In this paper, multiple reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS) aided secure precise wireless transmission (SPWT) schemes are proposed in the three-dimensional (3D) wireless communication scenario. Unavailable direct path channels from transmitter to receivers are considered when the direct paths are obstructed by obstacles. Then, multiple RISs are utilized to achieve SPWT through the reflection path among transmitter, RISs and receivers in order to enhance the communication performance and energy efficiency simultaneously. First, a maximum-signal-to-interference-and-noise ratio (MSINR) scheme is proposed in a single user scenario. Then, the multi-user scenario is considered where the illegitimate users are regarded as eavesdroppers. A maximum-secrecy-rate (MSR) scheme and a maximum-signal-to-leakage-and-noise ratio (MSLNR) are proposed. The former achieves a better secrecy rate (SR) performance but incurs a higher complexity. The latter has a lower complexity than the MSR scheme with an SR performance loss. Simulation results show that both single-user scheme and multi-user scheme can achieve SPWT which transmits confidential message precisely to location of desired users. Moreover, MSLNR scheme has a lower complexity than the MSR scheme, while the SR performance is close to that of the MSR scheme. © 2020, CC0.

We give strong analytic and numerical evidence that, under mild measurement assumptions, two qubits cannot both be recycled to generate Bell nonlocality between multiple independent observers on each side. This is surprising, as under the same assumptions it is possible to recycle just one of the qubits an arbitrarily large number of times [P. J. Brown and R. Colbeck, Phys. Rev. Lett. 125, 090401 (2020)]. We derive corresponding one-sided monogamy relations that rule out two-sided recycling for a wide range of parameters, based on a general tradeoff relation between the strengths and maximum reversibilities of qubit measurements. We also show if the assumptions are relaxed to allow sufficiently biased measurement selections, then there is a narrow range of measurement strengths that allows two-sided recycling for two observers on each side, and propose an experimental test. Our methods may be readily applied to other types of quantum correlations, such as steering and entanglement, and hence to general information protocols involving sequential measurements.

Many accidents now take place due to over-speed, drowsiness and drunken drivers. Statistics show that every four minutes people die in 2017 because of traffic crashes and thousands of accidents in India, which are higher in numbers than any other accidents, where people have died. But in the case of rescue indicators their lives may have been spared. We are also going to incorporate our thoughts on steps to mitigate the crash and precautionary measures. This proposal immediately identifies the precise location of the crash by GPS and allows GSM to transmit the data to the nearest rescue car, the police department and the individual’s family members. Accident can be detected by the accelerometer sensor and accident magnitude can be detected by the tilt sensor. The tilt angle of the chassis can be monitored. The driver’s sleepiness can be detected with a DMD. The driver’s somnolence is sensed and the driver is alerted by alarm by calculating the percentage of eyelid closing over the period. Through this tool, the speed of a car can be measured, who is responsible for the crash and the direction of GPS can be seen with the mobile theft detection program. Both data can be analyzed using the sensor value in a microcontroller and sent to the cloud site. The main benefits of the device are cost efficient, stable and victim-friendly, fast savings in energy usage, greater precision, time efficiency and the risk of human error are reduced.

This paper proposes an optimization model for community microgrid. The proposed scheme performs the scheduling of domestic appliances in a community microgrid using renewable energy resources. The objective of the scheme is to minimize the total operating cost in the whole community. The optimization problem is solved using the branch and bound algorithm. Blockchain (BC) technology is introduced for secure implementation of the proposed approach. Machine to machine interaction is facilitated using BC technology. The transaction information/ data is stored in the distributed shared ledger. The smart contract is used to automatically trigger the flow of electricity and the movement of funds once the necessary conditions are met. © 2019 IEEE.

Devices capable of deterministically manipulating the photonic entanglement are of paramount importance, since photons are the ideal messengers for quantum information. Here, we report a Rydberg-atom-based entanglement filter that preserves the desired photonic entangled state and deterministically blocks the transmission of the unwanted ones. Photonic entanglement with near-unity fidelity can be extracted from an input state with an arbitrarily low initial fidelity. The protocol is inherently robust, and succeeds both in the Rydberg blockade regime and in the interaction-induced dissipation regime. Such an entanglement filter opens new routes toward scalable photonic quantum information processing with multiple ensembles of Rydberg atoms. © 2022, CC BY.

With the continuous breakthrough of various technologies, speech recognition technology has become a research hotspot. It is a way to find out the phenomenon of bullying in time by detecting whether the voice contains campus bullying vocabulary. In practical applications, an infinite network is established through sensors to transmit information, and the occurrence of campus bullying events is prevented in time. This paper studies the theory of support vector machine and its application in speech recognition. In order to identify bullying vocabulary, this paper firstly built a voice library with 250 voice audios, including 125 campus bullying word audios and 125 non-bullying audios. The first sub-frame of the speech signal was used for endpoint detection. Then mode decomposition and Fourier transform were applied. The maximum value of the primary frequency spectrum was extracted as the acoustic feature. Finally, 200 audios in the database were used for training, and 50 audios were used for speech recognition testing. The average recognition accuracy was 94%, indicating that the support vector machine theory showed a good advantage in the case of small samples for speech recognition. © ICST Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications engineering 2019 Published by Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2019. Asynchronous data fusion is more practical than synchronous data fusion, the model of track-to-track fusion in this case has been established and the concept of Track Quality with Multiple Model (TQMM) was put forward, furthermore a data fusion algorithm is proposed, in which the TQMM is used to assign weights, to improve tracking precision in asynchronous multi-sensor data fusion system. A flexible Kapton-based coplanar waveguide-fed (CPW) patch antenna has been designed in this work to operate in different wireless applications. The wideband operation and compact size of the antenna is enabled using a simple rhombic-shaped integrated onto the monopole which was designed using a rectangular patch. The proposed broadband antenna model operated below -10dB at 2.45 GHz and 3.5 GHz for the WLAN/WBAN and 5G band, respectively. The antenna optimization process is explained when varying the ground structure, patch dimensions, feed width, and substrate thickness using FEKO software. The performance of the antenna is studied in terms of radiation efficiency, gain, bandwidth and current distributions. Results indicate that the proposed antenna operates throughout the 2.45 and 3.5 GHz bands, with a bandwidth of 1710 MHz.

Efficiently controlling linear Gaussian quantum (LGQ) systems is a significant task in both the study of fundamental quantum theory and the development of modern quantum technology. Here, we propose a general quantum-learning-control method for optimally controlling LGQ systems based on the gradient-descent algorithm. Our approach flexibly designs the loss function for diverse tasks by utilizing first- and second-order moments that completely describe the quantum state of LGQ systems. We demonstrate both deep optomechanical cooling and large optomechanical entanglement using this approach. Our approach enables the fast and deep ground-state cooling of a mechanical resonator within a short time, surpassing the limitations of sideband cooling in the continuous-wave driven strong-coupling regime. Furthermore, optomechanical entanglement could be generated remarkably fast and surpass several times the corresponding steady-state entanglement, even when the thermal phonon occupation reaches one hundred. This work will not only broaden the application of quantum learning control, but also open an avenue for optimal control of LGQ systems. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The generation and storage of spin squeezing is an attractive topic in quantum metrology and the foundation of quantum mechanics. The major models to realize the spin squeezing are the one- and two-axis twisting models. Here, we consider a collective spin system coupled to a bosonic field, and show that proper constant-value controls in this model can simulate the dynamical behavior of these two models. More interestingly, a better performance of squeezing can be obtained when the control is time varying, which is generated via a reinforcement learning algorithm. However, this advantage becomes limited if the collective noise is involved. To deal with this, we propose a four-step strategy for the construction of a type of combined controls, which include both constant-value and time-varying controls, but performed at different time intervals. Compared to the full time-varying controls, the combined controls not only give a comparable minimum value of the squeezing parameter over time, but also provide a better lifetime and larger full amount of squeezing. Moreover, the amplitude form of a combined control is simpler and more stable than the full time-varying control. Therefore, our scheme is very promising to be applied in practice to improve the generation and storage performance of squeezing.
