Universal quantum computation with optical four-component cat qubits

We propose a teleportation-based scheme to implement a universal set of quantum gates with a four-component cat code, assisted by appropriate entangled resource states and photon-number-resolving detection. The four-component cat code features the ability to recover from single-photon loss. Here we propose a concrete procedure to correct the single-photon loss, including detecting the single-photon-loss event and recovering the initial states. By concatenating with standard qubit error-correcting codes, we estimate the loss threshold for fault-tolerant quantum computation and obtain a significant improvement over the two-component cat code.

The method based on the fusion of radar and video in this paper is oriented to detecting surrounding objects while driving. This is usually a method of improving robustness and accuracy by using several senses, which makes sensor fusion a key part of the perception system. We propose a new fusion method called CT-EPNP, which uses radar and camera data for fast detection. Adding a central fusion algorithm on the basis of EPNP, and use the truncated cone method to compensate the radar information on the associated image when mapping. CT-EPNP returns to the object attributes depth, rotation, speed and other attributes. Based on this, simulation verification and related derivation of mathematical formulas are proved. We combined the improved algorithm with the RetinaNet model to ensure that the model is satisfied with the normal driving of the vehicle while gaining a certain increase in the detection rate. We have also made a certain improvement in ensuring repeated detection without using any additional time information.

Rate-compatible spatially coupled repeat-accumulate codes via successive extension

A rate-compatible spatially coupled repeat-accumulate (RC-SC-RA) code is proposed. Its protograph is obtained by extending a given (J, K, L) SC-RA coupled chain (denoted as the mother chain) with extra check nodes and parity bit nodes T times. At each time, the extension is realized via coupling the message bits in the same way as that in the mother chain. Rate-compatibility is achieved by adjusting the extension parameters and applying random puncturing technique. Density evolution analysis shows that the iterative decoding thresholds of all the member codes in the proposed RC-SC-RA code family are very close to Shannon limits over the binary erasure channel. Finite length simulation results are consistent with the thresholds well. Moreover, the proposed RC-SC-RA codes perform better than spatially coupled low density parity check (SC-LDPC) codes in decoding performance especially in lower-rate region.

An Iterative Deep Homography Network Based on Correlation Content Calculation for High-Precision Image Registration of Fly-Capture Imaging System

This article presents a novel iterative deep homography network based on correlation content calculation (IDHN-CCC) for high-precision image registration of a fly-capture imaging system. The new high-precision fly-capture imaging (HFI) system is designed to obtain high-resolution images of radar microwave components (RMCs) and improve surface defect detection efficiency and autonomy while reducing hardware costs. The HFI consists of four subsystems: image acquisition mechanism, control system, image registration algorithm, and software system, which could achieve clear capture and precise imaging of RMC at high speed. The system adopts the IDHN-CCC algorithm to reduce the impact of motion errors on imaging stitching quality, which does not rely on precise camera motion positioning and coordinate transformation to achieve high-precision registration of multiple continuous shooting images. The experimental studies demonstrated the advantages of the IDHN-CCC-based HFI, which can achieve RMC images in low overlap rate fly-capture scenes with high registration accuracy.

Cholesky decomposition is a well-known decomposition for positive definite matrix. On account of its significantly fundamental roles in linear algebra and matrix theory, there are a lot of researches and applications based on it. In recent years,solving time-varying problems has been a research hotspot, but Cholesky decomposition of matrix stream（i.e., continuous timevarying matrix） in a simple, direct and effective equation-solving manner remains a challenging issue. In this paper, the problem of Cholesky decomposition of matrix stream is attempted and solved. First, with the aid of Zhang neurodynamics（ZN）, the objective equation at time-derivative level, including the time derivatives of matrix variable and its transpose, is obtained. In order to handle the objective equation with transpose of unknown, Kronecker product, vectorization technique and vectorized transpose matrix are utilized for better derivation. Thus, a ZN solution model using pseudo-inverse is proposed and numerically experimented. Finally, numerical experiment results substantiate the efficacy of the pseudo-inverse type ZN solution model.

In gas turbine rotor system fault diagnosis intelligent method based on data-driven is an important means to monitor the health status of gas turbine, it is necessary to obtain sufficient effective fault data to train the intelligent diagnosis model. In the actual operation of gas turbine, the collected gas turbine fault data is limited, and the small and imbalanced fault samples seriously affect the accuracy of fault diagnosis method. Aiming at the imbalance of gas turbine fault data, an Improved Deep Convolutional Generative Adversarial Network (Improved DCGAN) suitable for gas turbine signal is proposed, an structural optimization on generator of Deep Convolutional Generative Adversarial Network (DCGAN) and gradient penalty improvement on the loss function are introduced to generate effective fault data and improve the classification accuracy. The experiment results of gas turbine test bench demonstrated that the proposed method generated effective fault samples as a supplementary set of fault samples to balance the dataset, effectively improved the fault classification and diagnosis performance of gas turbine rotor in the case of small samples, The proposed method can be used as a solution to the problems of small unbalanced fault samples, and provides an effective method for gas turbine fault diagnosis. © 2021, CC BY.

Two biomaterial types have been the focus of sensor applications: Fluorosilicate bioactive Glass \text{BG}-\mathrm{F}-{6} crude and compact. Of the two, \text{BG}-\mathrm{F}-{6} compact material show the greater mechanical strength, and electrical behaviour provoke greater humidity sensing capacity. Thus, the glassy discs show great potential for deployment in a new generation of biosensors and environment requires. The aim of this paper is to develop a material that combines an interesting mechanical strength, monophasic stability with potential thermic resistance and great electrical capacity. By returning to its high temperature synthesis protocol, makes this fluorosilicate glass an attractive material for sensors development topic and environmental precautions. © 2020 IEEE.

Aluminum nitride (AlN) thin film has considerable properties, which makes it advantages for a variety of applications. AlN films were prepared by plasma-enhanced atomic layer deposition (PEALD) with the growth temperature of 100 to 450 ℃. The properties of AlN films with various growth temperatures were studied systematically. In addition, AlN/GaN layers deposited on sapphire (Al 2 O 3 ) substrates were also investigated. The AlN/GaN interfaces and AlN/Al 2 O 3 interfaces characteristics were analyzed. The optical property of GaN films prepared on sapphire substrate with and without AlN buffer layer were identified by Photoluminescence measurement. The experiment result shows that crystal AlN films became to present at 250 ℃ with a hexagonal wurtzite structure. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy investigation shows that AlN films contain Al-O, Al-O-N complexes and Al-Al metallic aluminum bonds except the main Al-N bond confirmed by high resolution Al 2p and N 1s spectra. High-resolution transmission electron microscopy measurement reveals sharp interfaces of AlN/Al 2 O 3 and AlN/GaN. The obtained lowest lattice mismatch of AlN/Al 2 O 3 and AlN/GaN are 11.0% and 2.1%, respectively. Photoluminescence measurement further confirms that AlN buffer layer enhances the quality of GaN grown on sapphire substrates. High quality AlN/GaN layers prepared by PEALD provides a promising pathway towards high quality GaN-based devices. © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

communication-centric Integrated Sensing and communication (ISAC) has been recognized as a promising methodology to implement wireless sensing functionality over existing network architectures, due to its cost-effectiveness and backward compatibility to legacy cellular systems. However, the inherent randomness of the communication signal may incur huge fluctuations in sensing capabilities, leading to unfavorable detection and estimation performance. To address this issue, we elaborate on random ISAC signal processing methods in this article, aiming at improving the sensing performance without unduly deteriorating the communication functionality. Specifically, we commence by discussing the fundamentals of sensing with random communication signals, including the performance metrics and optimal ranging waveforms. Building on these concepts, we then present a general framework for random ISAC signal transmission, followed by an in-depth exploration of time-domain pulse shaping, frequency-domain constellation shaping, and spatial-domain precoding methods. We provide a comprehensive overview of each of these topics, including models, results, and design guidelines. Finally, we conclude this article by identifying several promising research directions for random ISAC signal transmission. © 2025, CC BY-SA.
