Model-Agnostic Meta-Learning (MAML), have shown a good generalization performance in solving task planning problems. Most of the existing meta-reinforcement learning(meta-rl) algorithms learn meta-policies by randomly sampling tasks. However, this sampling strategy can only adapt to simple tasks, and have insufficient ability to generalize to difficult and new tasks. To address these problems, the Improved curriculum learning-MAML (ICL-MAML) framework is designed, which the task sampling strategy based on improved curriculum learning is applied for sampling the tasks. This method improves the convergence ability of meta strategies for difficult tasks and their generalization ability for new tasks. At the same time, it alleviates the problem of catastrophic forgetting. Experiments in the meta-world environment show that ICL-MAML has a significant improvement in training and testing success rates, and uses less training time compared to random sampling task strategy. © 2024 IEEE.

Cooperative output regulation of heterogeneous directed multi-agent systems:a fully distributed model-free reinforcement learning framework

In this paper, the cooperative output regulation(COR) problem of a class of unknown heterogeneous multi-agent systems(MASs) with directed graphs is studied via a model-free reinforcement learning(RL) based fully distributed eventtriggered control(ETC) strategy. First, we consider the scenario that the exosystem is accessible globally to all agents, an internal model-based augmented algebraic Riccati equation(AARE) is constructed, and its solution is learned by the proposed model-free RL algorithm via online input-output data. Further, for the scenario that the exosystem is accessible only to its adjacent followers, the distributed observers are designed for each agent to get the state of the exosystem, and an internal modelbased fully distributed adaptive ETC protocol is then synthesized to construct the corresponding AARE, and the feedback gain matrix is learned in a model-free fashion. The model-free RL-based control protocol proposed in this paper can not only remove the prior knowledge of agents' dynamics, but also release the dependence on global information by the adaptive event-triggered mechanism(ETM) and the new graph-based Lyapunov function. Finally, simulation results are illustrated to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.

Image Enhancement via Associated Perturbation Removal and Texture Reconstruction Learning

Degradation under challenging conditions such as rain, haze, and low light not only diminishes content visibility, but also results in additional degradation side effects, including detail occlusion and color distortion. However, current technologies have barely explored the correlation between perturbation removal and background restoration, consequently struggling to generate high-naturalness content in challenging scenarios. In this paper, we rethink the image enhancement task from the perspective of joint optimization: Perturbation removal and texture reconstruction. To this end, we advise an efficient yet effective image enhancement model, termed the perturbation-guided texture reconstruction network(PerTeRNet). It contains two subnetworks designed for the perturbation elimination and texture reconstruction tasks, respectively. To facilitate texture recovery,we develop a novel perturbation-guided texture enhancement module(PerTEM) to connect these two tasks, where informative background features are extracted from the input with the guidance of predicted perturbation priors. To alleviate the learning burden and computational cost, we suggest performing perturbation removal in a sub-space and exploiting super-resolution to infer high-frequency background details. Our PerTeRNet has demonstrated significant superiority over typical methods in both quantitative and qualitative measures, as evidenced by extensive experimental results on popular image enhancement and joint detection tasks. With the popularity of mobile payment, the problem of financial fraud is becoming increasingly prominent, and the limitations of traditional anti-fraud methods make it more difficult to fight fraud. Many fraud detection tools lack generalization and cannot provide services for the majority of enterprises. To solve this problem, this paper introduces and compares the performance of a variety of popular meta-heuristic algorithms in the field of feature selection, in order to pursue the best performance and generalization. In addition, this paper improves the particle swarm optimization algorithm by introducing cost-effectiveness, so that it can show better performance in the feature selection problem. In this paper, through a comprehensive evaluation of the system, a variety of performance indicators and confusion matrix are examined to accurately evaluate the performance of the system. In particular, the potential of the system in practical applications is highlighted, and it is expected to achieve significant results in real scenarios. And through the analysis of detailed performance indicators and confusion matrix, the feasibility and effectiveness of the system in solving practical problems and coping with various challenges are highlighted. © 2024 IEEE.

The free-surface tank is a typical ship roll reduction device. It can also play a role in ballast in some large ro-ro ships, and has the advantage of a wide range of periodic adjustments. The performance of the free-surface tank is mainly affected by the characteristics of the fluid in the tank and the control strategy. In order to obtain the ideal anti-roll effect, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations are used to obtain the fluid characteristics within the constraints of the hull space and layout, taking into account the actual shape and internal baffles. On this basis, in order to overcome the shortcomings of the traditional control method with poor real-time performance, a period prediction method based on long short-term memory (LSTM) neural networks is developed to adapt to the period of the free tank on the surface and the rolling motion of the ship, and the proportional-integral-differential (PID) controller is used to realize the control of the liquid level in the tank. The simulation results show that the proposed predictive control strategy based on LSTM can improve the control performance by reducing the phase lag, which can not only eliminate the rolling phenomenon in the low frequency area of the anti-rolling tank, but also better reduce the ship rolling, and the anti-rolling effect can reach 30%. © 2023, harbin engineering university.

Effect of compound treatment of rotating magnetic field and Al-5Ti-1B refiner on microstructure and properties of Al-5Cu alloy

The Al-5Cu alloys were prepared by different treatment methods,including adding a refiner Al-5Ti-1B,exerting a rotating magnetic field(RMF),and compound treatment of both refiner and *** effects of treatment methods on the microstructure,properties,and solid solubility of the Al-5Cu alloy were *** optimal magnetic field parameters and addition amount of refiner were confirmed by *** show that either RMF or adding refiner Al-5Ti-1B alone can refine the grain size,and the refining effect can be further improved by a compound refining treatment with optimized magnetic field parameters(120 A current and 8 Hz frequency) and 1.0wt.% Al-5Ti-1B refiner(RMF*+Al-5Ti-1B*).The average grain size is decreased to 68.1 μm,which is 60.8%,21.1%,and 83.5% lower than that of the alloy treated by the optimized rotating magnetic field,the Al-5Ti-1B refiner,and the alloy without any treatment,*** tensile strength and elongation of the alloy reach 232.5 MPa and 18.6%,respectively,which are obviously higher than those of the alloys treated by rotating magnetic field,Al-5Ti-1B refiner,and the alloy without any treatment,***,the solid solubility of the alloy is also obviously improved compared to the alloys treated by other methods.

Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) is a prominent research area in robotics. This paper presents a SLAM algorithm based on VINS-Fusion to address the challenge of estimating camera pose in GNSS-challenging environments. The algorithm incorporates a method for evaluating the reliability of GNSS measurements to optimize their usage, and performs online optimization of the GNSS lever arm. These enhancements improve the robustness and positioning accuracy of the system in GNSS-challenging scenarios. The GNSS measurement quality evaluation method consists of two layers: the first layer is situated at the input end of GNSS measurements and utilizes a dynamic threshold method to monitor the quality of the input measurements;the second layer is employed after the system completes graph optimization and employs a chi-square test to identify all GNSS outliers present in the optimization graph. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms the VINS-Fusion algorithm significantly in GNSS-challenging environments. In dataset testing, the root mean square error (RMSE) is reduced by an average of 76.3%. © 2023 IEEE.

Tracking atomic structural evolution along chemical transformation pathways is essential for optimizing chemical transitions and enhancing control. However, molecule-level knowledge of structural rearrangements during chemical processes remains a great challenge. Here, we couple infrared spectroscopy as a non-invasive method to probe molecular transformations, with a machine-learned protocol to immediately map the spectroscopic fingerprints to atomistic structures. From the theoretical perspective, we demonstrate it here with the example of C–C coupling in catalytic reactions, elucidating various structural conformations along dynamic trajectories. Within the transferable application to the specific CO–CO dimerization reaction, the structural and energetic variations of the critical chemical species could be identified via infrared spectroscopy. This approach extends the power of spectroscopy from fingerprinting chemical configurations to using them for assigning dynamic structural information.
