HUSS:A Heuristic Method for Understanding the Semantic Structure of Spreadsheets

Spreadsheets contain a lot of valuable data and have many practical *** key technology of these practical applications is how to make machines understand the semantic structure of spreadsheets,e.g.,identifying cell function types and discovering relationships between cell *** existing methods for understanding the semantic structure of spreadsheets do not make use of the semantic information of cells.A few studies do,but they ignore the layout structure information of spreadsheets,which affects the performance of cell function classification and the discovery of different relationship types of cell *** this paper,we propose a Heuristic algorithm for Understanding the Semantic Structure of spreadsheets(HUSS).Specifically,for improving the cell function classification,we propose an error correction mechanism(ECM)based on an existing cell function classification model[11]and the layout features of *** improving the table structure analysis,we propose five types of heuristic rules to extract four different types of cell pairs,based on the cell style and spatial location *** experimental results on five real-world datasets demonstrate that HUSS can effectively understand the semantic structure of spreadsheets and outperforms corresponding baselines.

Simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) is one of the current research hotspots. However, in visual SLAM for dynamic environments, inaccurate detection of object motion states and incomplete dynamic region culling will lead to large localization errors. To address these issues, this paper proposes an RGB-D SLAM method based on feature association. The method has strongly correlated features in time and space according to the input image sequence. Using the moving probability of the feature points in the previous frame, the movement of the feature points in the current frame is calculated in combination with the dynamic corner points screened in the current frame. Then, the motion state of the object is determined according to the proportion of different feature points. Then combined with semantic information and object depth information, the fast search method is used to obtain accurate dynamic regions. Finally, the selected effective feature points are used to estimate the camera pose and establish a static map of the environment. This paper evaluates the robustness and accuracy of our method on the TUM dataset and real environment, and the results show that our method can significantly improve the system tracking effect and reduce the system tracking error compared with other SLAM methods in dynamic environments. © 2022 IEEE.

Most of the existing slam algorithms are designed based on the assumption of a static environment, this strong assumption limits the practical application of most slam systems. The main reason is that moving objects will cause feature mismatch in the pose estimation process, which in turn affects the accuracy of localization and mapping. In this paper, we propose a SLAM algorithm in a dynamic environment. First, we use the BlendMask network to detect potential moving objects to generate masks for dynamic objects. The geometrically constrained joint optical flow method is used to detect dynamic feature points. Secondly, aiming at the failure of semantic segmentation network segmentation, a missed detection compensation algorithm based on the invariance of adjacent frame speed is proposed. Finally, a keyframe selection strategy is proposed to construct a semantic octree graph containing only static objects. We evaluate our algorithm on TUM RGB-D and real scene datasets. The experimental results show that the algorithm has high accuracy and real-time performance. © 2022 IEEE.

The rich structure of transverse spatial modes of structured light has facilitated their extensive applications in quantum information and optical *** Laguerre-Gaussian(LG)modes,which carry a well-defined orbital angular momentum(OAM),consist of a complete orthogonal basis describing the transverse spatial modes of *** application of OAM in free-space optical communication is restricted due to the experimentally limited OAM numbers and the complex OAM recognition ***,we present a novel method that uses the advanced deep learning technique for LG modes *** discretizing the spatial modes of structured light,we turn the OAM state regression into classification.A proof-of-principle experiment is also performed,showing that our method effectively categorizes OAM states with small training samples and the accuracy exceeds 99%from three-dimensional(3D)to fifteen-dimensional(15D)*** assigning each category a classical information,we further apply our approach to an image transmission task,achieving a transmission accuracy of 99.58%,which demonstrates the ability to encode large data with low OAM *** work opens up a new avenue for achieving high-capacity optical communication with low OAM number based on structured light.

This paper analyzes the influence of power and dimension of artificial noise (AN) on security performance of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system with multiple randomly located eavesdroppers. We derive the closed-form expressions of the secrecy outage probability (SOP) and the optimal secrecy capacity by utilizing the irrelevance among transmission channels, and the orthogonality between AN and the basis vectors of the legitimate channel matrix's null space. We use the Poisson point process to determine the number and location of eavesdroppers, then analyze the security performance of the communication system under the 3D channel condition of probability-based line-of-sight (LoS) or non-line-of-sight (NLoS) channel. The simulation results show the following conclusions. When the AN dimension reaches 1/4 highest dimension (i.e., one quarter of the number of transmitting antennae less than one) and the power splitter factor (PSF) falls in the open interval (0.6, 0.9), we can achieve a trade-off between secrecy capacity and design complexity. © 1967-2012 IEEE.

Service robots play an increasingly important role in people's daily life. The density of pedestrians is large and the movement is irregular in pedestrian-robot mixed traffic flows. Robots are prone to collision with pedestrians, and the tasks to be offloaded are closely related to pedestrians. How to analyze the tasks of robots and select the appropriate roadside unit is an important issue. In this paper, the social force model is used to predict the positions of pedestrians and robots, taking into account the influence of various forces to avoid collisions. A task offloading resource optimization algorithm with position prediction is proposed. According to the predicted information, the size and position distribution of all tasks in the scenario are obtained, and then the neural network trained beforehand based on deep Q-Iearning is used to generate a task offloading strategy. The simulation results show that the running time of the proposed algorithm is very short, and the resource allocation required for task offloading is completed in advance based on the predicted information before robots arriving the corresponding positions. Besides, the algorithm significantly reduces the task offloading delay. © 2022 IEEE.

Complex networks enable to represent and characterize the interactions between entities in various complex systems which widely exist in the real world and usually generate vast amounts of data about all the elements, their behaviors and interactions over time. The studies concentrating on new network analysis approaches and methodologies are vital because of the diversity and ubiquity of complex networks. The stochastic block model (SBM), based on Bayesian theory, is a statistical network model. SBMs are essential tools for analyzing complex networks since SBMs have the advantages of interpretability, expressiveness, flexibility and generalization. Thus, designing diverse SBMs and their learning algorithms for various networks has become an intensively researched topic in network analysis and data mining. In this article, we review, in a comprehensive and in-depth manner, SBMs for different types of networks (i.e., model extensions), existing methods (including parameter estimation and model selection) for learning optimal SBMs for given networks and SBMs combined with deep learning. Fortifying Smart Grids: A Holistic Assessment Strategy against Cyber Attacks and Physical Threats for Intelligent Electronic Devices

Intelligent electronic devices(IEDs)are interconnected via communication networks and play pivotal roles in transmitting grid-related operational data and executing control *** the context of the heightened security challenges within smart grids,IEDs pose significant risks due to inherent hardware and software vulner-abilities,as well as the openness and vulnerability of communication *** grid security,distinct from traditional internet security,mainly relies on monitoring network security events at the platform layer,lacking an effective assessment mechanism for ***,we incorporate considerations for both cyber-attacks and physical faults,presenting security assessment indicators and methods specifically tailored for ***,we outline the security monitoring technology for IEDs,considering the necessary data sources for their security ***,we classify IEDs and establish a comprehensive security monitoring index system,incorporating factors such as running states,network traffic,and abnormal *** index system contains 18 indicators in 3 ***,we elucidate quantitative methods for various indicators and propose a hybrid security assessment method known as GRCW-hybrid,combining grey relational analysis(GRA),analytic hierarchy process(AHP),and entropy weight method(EWM).According to the proposed assessment method,the security risk level of IEDs can be graded into 6 levels,namely 0,1,2,3,4,and *** higher the level,the greater the security ***,we assess and simulate 15 scenarios in 3 categories,which are based on monitoring indicators and real-world situations encountered by *** results show that calculated security risk level based on the proposed assessment method are consistent with actual ***,the reasonableness and effectiveness of the proposed index system and assessment method are validated.
