A novel regional path tracking description is presented in this manuscript, and the moving horizon control method that is model predictive control(MPC) is proposed to discuss the regional path tracking issue which could avoid colliding road boundary when tracking a more complex road effectively. The feasible region for autonomous ground vehicles(AGVs) running is determined first according to the detected road ***, in order to keep the actual trajectory of AGVs in the region and satisfy the safety requirements, MPC method is employed to design the path tracking controller considering actuator and road boundary *** order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, experiments based on Hongqi AGV HQ430 are carried out, and the results illustrate that the presented method could be successfully applied to Hongqi AGV vehicle HQ 430.

We report a fiber Bragg grating(FBG)-based sensor for the simultaneous measurement of a train bearing’s vibration and temperature. A pre-stretched optical fiber with an FBG and a mass is designed for axial vibration sensing. Another multiplexed FBG is embedded in a selected copper-based alloy with a high thermal expansion to detect temperature. Experiments show that the sensor possesses a high resonant frequency of 970 Hz, an acceleration sensitivity of 27.28 pm/g, and a high temperature sensitivity of 35.165 pm/℃. A resonant excitation test is also carried out that demonstrates the robustness and reliability of the sensor.

A miniaturized wideband CPW-fed V-shape patch with a folded surrounding slot structure is discussed in this work. The presented antenna, fabricated on a 30 × 20 × 1.6 mm 3 FR4 dielectric, exhibits a measured S 11 ≤-10 dB bandwidth from 2.39 GHz to 3.56 GHz; within this bandwidth, a gain larger than 0.6 dBi is found. Compactness and wideband characteristics yield this antenna a valid choice for Wireless LAN 2.4-2.7 GHz and Wi-MAX 2.5/3.5 GHz.

In this paper a new approach for the optimization of a double truncated corner microstrip square patch antenna is proposed by exploiting method-of-moments (MoM) calculator of Matlab Antenna Toolbox. A problem solution is iteratively updated according to the optimization criteria, i.e., find the minimum axial ratio (AR) at the target frequency within the impedance bandwidth S11≤-10 dB. An update mechanism for the optimization variable domains is implemented to refine the solution step-by-step. In the proposed example it is found that this approach converges to a feasible solution in few steps (less than an hour).
