Considering the dynamic characteristics of the deformation zone, a new model of combined shape and thickness system in rolling process was proposed, regarding bending force and gauge as the main factors. Taking various kinds of secondary causes, perturbation and disturbance into consideration, robust control methods were brought in. A mathematic model was proposed based on field data, then static decoupler and robust controller were developed with benefit of robust control toolbox in MATLAB. Simulation results show the effectiveness of tracing and decoupling and robustness for parameter perturbation.

Pectoral fin plays a vital role in improving the performance of fish motion such as accuracy, flexibility, maneuverability and so on. In order to analyze the propulsion performance of pectoral fin, a kinematic model of pectoral fin was established based on the skeleton structure and motion characteristics of pectoral fin of labriform mode. Afterwards, the quasi-steady hydrodynamic theory was used to calculate the hydrodynamic force acted on the flexible pectoral fin, and a mathematical model which can optimize the propulsion performance of pectoral fin was established. At last, the genetic algorithm was adopted to solve the optimal kinematic parameters of pectoral fin, and the simulation analysis of propulsion performance of pectoral fin was developed. The simulation result shows that the optimization plays an important role in improving the propulsion performance of pectoral fin.

To identify personality of a radio signal, a new method of multi-object optimization is proposed to solve a system of high order cumulants equations. The power amplifier model is first shown to be equivalent to a multi-input single-output system. A system of equations is derived from the cumulant relation between input and output. The system is solved with multi-object genetic optimization to obtain the features. The system of equations is verified by simulation, and the results of estimation are compared with computed values, showing that the proposed method can extract features from the received signal only with minor errors.
