Efficient and stable hydrogen evolution and antibiotic degradation in all-pH-scale water/alkaline seawater using Fe-Co phosphide hollow nanocages fabricated from metallurgical solid waste

The utilization of seawater,a plentiful and cost-effective resource,instead of freshwater for H2 production through electrolysis has garnered significant ***,we present the synthesis of open-structured Fe-Co phosphide(FCP)nanocages for the overall seawater electrolysis,employing metallurgical solid waste(steel rolling sludge,SRS)as the precursor *** FCP nanocages demon-strate exceptional catalytic activity for the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)in all pH scales,achieving performance comparable to that of Pt/C catalysts at high current *** electrolyzer assembled with FCP||FCP requires 1.57 and 1.68 V to achieve current densities of 10 and 100 mA cm-2,***,the assembled FCP electrolyzer showcases over 100 h of cycling stability and nearly 100％Faradaic ***,it can be powered by commercially available silicon solar panels,operating under an intensity of 100 mW cm-2,and by wind-driven sources,rendering it highly promising for real-world *** seawater hydrogen evolution system coupled with levofloxacin(LEV)degra-dation was constructed for the first *** oxidation potential of LEV oxidation reaction(LEVOR)was significantly lower than that of oxygen evolution reaction(OER),indicating that the LEV degradation reaction occurred preferentially and achieved a removal efficiency of 98.57％within 60 *** study provides effective strategies for valorizing SRS and offers insights into the fabrication of high-performance catalysts.

Multispectral non-line-of-sight imaging via deep fusion photography

Passive non-line-of-sight(NLOS) imaging is a promising technique that extends visual perception to hidden objects around the corner, offering advantages such as low-cost, portability, and real-time. However, the low quality of current passive NLOS images remains a significant barrier to field application of NLOS targets imaging at long *** study introduces a multispectral NLOS imaging approach utilizing a deep fusion framework to reconstruct images from visible, short-wavelength infrared, and long-wavelength infrared raw data captured by portable devices. The nonlinear representation capabilities and learnable activation function of the Kolmogorov-Arnold network(KAN) are particularly suited to the inverse light field transmission model in NLOS imaging, enhancing the interpretability of the deep neural *** results demonstrate that this deep fusion photography method provides satisfied performance to image the occluded individuals despite the polynomial attenuation of effective signals with increasing distance between hidden objects and the relay wall. Notably, the passive NLOS experiments reveal successful imaging of hidden people at distance >5 m from the relay wall. Remarkably, even at distances three times greater than those in previous studies, quantitative metrics validate the superior performance of the proposed method in the task of passive NLOS imaging.

Adverse effect of niobium and boron on hot deformation behavior of sulfur-containing steel

The hot deformation behaviors of sulfur-containing gear steel 20MnCr5 containing three different contents of Nb and B(0,0.021%Nb,and 0.024%Nb-0.0022%B)were *** compression and tenssion tests were carried out by Gleeble3800 at the austenite region from 850 to 1150℃and the adverse effects of Nb and B were analyzed by the fracture,microstructure and precipitate *** compression tests showed that the proportions of instable area in hot processing maps of 0.021%Nb and Nb-B steels were higher and the deformability of Nb free steel was *** tensile deformation experiments showed that the reduction areas of Nb free,0.021%Nb and Nb-B steels were 92%-99%,84%-98%and 67%-97%,*** addition of Nb or Nb and B inhibited the dynamic recrystallization during hot deformation,and consequently,more deformed grains were then formed in 0.021%Nb and Nb-B steels thus to obtain the microstructure with worse uniformity and then deteriorate the *** addition,the interaction between inclusions and microalloyed elements was also *** particles of 0.021%Nb and Nb-B steels dynamically precipitated during deformation and precipitated together with MnS thus to worsen the deformability,resulting in the decrease of reduction area.

With the depletion of high-quality iron ore resources,high-phosphorus oolitic hematite(HPOH)has attracted great attention due to its large reserve and relatively high iron ***,HPOH is very difficult to be used in ironmaking process due to its special structure.A two-step method of gas-based direct reduction and magnetic separation was thus proposed to recover iron and reduce *** results showed that the powdery reduced iron produced contained 92.31%iron and 0.1%phosphorus,and the iron recovery was 92.65%under optimum reduction condition,which is suitable for following *** apatite will be reduced under long reduction time and a large reducing gas flow rate,resulting in more phosphorus found in the metallic *** the hydrogen–carbon ratio will inhibit the formation and growth of iron particles and prevent the breakage of oolitic *** adjustment of reduction temperature is recommended as it affects the oolitic structure and reduction.

Black polyimides(BPIs)have attracted increasing attention owing to their growing demand in ***,commonly used black polyimides doped with black fillers suffer from poor mechanical and electrical *** address these issues,a new diamine(2,5-bis(4′-amino-[1,1′-biphenyl]-4-yl)-3,4-bis(4-fluorophenyl)cyclopenta-2,4-dien-1-one,TPCPFPDA)bearing a tetraphenylcyclopentadienone(TPCP)moiety bonded with benzene and fluorine units was *** diamine was reacted with 4,4′-(hexafluoroisopropylidene)diphthalic anhydride(6FDA)to yield a soluble intrinsic black polyimide(TPCPFPPI).Bonding fluorine(auxochrome group)and benzene units to TPCP can increase the conjugation ofπ-electrons systems and facilitate the movement of electron throughout the bigπbond,*** to the structural features,the synthesized TPCPFPPI exhibited complete visible-light absorption with high blackness and *** cutoff wavelength(λ_(cut))and CIE(Commission Internationale de I′Eclairage)parameter L^(*)were 684 nm and 1.33,***,TPCPFPPI displayed exceptional electrical,mechanical,and thermal properties as well as excellent solubility.A detailed theoretical calculation was conducted to gain better insight into the electronic properties of the *** showed that the blackness of TPCPFPPI was chiefly attributed to the electron transition from highest occupied molecular orbital(HOMO)to lowest unoccupied molecular orbital(LUMO)in the diamines,where the charges primarily migrated from the aryl groups in the 2-and 5-positions to the cyclopentadienone *** as-obtained intrinsic BPI(TPCPFPPI),exhibiting both high solubility and outstanding overall properties,has important applications in photo-electronics.

The effect of room temperature magnetic field on photoluminescence of Mn:CsPbBr_(3) quantum dots prepared by one-pot method in air

Amine-functionalized metal-organic frameworks loaded with Ag nanoparticles for cycloaddition of CO_(2)to epoxides

Predicting circRNA-Disease Associations by Using Multi-Biomolecular Networks Based on Variational Graph Auto-Encoder with Attention Mechanism

CircRNA-disease association(CDA) can provide a new direction for the treatment of diseases. However,traditional biological experiment is time-consuming and expensive, this urges us to propose the reliable computational model to predict the associations between circRNAs and diseases. And there is existing more and more evidence indicates that the combination of multi-biomolecular information can improve the prediction accuracy. We propose a novel computational model for CDA prediction named MBCDA, we collect the multi-biomolecular information including circRNA, disease, miRNA and lncRNA based on 6 databases, and construct three heterogeneous network among them, then the multi-heads graph attention networks are applied to these three networks to extract the features of circRNAs and diseases from different views, the obtained features are put into variational graph auto-encoder(VGAE) network to learn the latent distributions of the nodes, a fully connected neural network is adopted to further process the output of VGAE and uses sigmoid function to obtain the predicted probabilities of circRNA-disease *** a result, MBCDA achieved the values of AUC and AUPR under 5-fold cross-validation of 0.893 and 0.887. MBCDA was applied to the analysis of the top-25 predicted associations between circRNAs and diseases, these experimental results show that our proposed MBCDA is a powerful computational model for CDA prediction.

In-situ polymerized solid-state lithium metal batteries have garnered significant attention due to their conformal interface contact and continuous pathways for lithium ion(Li^(+))***,their electrochemical performance is often hindered by slow Li^(+)transport within high-area-loading *** study presents an in-situ poly(ε-caprolactone)electrolyte with gradient molar mass(iGPCE)through lithium metal anode(LMA)-induced anionic ring-opening *** electrochemical and kinetic analyses reveal that the iGPCE,characterized by low molar mass(M),significantly enhances Li~+diffusion within high-area-loading cathodes and bulk electrolytes,thereby reducing concentration polarization and promoting uniform electrochemical ***,the high M region on LMA side acts as artificial solid electrolyte interphases,stabilizing the stripping and plating of ***,Li//LFP(20 mg cm^(-2))and Li//NCM622(7.4 mg cm^(-2))utilizing iGPCE exhibit stable charge/discharge *** study offers a fresh approach to accelerate Li~+diffusion kinetics of high-area-loading batteries and suggests broad applicability in other systems.

Electronic 3D printing possesses a remarkable molding ability and convenience in integrated circuits,flex-ible wearables,and individual automobile ***,traditional 3D printing technology still struggles to meet the demands of high precision and high efficiency in the process of fabricating a curved surface circuit,particularly achieving precise silver circuit molding on irregular ***,a high-precision and muti-scaled conformal manufacturing method for silver circuits is presented through the digital light processing(DLP)of ultraviolet-curable silver paste(UV-SP)with adjustable photocuring prop-erties,enabling the successful preparation of micro-scaled conductive structure on the sharply skewed hook *** minimum modeling depth and width of the cured silver paste can be well controlled to 10 and 88 pm,*** with traditional printing technology,the printing efficiency of com-plex patterns has increased by over 70％.The printed silver circuit demonstrates an exceptionally high electrical conductivity,reaching as high as 1.16 × 107 S/***,the UV-SP exhibits significant manufacturing efficiency and superior molding resolution compared to conventional direct ink writing and inkjet printing techniques,thereby contributing to the attainment of high precision and efficiency of conformal and micro-molding manufacturing in sensors,communication antennas,and other electronic devices based on curved substrates.
