Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems may suffer from both carrier frequency offset (CFO) and in-phase/quadrature-phase (I/Q) imbalance at the receiver front end. In this paper, a novel type of intercarrier interference (ICI) self-cancellation method using mirror mapping is proposed to combat these impairment. Based on the proposed novel method and by adopting two widely used mapping operations, we altogether derive two different mirror mapping schemes. Analysis and simulation results verify that the proposed mirror mapping schemes not only inherit the efficiency of the existing self-cancellation schemes in suppressing ICI caused by CFO but also have the ability of compressing or even eliminating IQ imbalance.

This paper is concerned with the problem of H ∞ filtering for a class of discrete-time linear parameter-varying (LPV) systems with Markovian switching under data missing and quantization. A stochastic variable is used to describe the model of the data missing phenomenon. Then a H ∞ filter is designed to guarantee the filtering error dynamics is stochastically stable with H ∞ performance. The existence of the desired H ∞ filter is ensured by some sufficient conditions expressed in terms of parameterized linear matrix inequalities (PLMIs). The proposed theoretical findings are validated by numerical results.

Considering from test time, test power and access, this article adopts new method that LFSR reseeding based on syncopation of some test patterns. In a test set, some patterns have a lot of confirmed bits and are hardly encoded by LFSR. They are syncopated and substituted by generating patterns. This method can reduce the number of seeds and improve the utilization of seed so that achieve the purpose of test data compression. Using in the benchmark circuits, experimental results show that it can better improve the compression rate and reduce the cost of test.

There is need to quantify the dental plaque in order to keep fit and prevent vital diseases' occurrence. Dental plaque quantification is very crucial to patients, dentists as well as researchers. This paper presented a method to automatically quantifying the dental plaque in digital tooth images using fuzzy c-means (FCM) clustering algorithm associated with images' histogram analysis. The proposed approach was applied to a clinical database consisting of 30 objects. The experimental results indicate that the proposed method provides accurate quantitative measurement of dental plaque compared with that of dental plaque indices.
