The compact dual band lowpass-wide bandpass filter (DB LWBF) proposed in this study is achieved utilising four Composite right/left-handed (CRLH) meandering shaped stubs (MSSs) connected to the main transmission line. In the lowpass band, the proposed filter has a measured -3 dB cut-off frequency of 1.09 GHz, |S21| better than 0.25 dB, and |S11| of less than 38 dB. The measured |S21| in the bandpass passband is 0.25 dB, with |S11| better than 28 dB and a fractional bandwidth of 79% at center frequency of 3.28 GHz. From 1.21 GHz to 1.57 GHz, the filter has greater than 17 dB stopband rejection level, and from 5.01 GHz to 7.25 GHz, it has a more than 20 dB stopband rejection level. For the proposed DB LWBF, electromagnetic simulations, Equivalent LC circuit representations, parametric analysis and measurement results are presented for the proposed DB LWBF. The proposed DB LWBF shows a small circuit size (0.083 λg × 0.048 λg), where λg is the guided wavelength at 1.09 GHz), low insertion loss, wide out-of-band frequency range and high out-of-band rejection level. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper introduces a feedback and feedforward iterative learning control (ILC) scheme for non-affine nonlinear systems featuring iteratively varying trail lengths. The random trail lengths lead to the loss of tracking information in the final iteration. To address this information loss, the deviation in tracking for the ongoing iteration is incorporated with the aid of the feedback control component. It is demonstrated that the convergence condition is contingent solely on the feedforward control gain, with the feedback control part contributing to an acceleration in convergent speed. By establishing the statistical expectation of the initial state as equal to the desired state, it is proven that the mathematical expectation of the error can be effectively controlled to zero. The exponential growth of digital platforms and the increasing user base in wireless communication has created a need for communication systems that can provide high data speeds, reliability, and strong transmission links. The limitations of single antenna systems have led to an increased focus on multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) antennas in order to address the requirements of modern high-speed wireless systems. Nevertheless, the attainment of adequate isolation in compact 5G terminals presents certain obstacles. The primary objective of this review paper is to examine the fundamental aspects, performance metrics, and design methodologies pertaining to multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) antennas. More specifically, the paper delves into the characteristics of dual-band, ultra-wideband (UWB), and circularly polarized antennas. The paper investigates several aspects of present MIMO antenna design procedures, including channel capacity loss (CCL), envelope correlation coefficient (ECC), gain, efficiency, and isolation approaches, in order to facilitate a comparative analysis. This research makes a valuable contribution to the progress of high-speed wireless communication systems by thoroughly understanding the merits and constraints of each strategy. The implementation of Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) antennas shows potential for various wireless applications, encompassing portable devices, smart gadgets, automobiles, and wireless sensors. © 2023 IEEE.

A Modified Pill-shaped ultra-wideband THz antenna is designed with a 45 μm thick FR-4 substrate material having a dielectric constant of 4.3. Power from the source is coupled to the patch using a thin microstrip line and a quarterwave transformer. The partial ground plane reduces the back radiations of the antenna and introduces additional reactance which is responsible for wideband response and providing circular polarization over a wide frequency range. The designed antenna offers ultrawideband impedance bandwidth (IMBW) in the frequency range from 0.24THz to 2.1 THz(159 %), axial ratio bandwidth (3-dB A R B W) in the frequency range of 0.66THz to 1.6 THz(83.18 %) peak gain 8.17dBi and radiation efficiency approximately 87 %. Due to its compactness and ultrawideband response, this antenna can be used for spectroscopic detection and diagnosis, imaging system, sensing, biomedical imaging, and indoor wireless communication system. © 2023 IEEE.

In B5G networks, accurate symbol timing estimate and estimation of the carrier frequency offset are both absolutely necessary. Particularly in highly mobile and interference-ridden settings, these factors are of paramount importance for sustaining high-throughput, dependable wireless communication. Estimating symbol timing and carrier frequency offset in OTFS can be difficult due to factors including the time-varying nature of Doppler shifts and interference from surrounding cells as well as the non-stationary nature of wireless channels. In such changing settings, traditional algorithms often fail to produce reliable estimations. To account for frequency changes caused by things like Doppler effects and drift, this research uses Machine Learning-Based Carrier Frequency Prediction Analysis (ML-CFPA) to implement a dynamic carrier frequency offset estimation and correction system. To preserve signal coherence and lower interference in B5G settings, carrier frequency offset adjustment is essential. communication solutions with high performance are required for these applications to ensure they can function normally despite the complexity and changeability of their contexts. The outcomes demonstrate the higher performance of the algorithm in contrast to conventional approaches, highlighting its applicability to B5G networks. Its potential as a crucial enabling technology for the B5G future has been solidified by these simulations, which verify its capacity to maintain reliable communication under a variety of real-world conditions. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper proposes a comprehensive method for developing an automated drainage monitoring system using sensor networks, an autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV), and a network control center (NCC). The system collects sensor data, communicates with the NCC, and employs the AUV to identify and remove obstructions while monitoring its operation. The system performance evaluation, 3D drainage system modeling, and algorithm functionality revealed the effectiveness of the proposed methodology. These findings highlight the improved maintenance, sanitation, and reduced waterborne disease risks in urban areas. The Indian government's focus on developing "smart cities" and the challenges of poor subterranean drainage surveillance leading to water contamination and diseases has emphasized the importance of drainage systems. These findings highlight the efficacy and feasibility of the system for improving maintenance, sanitation, and reducing waterborne disease risks in urban and metropolitan areas. This paper presents an intelligent vision system modelled in Python using computer vision techniques like OpenCV, image processing techniques like Laplace operation and open-source frameworks like MediaPipe and MobileNet SSD to increase the level of security in ATM kiosks. Unmanned ATM kiosks are usually attached with a camera that records live footage which is checked manually and periodically, leading them to have late responses in emergency situations and making them the easier target for burglaries. Hence, early detection is of utmost importance to take preventive measures and safeguard the ATM and its users. As a consequence, it is important to deploy an automated and intelligent monitoring system to protect and secure the ATM machine from threats and inform the authorities at the earliest. This paper will demonstrate a system which allows only one person to use the ATM at a time. It will detect if the person using the ATM kiosk is displaying anomalous behaviour like moving out of the camera frame or scanning the ATM environment instead of using it and detect the presence of any harmful objects like hammer or rod. This proposed system will take anomalous situations of ATM kiosks into account and counter them by sending a signal to the warning system © 2024 IEEE.

Addressing the challenges of climate change on agriculture necessitates innovative approaches. This study introduces a Renewable Energy-based Smart Agriculture System (RESAS), a paradigm shift designed to enhance climate change predictions and assess their impacts on agriculture. Traditional agriculture systems (TAS) are limited by their dependency on non-renewable energy sources and lack of precision in climate impact forecasting. These limitations contribute to inefficient resource use and inadequate adaptation strategies to climatic changes. RESAS leverages solar and wind energy to power an array of sensors and IoT devices, facilitating real-time data acquisition and analysis. By incorporating AI algorithms for predictive analytics, RESAS outperforms TAS in forecasting climate-related agricultural impacts with greater accuracy and efficiency. Unlike TAS, which relies on historical data and manual interventions, RESAS offers a dynamic, datadriven approach, enabling proactive and precise agricultural management. The comparison between RESAS and TAS reveals significant enhancements in RESAS, including improved predictive accuracy, reduced carbon footprint, and optimized resource utilization. These advancements underscore the potential of RESAS to revolutionize agricultural practices, aligning them with sustainability goals and enhancing resilience against climate variability. © 2024 IEEE.

Stereo matching-based depth estimation that provides dense 3D information is crucial to perceive the surrounding environment. The majority of current stereo matching networks aim to improve prediction accuracy by leveraging robust regularization through extensive use of 3D convolutions, but at the cost of speed. Thus, we propose MCVFNet (Multi-Information Cost Volume Fusion) to reduce the need for 3D convolution through the addition of multiple information. We propose BAF (Bidirectional Aggression Fusion) and MAF (Multi-scale Attention Fusion) for multi-information fusion in the cost aggregation. BAF effectively incorporates multi-scale information into final cost volume without need for excessive 3D convolutions. Through the interconnection of the above and below information streams, which acquires more contextual and geometric information, meanwhile, we propose MAF to fully integrate the information contained in other multi-size cost volumes into the final cost volume. Effective refinement of the cost volume aggregated by BAF is achieved in both disparity dimension and spatial dimension. Experimental results show that we achieve real-time performance on the NVidia 2080TI, outperforming most other recent methods on KITTI online validation set, and competitive with state-of-the-art models. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper presents a 90° filtering quadrature coupler with ultra-wide upper stopband. It consists of four parallel coupled feeding lines with enhanced coupling strength and a circular patch. The filtering response is achieved by the coupled feeding lines. To improve the out-of-band suppression level, two types of open stubs are utilized at the end of the coupled-line section. A slot is introduced at the center of the circular patch to realize equal power division. For demonstration, a filtering coupler operating at 4 GHz is designed, fabricated and measured. A 18 dB out-of-band suppression level ranged from 5 to 19 GHz is realized. © 2024 IEEE.
