This paper proposed a new Ad Hoc dynamic routing algorithm, which based on ant-colony algorithm in order to reasonably extend the dynamic allocation of network traffic and network lifetime. The Algorithm choose path according transmission latency, path of the energy rate, congestion rate, dynamic rate. The Algorithm update the routing table by dynamic collection of path information after path established. The analyse shows that algorithm increases the network throughput, reduces the average end-to-end packet transmission latency, and extends the network lifetime, achieves an improving performance.

A segmentation multi-dimensional crest factor reduction (SMD-CFR) algorithm is proposed for multi-service supporting digital radio over fibre (DRoF) system. Benefit from segmentation dynamic clipping threshold and clipping factor got basing on characteristics of all service bands, the SMD-CFR is able to get better peak clipping and peak to average power ratio (PAPR) reduction for multi-band combined signal. Simulation results show that SMD-CFR gets more than 2.3 reduction in PAPR for two-bands combined signal of long term evolution (LTE) , which is much better than traditional one dimensional (1D)-CFR. Meanwhile, for 64-quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) modulation and demodulation link, it has very small effect on bit error rate (BER) and error vector magnitude (EVM) , which are controlled less than 0. 1% and 0.2% respectively. For hardware experiment, SMD-CFR obtains 4.5% increase in drain efficiency and about 4 dBc increase in adjacent channel leakage ratio (ACLR). These are very significant for the wide band power amplifier (PA) in multi-service supporting DRoF system.

We presented a combination of a new coding technique called Multi Slot Amplitude Coding(MSAC). By jointing Optisystem and Matlab, the coding and decoding of MSAC, Duty Cycle Division Multiplexing(DCDM) and Absolute Polar Duty Cycle Division Multiplexing(APDCDM) all are achieved in a same Free Space Optical(FSO) communication system. By comparing average energy of each symbol, different mapping rules of MSAC are compared. The simulation results of a 3-tributaries FSO system shows that MSAC can adapt to different systems and weather environment by using optimized mapping rule. Besides, at the same aggregate bit rate of 3×10 Gbps, MSAC gives a spectral width of 60 GHz, which is 25% reduction than DCDM.

There is need to quantify the dental plaque in order to keep fit and prevent vital diseases' occurrence. Dental plaque quantification is very crucial to patients, dentists as well as researchers. This paper presented a method to automatically quantifying the dental plaque in digital tooth images using fuzzy c-means (FCM) clustering algorithm associated with images' histogram analysis. The proposed approach was applied to a clinical database consisting of 30 objects. The experimental results indicate that the proposed method provides accurate quantitative measurement of dental plaque compared with that of dental plaque indices.
