real-time VoIP *** work provides significant contributions to enhancing information security in digital communications.

A new meaningful image encryption algorithm based on compressive sensing(CS)and integer wavelet transformation(IWT)is proposed in this *** of all,the initial values of chaotic system are encrypted by RSA algorithm,and then they are open as public *** make the chaotic sequence more random,a mathematical model is constructed to improve the random ***,the plain image is compressed and encrypted to obtain the secret ***,the secret image is inserted with numbers zero to extend its size same to the plain *** applying IWT to the carrier image and discrete wavelet transformation(DWT)to the inserted image,the secret image is embedded into the carrier ***,a meaningful carrier image embedded with secret plain image can be obtained by inverse ***,the measurement matrix is built by both chaotic system and Hadamard matrix,which not only retains the characteristics of Hadamard matrix,but also has the property of control and synchronization of chaotic ***,information entropy of the plain image is employed to produce the initial conditions of chaotic *** a result,the proposed algorithm can resist known-plaintext attack(KPA)and chosen-plaintext attack(CPA).By the help of asymmetric cipher algorithm RSA,no extra transmission is needed in the *** simulations show that the normalized correlation(NC)values between the host image and the cipher image are *** is to say,the proposed encryption algorithm is imperceptible and has good hiding effect.
