Aiming at solving the problem of low unloading sensitivity, bad dynamic performance and poor stability of high-pressure and large-flow relief valve in hydraulic support system, a new differential type of high-pressure and large-flow relief valve, functioned by high water-based hydraulic medium, is designed. Through analysing the influence of spool form, elastic element, and working principle on valve performance, a structural scheme of large-flow and high-pressure safety valve is put forward. The three-dimensional fluid-solid coupling model of differential safety valve is established;through ADINA software, three-dimensional fluid-solid coupling simulation of relief valve's orifice from shutdown to full opening is carried out to analyse the distribution of internal pressure in the flow field of the safety valve and the pressure change of the structure field. The physical simulation model of safety valve is established by using AMESim software, and the dynamic performance of safety valve is simulated under the given signal of nominal flow and small flow. According to the design structure, the safety valve with the rated flow of 3000 L/min is manufactured and tested. The simulation and experimental results show that the safety valve has good dynamic performance and high sensitivity.. © 2019 Institution of engineering and technology. All rights reserved.

Internet of Things (IoT) is a promising networking paradigm that connects various kinds of sensors and exchanges data from smart devices. Since IoT always related to user’s daily life, the problems of security and privacy are of great importance. Presently, the attribute based encryption (ABE) is a popular solution to guarantee the fine-grained sharing of encrypted data in IoT. In this paper, an attribute based keyword search with lightweight decryption in multi-authority (ABKS-LD-MA) is proposed. Our system supports multi-keyword search in cloud by using searchable attribute based encryption. We also integrate the lightweight decryption to searchable ABE scheme that largely reduces the computing overhead for users. Furthermore, our ABKS-LD-MA scheme supports multi-authority scenario, which is more adaptive to the real IoT environment. The experiment analysis shows that our scheme has relatively lowered the communication cost on IoT devices. © 2019, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

In recent years, with the rapid development of mobile Internet technology and intelligent mobile terminal equipment, mobile learning has been widely used in various teaching modes and attained good teaching effectiveness. By introducing the mobile learning mode into the electric circuit teaching in universities and combining with the traditional teaching mode, this paper discussed the notion of the application of Wechat platform to create a learning environment. Then elaborated the designing of mobile learning environment mode and the evaluation mechanism of learning effectiveness, and finally presented and analyzed the data obtained from the new teaching mode. Through nearly three years of application of the mode into the teaching for students majoring in electric automation, the mobile learning effectiveness has become gradually outstanding, compared with the learning method applied in the traditional teaching mode. The number of the students involved in mobile learning in the past three years has increased from 60% to 96.75,%. And the passing rate has risen from 50% to 86.7%. In general, the new teaching methodology has become popular with the students. © 2019 IEEE.

Preferred Hierarchical control Strategy of Non-Point Source Pollution at Regional Scale

Non-point source (NPS) pollution has wide range of sources. Under rainfall conditions, NPS pollution occurs mainly by overland flow, resulting in difficult governance. In this study, based on the cooperative analysis of critical periods (CPs) and critical source areas (CSAs), a preferred hierarchical control strategy of NPS pollution, which was connected with management units, was proposed in the Danjiangkou Reservoir Basin (DRB) to improve the pertinence of NPS pollution control. The practicality of the grid-based CSA identification results was improved by point density analysis (PDA). CPs, sub-CPs, and non-CPs were identified on the temporal scale;CSAs, sub-CSAs and non-CSAs were identified on the spatial scale. The results showed that CPs (July, April, and September), sub-CPs (May, March, and August), and non-CPs contributed 62.8%, 31.1%, and 6.1% of the annual TP loads, respectively. Furthermore, we proposed a hierarchical NPS pollution control strategy: class Ⅰ (CSAs in CPs) → class II (sub-CSAs in CPs, CSAs in sub-CPs) → class III (non-CPs, non-CSAs, sub- and non-CSAs in sub-CPs). Class Ⅰ covered the periods and areas with the highest NPS pollution loads, contributing 26.2% of the annual load within 14.5% of the area and 25.0% of the time. This study provides a reference for the targeted control of NPS pollution at regional scale, especially in environmental protection with limited funds. © 2021, CC BY.

Co-saliency detection, as a developing research branch of saliency detection, devotes to identify the common salient objects in a group of related images. The major challenge of co-saliency detection is how to effectively represent features considering both intra-image and inter-image information. In this paper, we propose a co-saliency detection model using collaborative feature extraction and high-to-low feature integration. We first feed the target image and its co-images into the Individual Feature Extraction Module (IFEM) to produce multi-level individual features. Then, to capture the collaborative inter-image information, the Collaborative Feature Extraction Module (CFEM) is applied to all highest-level individual features, generating the collaborative feature. Finally, we build a High-to-low Feature Integration Module (HFIM), which integrates the collaborative feature and multi-level individual features of the target image, to enrich the collaborative feature with individual intra-image information. Extensive experiments on two public datasets demonstrate that the proposed model achieves the state-of-the-art performance.

In this paper, we consider covert beamforming design for intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) assisted Internet of Things (IoT) networks, where Alice utilizes IRS to covertly transmit a message to Bob without being recognized by Willie. We investigate the joint beamformer design of Alice and IRS to maximize the covert rate of Bob when the knowledge about Willie’s channel state information (WCSI) is perfect and imperfect at Alice, respectively. For the former case, we develop a covert beamformer under the perfect covert constraint by applying semidefinite relaxation. For the later case, the optimal decision threshold of Willie is derived, and we analyze the false alarm and the missed detection probabilities. Furthermore, we utilize the property of Kullback-Leibler divergence to develop the robust beamformer based on a relaxation, S-Lemma and alternate iteration approach. Finally, the numerical experiments evaluate the performance of the proposed covert beamformer design and robust beamformer design. © 2021, CC BY.

Rapid growing interregional and interprovincial trade in energy, industrial products, and agricultural goods, mainly from Northern to Southern China, helps the social-economic development of the nation but potentially causes environment inequity. The latter is, however, less known. This study examines the trade-driven transfer of nitrogen emissions and simulates subsequent total atmospheric inorganic nitrogen (TIN) deposition in China for 2017, focusing on potential ecological impacts and environmental disparities resulting from interprovincial trade, particularly the north-south transfer of virtual nitrogen emissions. TIN depositions exceeding critical load, indicating adverse effects on ecosystems across China related to trade activities, are quantified. Findings reveal significant environmental inequity in outsourcing goods and services through trade, demonstrating that trade-driven TIN deposition has negatively impacted the ecosystem in Northern China. In 2017, the southern and eastern coastal provinces experienced the highest net outflows of atmospheric nitrogen pollutants, transferring 462.85 and 411.34 kilotons of NO x and 230.95 and 349.49 kilotons of NH 3 , respectively, to less developed provinces that export energy and agricultural products to these well-developed regions. Interprovincial trade reduced the total atmospheric TIN deposition by 0.03, 0.14, and 0.16 Tg N·yr −1 in Beijing-Tianjin, the eastern coastal region, and the southern coastal region, respectively, through the procurement of goods and services. Our results also indicate that interprovincial trade exacerbated environmental inequities to Northern and Western China. Notably, Inner Mongolia experienced the most severe environmental inequity through its trade with other provinces in China, resulting in a 4.38 % increase in areas where TIN deposition exceeded the critical load.

Underwater images contain an interactive mixture of distortions due to the physicochemical property of water and the instability of imaging systems, which differ from those in natural images. We cannot obtain the pristine underwater image as the reference applied in the traditional benchmark databases, and the groups of gradual distortions either. In this paper, a novel preselection based preference label evaluation method is proposed to construct a combined subjective test procedure for an extended preference judgment dataset of underwater images. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first subjective evaluation procedure for underwater images, and also a solution for an expanding visual preference benchmark database. We demonstrate the excellent correlation of the proposed subjective evaluation with the traditional image quality assessment. It is also proven that the proposed subjective evaluation procedure could reflect the slight change of image quality and the authentic quality of a picture more accurately better than the traditional methods. © 2019 IEEE Computer Society. The technology of vehicle and driver detection in Intelligent Transportation System(ITS) is a hot topic in recent years. In particular, the driver detection is still a challenging problem which is conductive to supervising traffic order and maintaining public safety. In this paper, an algorithm based on YOLOv3 is proposed to realize the detection and classification of vehicle, driver and people on highway, so as to achieve the purpose of distinguishing driver and passenger and form a one-to-one correspondence between vehicles and drivers. The proposed model and contrast experiment are conducted on our self-build traffic driver’s face database. The effectiveness of our proposed algorithm is validated by extensive experiments and verified under various complex highway conditions. Compared with other advanced vehicle and driver detection technologies, the model has a good performance and is robust to road blocking, different attitudes and extreme lighting. This paper implemented a current reconstruction system based on independent component analysis and magnetic field sensors. In this paper both the normal approximation and interfered approximation of magnetic flux density generated by current carrying conductors and sensed by four magnetic sensors are presented and discussed. The output voltage of the sensor array with and without interference was calculated based on the comprehensive independent component analysis algorithm. The relative reconstruction error based on the algorithm for array output voltage are within acceptable levels for protective devices proving the feasibility of the algorithm for source reconstruction. © 2019 IEEE.
