To ensure a comfortable building environment necessitates accurate measurement and control of air volume within duct systems to meet predetermined requirements for each *** eccentric torque dampers’measurement accuracy may be compromised by adjacent effects from local components,resulting in significant measurement *** solve this problem,the study combines CFD numerical simulation and full-scale experimental validation to derive a formula for controlling air volume within the dampers under operational *** on the formula,a novel torque damper is developed,capable of effectively controlling and accurately measuring air volume in duct *** linking the two blades,the damper resists the adjacent effects of local components(elbow,variable diameter,tee)on air volume measurements without the need for additional devices,ensuring a measurement error within±5.5%.Additionally,the novel dampers have lower resistance compared to traditional *** paper provides a reference for accurately measuring and effectively controlling air volume,while also maximizing the potential benefits of multi-leaf dampers.

TX-80 low-transformation-temperature(LTT)welding wire was used to replace the traditional ER 307Si welding wire to realize the connection of 22SiMn2TiB armor steel in manual overlay *** previously existing issues,such as welding cracks,large welding deformation,and severe welding residual stress,were solved to ensure good strength and ductility *** particular,with the same welding conditions,TX-80 LTT wire eliminates welding *** reduces the welding deformation no matter the base pretreatment of pre-setting angle or no pre-setting *** comparison,it was found that the microstructure at the TX-80 weld is mainly composed of martensite and a small amount of retained *** contrast,the microstructure of the ER 307Si weld consists of a large amount of austenite and a small amount of skeleton-like *** variation trend of residual stress and microhardness from the weld to the base were investigated and compared with the mechanical properties of base *** TX-80 and the ER 307Si tensile samples elongation is 6.76%and 6.01%,while the ultimate tensile strengths are 877 and 667 MPa,*** average impact toughness at room temperature of the ER 307Si weld is 143.9 J/cm^(2),much higher than that of the TX-80 weld,which is only 36.7 J/cm^(2).The relationship between impact and tensile properties with microstructure species and distribution was *** addition,the fracture surface of the tensile and the impact samples was observed and *** dimples,fewer pores,larger radiation zone,and shear lips of TX-80 samples indicate better tensile ductility and worse impact toughness than those of ER 307Si weld.

A numerical method to predict the bursting strength of filament wound composite rocket motor case is proposed *** method can evaluate the longitudinal stress evolution of each composite layer as impregnated filaments with fiber tension are wound layer by layer,and consider the effects of accumulated stress and deformation during filament winding on the bursting strength of composite ***∅520 mm composite cases as a case study,the filament-winding-process-induced stress and deformation as well as progressive damage behavior are numerically predicted,followed by a comparison with experimental *** numerical results show that the predicted bursting pressures for composite cases manufactured on the mandrels with and without a flexible component are 14.20 MPa and 21.40 MPa,*** values exhibit slight deviation from the measured pressures of 13.50 MPa and 21.57 ***,the predicted damage locations,situated respectively in the dome and cylinder,agree well with the experimental *** observations indicate that use of flexible component reduces the load-bearing capacity of the ***,it validates the reliability and accuracy of the proposed numerical method in predicting the bursting strength of composite cases.
