Color harmony is an important factor affecting the aesthetic feeling of images and plays an important role in visual perception. It can evaluate the feasibility of images by constructing the computational model of human aesthetic thinking. In this paper, a color harmony evaluation method based on color complexity was implemented. Given the classical color harmony model which is suitable for the simple color combination but not suitable for the complex image, and the local feature redundancy caused by grid sampling, an adaptive sampling based on CCM(color complexity measure) was implemented. Then, K-means was adopted to extract local color harmony features. Finally, a model was constructed between local color harmony features and the overall color harmony by SVM. The results show that the method implemented in this paper can represent the color harmony of complex images accurately and effectively.

The convenience and economy of non-four-wheel motor vehicles are favored, and the number of non-four-wheel motor vehicles is rapidly increasing. However, it also brings some problems to road traffic safety management. The traffic management department has put forward a series of management measures, and how to recognize its license plate has become the premise. This paper realizes the license plate recognition by preprocessing the original image, license plate positioning, character segmentation, character recognition and other processes, and achieves the expected effect, which has reference significance for the research of license plate recognition.

Modeling spatio-temporal sequences is an important topic yet challenging for existing neural networks. Most of the current spatio-temporal sequence prediction methods usually capture features separately in temporal and spatial dimensions or employ multiple mutually independent local spatio-temporal graphs to represent a spatio-temporal sequence. The first kind of method mentioned above is difficult to mine the complex spatio-temporal correlations, while the other is limited for the accuracy of long-term predictions. To handle these issues, this paper proposes a Transformer-Improved Graph Convolution Network for spatio-temporal prediction. Specifically, the temporal location encoding method is exploited to derive the spatio-temporal characteristics of the sequence utilizing a spatio-temporal feature fusion network. In addition, a spatio-temporal attention network is developed to enhance the spatio-temporal correlation of the sequence, and the dynamic spatial features of sequence are further extracted through the adaptive graph convolution network. A private dataset and a public dataset are employed to demonstrate the performance of the proposed TIGC-Net. The qualitative and quantitative results show that the proposed TIGC-Net can extract dynamic spatiotemporal properties more effectively, enhance the spatio-temporal correlation of sequences and improve the prediction accuracy compared with four stateof-the-art. © 2022, The Authors. An attitude correction method of spinning bodies based on radial gyroscopes

The attitude error originated from the characteristic error of longitudinal gyroscopes mounted in spinning and flying bodies is diverging rapidly and far larger than that originated from the attitude algorithm error. To address this problem, an attitude correction method of spinning bodies based on radial gyroscopes is proposed in this paper. The effect of gyroscope measurement error is deduced based on the angular motion model of spinning bodies. The attitude correction is deduced in detail and the attitude update process is provided as well. The simulations are made considering stochastic error, different spinning speeds and different magnitudes of characteristic error. The results show that the gyroscope measurement error has a big effect on attitude update and the validity of the attitude correction method is verified by the improved accuracy. © 2020 Computer Society of the Republic of China. To violate Kirchhoff's law is very important in the areas of thermal radiation. However, due to the weak nonreciprocity in natural materials, it is necessary to engineer novel structures to break the balance between emission and absorption. In this work, we introduce magneto-optical material into Fibonacci photonic crystals. Assisted by the nonreciprocity of the magneto-optical material and the excitation of Tamm plasmon polaritons, strong nonreciprocal thermal radiation can be realized. The difference between absorption and emission at wavelength of 16 μm can reach 0.9 at the incident angle of 60o. The distributions of the magnetic field are also calculated to verify the underlying physical origin. By engineering the parameters of the structure, it is found that strong nonreciprocal thermal radiation can be achieved at shorter wavelength and smaller incident angle. The results indicate that the Fibonacci magnetophotonic crystals are the promising candidate to engineer the nonreciprocal emission for various requirements. Copyright © 2021, The Authors. Cortical spreading depression (CSD) waves are widely recognized as the pathophysiological mechanism underlying migraine aura. Modeling the macroscopic phenomenological characteristics of CSD wave propagation is challenging due to the inability to capture biophysical features, while microscopic studies based on excitatory–inhibitory (E/I) neuron pairs struggle to link effectively with wave propagation behaviors. In order to couple the electrical activity of micro neurons with the macroscopic propagation behavior of the cortex, we adopt a network perspective and constructed a dual-layer ring network model. Within this unified framework, we identify four factors influencing CSD instigation and propagation: (i) the type and number of pathological neurons, (ii) the extracellular potassium concentration, (iii) the ratio of excitatory to inhibitory connections within the cortical network, and (iv) the architecture of network connectivity incorporating both short and long-range connections. Model results indicate counterintuitively that the number of initially pathological neurons does not significantly correlate with CSD propagation duration. The extracellular potassium concentration required for CSD instigation within the network is lower than that for single neurons, suggesting that coexisting cluster discharges alongside CSD may contribute to the comorbidity of epilepsy and migraine. An excessive imbalance in the E/I ratio can induce global re-entrant and retracting phenomena of CSD, whereas a higher proportion of long-range connections within the network can effectively reduce the probability of such occurrences. These findings suggest that designing intervention strategies that comprehensively consider these influential factors can effectively decrease the instigation probability of CSD or enhance the stability of brain networks during CSD propagation.

When the single radio frequency (single-RF) Ultra-Wideband (UWB) wireless positioning system composed of DW1000 faces multi-target positioning, because each tag is located in sequence, the positioning period is usually long, and it cannot well meet the needs of multi-target high-speed positioning. This paper proposes to extend three DW1000 modules on the basis of a single-RF anchor to form a triple radio frequency (triple-RF) anchor. Each DW1000 module on the triple-RF anchor can perform ranging with a single-RF mobile tag with the same channel, respectively. When the three DW1000 modules on the triple-RF anchor use different channels, they can work in parallel and locate three tags at the same time. The Time of Arrival (TOA) and Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA) positioning algorithms are respectively applied to triple-RF anchor, the experimental results show that the number of positioning in the triple-RF anchor using the TOA and TDOA algorithms in the same time reaches 2.41 and 2.66 times that of single-RF anchor respectively, which can effectively improve the positioning speed in multi-target scenarios.

Multi-perspective digital image correlation method using a single color camera

A novel 3 D digital image correlation(DIC) system based on a single three charge-couple device(3 CCD) color camera is proposed in this paper. Images from three different perspectives are captured by a 3 CCD camera using a reflective-based pseudo-vision system. These images are then separated by the different CCD channels, and the correlation algorithm for the multi-camera DIC system is adopted to evaluate the images. Compared to the conventional multi-camera DIC system, the proposed system is much more compact. In addition, the proposed system has no loss of spatial resolution, compares to the traditional single camera DIC system. The complex surface measurement ability and the measurement accuracy is significantly improved through the use of the multi-camera DIC algorithm. The principle of the proposed system is described in detail as well as the experimental setup. A series of validation tests are performed, and the results are verified with the commercial 3 D-DIC system.

Beatbox is a performance form of vocal percussion, which is gradually favored by people with continuous development in recent years. With the abundance of Beatbox content on the Internet, the research on its automatic classification becomes very significant. In this article, we mainly using machine learning methods, to identify the beatbox timbre. First of all, we collected 900 Beatbox audio materials and constructed a database. Secondly, 14 acoustic parameters of audio material are extracted by the signal processing method. Finally, we used MultilayerPerceptron, SMO, BayesNet, RandomForest in current machine learning to build a training model for BB timbre classification. The Experimental results showed that the model could classify BB timbre well.
