Identifying critical nodes or sets in large-scale networks is a fundamental scientific problem and one of the key research directions in the fields of data mining and network science when implementing network attacks, defense, repair and *** methods usually begin from the centrality, node location or the impact on the largest connected component after node destruction, mainly based on the network ***, these algorithms do not consider network state *** applied a model that combines a random connectivity matrix and minimal low-dimensional structures to represent network *** using mean field theory and information entropy to calculate node activity,we calculated the overlap between the random parts and fixed low-dimensional parts to quantify the influence of node impact on network state changes and ranked them by *** applied this algorithm and the proposed importance algorithm to the overall analysis and stratified analysis of the *** neural *** observed a change in the critical entropy of the network state and by utilizing the proposed method we can calculate the nodes that indirectly affect muscle cells through neural layers.

Ecosystems generally have the self-adapting ability to resist various external pressures or disturbances,which is always called ***,once the external disturbances exceed the tipping points of the system resilience,the consequences would be catastrophic,and eventually lead the ecosystem to complete *** capture the collapse process of ecosystems represented by plant-pollinator networks with the k-core nested structural method,and find that a sufficiently weak interaction strength or a sufficiently large competition weight can cause the structure of the ecosystem to collapse from its smallest k-core towards its largest *** we give the tipping points of structure and dynamic collapse of the entire system from the one-dimensional dynamic function of the *** work provides an intuitive and precise description of the dynamic process of ecosystem collapse under multiple interactions,and provides theoretical insights into further avoiding the occurrence of ecosystem collapse.

Semantic Comprehension Method for Chinese Sentences Based on Minimal Semantic Structures and Its Application

The importance of small Chinese sentences is no less than that of sentences, which is an inherent feature of Chinese itself. According to this characteristic, this paper proposes a sentence semantic understanding method for Chinese scientific and technological abstracts based on the minimum semantic structure. Firstly,a conceptual model was established for identifying the minimum semantic structure of a sentence based on a corpus of verbs, relative words, prepositions and markers based on Language Technology Planform(LTP) ***, the model was used to extract the minimum semantic structure of abstract sentence. Finally, three experiments were carried out, namely, the classification of the abstract sentences, knowledge graph generation and automatic semantic inference discovery. Our study confirmed the practical value of the small Chinese *** experimental results show that the effect of using small sentences to understand the semantics of Chinese text is better than that of the full stop sentence, and the minimum semantic structure can be used as the basic unit of the Chinese sentence semantic comprehension. This method is conducive in the automatic understanding of the basic semantics of sentences in unstructured Chinese science and technology text sentences.

Pedestrian wind flow prediction using spatial-frequency generative adversarial network

Pedestrian wind flow is a critical factor in designing livable residential environments under growing complex urban *** pedestrian wind flow during the early design stages is essential but currently suffers from inefficiencies in numerical *** learning,particularly generative adversarial networks(GAN),has been increasingly adopted as an alternative method to provide efficient prediction of pedestrian wind ***,existing GAN-based wind flow prediction schemes have limitations due to the lack of considering the spatial and frequency characteristics of wind flow *** study proposes a novel approach termed SFGAN,which embeds spatial and frequency characteristics to enhance pedestrian wind flow *** the spatial domain,Gaussian blur is employed to decompose wind flow into components containing wind speed and distinguished flow edges,which are used as the embedded spatial *** information of wind flow is obtained through discrete wavelet transformation and used as the embedded frequency *** spatial and frequency characteristics of wind flow are jointly utilized to enforce consistency between the predicted wind flow and ground truth during the training phase,thereby leading to enhanced *** results demonstrate that SFGAN clearly improves wind flow prediction,reducing Wind_MAE,Wind_RMSE and the Fréchet Inception Distance(FID)score by 5.35%,6.52%and 12.30%,compared to the previous best method,*** also analyze the effectiveness of incorporating the spatial and frequency characteristics of wind flow in predicting pedestrian wind *** reduces errors in predicting wind flow at large error intervals and performs well in wake regions and regions surrounding *** enhanced predictions provide a better understanding of performance variability,bringing insights at the early design stage to improve pedestrian wind *** proposed spatial-frequen

In-depth investigation of contributing factors of fatal/severe-injury crashes at highway merging areas using machine learning classification methods

Highway on-ramp merging locations are vulnerable to traffic collisions inflicting fatal or serious injuries to drivers. Although numerous studies have uncovered the major contributing factors to crashes at on-ramp merging areas, none of these studies have focused on fatal/severe-injury crashes. This paper aims to provide an in-depth and systematic investigation on critical contributing factors of the high-severity crashes at highway merging areas. As part of the analysis, support vector machines(SVM) and random forest(RF) models were developed for a 10-year data set of crashes at more than 250 merging locations in Texas,United States, using 23 different crash attributes describing each incident to predict highseverity crashes. A sensitivity analysis was conducted to quantify the marginal effects of each contributing factor. The results indicate that there is an increased likelihood of fatal/severe-injury crashes when the number of highway lanes is high, and the number of lanes on the frontage roads/connector roads is low(<4). Likewise, presence of heavy vehicles seems to affect the occurrence of fatal injury crashes at merging areas. Additionally, longer ramp lengths, presence of auxiliary lanes, and the proximity of exit ramps are found to increase the likelihood of high severity crashes. These findings, either new or consistent with previous studies are helpful in enriching the literature of on-ramp related highway safety studies.

Sustainability-driven technology road mapping: a strategic framework for sustainable development with moderation of ease of use

Sustainability-driven technologies (SDTs) are crucial for sustainable development (SD) as they minimise environmental impact, promote resource efficiency, and foster environmental quality. This study attempts to reveal the connection between SDTs and sustainable development along with moderation of ease of use (EOU) about these evolving technologies drawing of Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) theory. This study affirmed the connection between SDTs (e.g., renewable energy, energy storage systems, smart grids, electric vehicles, green building, water conservation, big data analytics, Internet of Things (IoTs), circular economy, and eco-friendly manufacturing technologies) toward SD (e.g., economic, environmental, and social development). Second, the study confirmed a positive moderation of EOU between SDTs and SD which ensured that EOU is an important factor while implementing these technologies to effectively achieve SD. Finally, this study provides lines for future researchers by showing certain limitations of the current work. Copyright © 2024 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.

Railway switch machine is essential for maintaining the safety and punctuality of train operations.A data-driven fault diagnosis scheme for railway switch machine using tensor machine and multi-representation monitoring data is developed *** existing methods,this approach takes into account the spatial information of the time series monitoring data,aligning with the domain expertise of on-site manual ***,a multi-sensor fusion tensor machine is designed to improve single signal data’s limitations in insufficient ***,one-dimensional signal data is preprocessed and transformed into two-dimensional ***,the fusion feature tensor is created by utilizing the images of the three-phase current and employing the CANDE-COMP/PARAFAC(CP)decomposition ***,the tensor learning-based model is built using the extracted fusion feature *** developed fault diagnosis scheme is valid with the field three-phase current *** experiment indicates an enhanced performance of the developed fault diagnosis scheme over the current approach,particularly in terms of recall,precision,and F1-score.

Spark,a distributed computing platform,has rapidly developed in the field of big *** in-memory computing feature reduces disk read overhead and shortens data processing time,making it have broad application prospects in large-scale computing applications such as machine learning and image ***,the performance of the Spark platform still needs to be *** a large number of tasks are processed simultaneously,Spark’s cache replacementmechanismcannot identify high-value data partitions,resulting inmemory resources not being fully utilized and affecting the performance of the Spark *** address the problem that Spark’s default cache replacement algorithm cannot accurately evaluate high-value data partitions,firstly the weight influence factors of data partitions are modeled and ***,based on this weighted model,a cache replacement algorithm based on dynamic weighted data value is proposed,which takes into account hit rate and data *** integration and usage strategies are implemented based on LRU(LeastRecentlyUsed).Theweight update algorithm updates the weight value when the data partition information changes,accurately measuring the importance of the partition in the current job;the cache removal algorithm clears partitions without useful values in the cache to releasememory resources;the weight replacement algorithm combines partition weights and partition information to replace RDD partitions when memory remaining space is ***,by setting up a Spark cluster environment,the algorithm proposed in this paper is experimentally *** have shown that this algorithmcan effectively improve cache hit rate,enhance the performance of the platform,and reduce job execution time by 7.61%compared to existing improved algorithms.
