Under the multi-cloud environment of mobile communication networks, unattended terminals would possibly be involved in different tasks. For the network security, terminals should be authenticated by cloud service providers (CSPs) before being involved in various tasks. As a new cryptology primitive, Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) can be served as a trusted root for unattended terminals and provide security property against physical attacks, based on which physical secure authentication can be executed. However, applying the PUF directly to the multi-cloud environment caused the authentication scheme to rely on the storage of the primitive challenge-response pairs, and there was a single point of failure problem. To solve these issues, we propose an authentication and key agreement scheme named RSOPM for secure authentication between terminals and CSPs. Specifically, mutual authentication without the storage of the primitive challenge-response pairs on the cloud is enabled by exploiting the trapdoor collision property of the chameleon hash function. Moreover, the redactable blockchain containing distributed registration information makes a terminal register only once, and then the terminal gains access to the various CSPs. The security properties are discussed to show our scheme resists various attacks. The results of experiments show that the overall delay is reduced by 33 % compared to other multi-cloud authentication schemes. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper discusses the integration and application of digital twin technology within the manufacturing sector, underscoring its pivotal role in advancing the Industry 4.0 revolution. Digital twin technology, which creates dynamic virtual replicas of physical systems, facilitates enhanced simulation, analysis, and optimization of real-world processes. The implementation of this technology, illustrated through examples from NASA and the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory, demonstrates its significant contributions across the entire product lifecycle, including design, manufacturing, service operation, and maintenance. The paper introduces a comprehensive framework for a digital twin-based production line service system, leveraging the Internet of Things (IoT) technology and flexible simulation to enable real-time user-application interaction, front-end operation responsiveness, and efficient data management. This system enhances operational efficiency, reduces time-to-market, and improves issue prediction and mitigation through virtual-real mapping and debugging. An application case using MongoDB highlights the technology's adaptability and effectiveness in managing complex data structures. The study concludes that digital twin technology is instrumental in driving smart manufacturing, innovation, and maintaining a competitive advantage in the evolving industrial landscape. In cognitive radio, spectrum sensing is used to determine whether the primary user is using the spectrum based on the signal received on a specific frequency band, thereby determining whether the secondary user can use the spectrum. The main problem faced by spectrum sensing is how to identify the existence of the primary signal under the condition of low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). Compared with traditional technologies, deep learning methods can identify the features of input data more efficiently and accurately. Based on convolutional neural network (CNN), This paper regard spectrum sensing as a binary classification problem. In the method we proposed, different features of received are extracted, and a dataset of feature matrices obtained under different SNRs is constructed for the training of the CNN network. Experiment results show that under the condition of low signal-to-noise ratio, the performance of our method is improved compared with the traditional method, and the combination of different features can improve the sensing accuracy. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This article presents a novel distributed forward stimulated Brillouin scattering measurement scheme on polarization maintaining fiber (PM fiber) with a spatial resolution of 0.8 m named polarization separation assisted opto-mechanical time-domain analysis (PS-OMTDA). The activation pulse is injected into the fast axis and the probe pulse and probe wave is injected into the slow one, therefore, the acoustic wave is excited upon the fast axis but affected the probe wave on the slow axis. The backward Brillouin scattering of an activation pulse is effectively suppressed by isolating the acoustic activation and probing process. A spatial resolution of 80 cm is experimentally demonstrated over a PM fiber with a length of 34 m. © 2023 IEEE.

In the field of machine vision, algorithms for estimating optical flow in sequential images have been proposed for many years. However, due to the advancements in image resolution and video frame rates of sensor, the optical flow algorithm running on a CPU or a GPU may struggle to meet real-time processing and low power consumption requirements. This paper presents an FPGA-based accelerated method for high-speed LK optical flow estimation. We implemented a serial input and multi-window output buffer structure to enhance the algorithm's parallel processing capability and improve processing speed. Additionally, we designed a multi-clock convolution structure to reduce resource consumption. Tested on the Middlebury dataset, the FPGA-based LK optical flow algorithm developed in this paper can achieve a processing speed of 330 frames per second for image sequences with a resolution of 640x480. It also maintains a relatively high level of accuracy and has low power consumption. © 2024 SPIE.

Image segmentation plays a crucial role in target recognition as it provides an essential prerequisite for identifying targets. However, UNet cannot acquire comprehensive information about the image, which limits its ability to effectively segment small and discrete objects. A new network structure, called MorNet, is proposed. It applies dilation and erosion operations in morphological opening and closing for connected and discrete region segmentation. MorNet effectively integrates global segmentation images, emphasizing small and discrete area segmentation and enhancing the segmentation of large continuous areas. This method enhances the understanding of the location of organs and diseased sites, enabling accurate segmentation. A side-out (SO) monitoring mechanism is introduced into the decoder to provide monitoring information for the original image and the predicted results. Compared with current UNet-like networks, our proposed method achieved the highest Dice scores (96.4635%, 94.0514%, 94.3444%) and PPV scores (94.2226%, 90.2361%, 91.5582%) for liver tumor, brain tumor, and liver segmentation tasks, respectively. The experimental results show that MorNet successfully combines the segmentation of connected and discrete regions. MorNet locates organs and lesions more accurately than current state-of-the-art medical image segmentation models. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

This paper investigates the problem of optimizing the transmission schedule between a sensor and a relay in cyber-physical systems to achieve accurate remote state estimation. The considered system model represents the plant as a linear time-invariant system, wherein the sensor measurements are transmitted to the remote estimator using an intelligent relay. Both the sensor and relay nodes are capable of harvesting energy from the external environment, and they are required to make transmission decisions at each time step to ensure the stability of system's operation. In addition, energy sharing between each other can yield significant advantages by capitalizing on the available battery power and maximizing energy harvesting from the external environment. We describe the problem of finding the optimal transmission schedule as a dynamic programming model, and establish structural properties on the optimal schedule of the sensor and relay nodes, more precisely, (i) for given battery levels and harvested energy, the optimal transmission strategy is to transmit the measurements when the error covariances at the relay and the remote estimator meet certain conditions, (ii) for given harvested energy and error covariances at the relay and the remote estimator, the optimal transmission strategy is a threshold-based strategy on the battery levels. © 2025 IEEE.

Memristors have also become one of the most promising research hotspots for solving data storage and computing problems faced in the big data era. As an emerging electronic device, memristor has potentially important applications in information storage and processing. This paper constructs a rod-shaped TiO2-x nanoscale memristor with FTO/TiO2-x/Cu structure, whose reliability is based on the memory behavior and its conversion mechanism. Research progress including materials, preparation methods, resistive switching mechanism and application prospects are described. First, the constituent materials of memristor are introduced, focusing on metal oxides and organic materials such as titanium oxide (TiO2). The choice of these materials is critical to memristor performance and applications. Secondly, the advantages and limitations of the preparation methods are discussed. Then the resistance switching mechanism of memristor was studied in depth, focusing on the generation principle and adjustment mechanism of memristor effect. These include important concepts such as charge migration, Schottky barrier formation and oxygen vacancy drift, which help to understand the electrical properties of memristors. In addition, we explore the prospects of memristors in practical applications. Finally, past and current work in this field is summarized, and the prospects and challenges of memristorrelated research are prospected. © 2023 IEEE.

Image segmentation has impressive progress in the past several *** good segmentation usually follows pixelwise well-annotated labels which is ***,the robustness would not be guaranteed due to lack-ofdiversity *** work usually focuses on pixels individually and pay less attention to the neighbor *** local context would be scarce and the global context is not utilized following these *** proposal a method,named Forest Semantic Segmentation Network(FSSNet) to address these *** organizes original version and augmented version of images,as two inputs into student branch and teacher branch,and force the two outputs being consistent to strengthen the robustness of our ***,we not only consider pixel itself and also the neighbor pixels because the context of neighbor pixels helps understanding the *** utilizes contrastive loss with memory bank to involve global context in training which will make pixels closer to others in same category and far away from pixels of different categories.A bank filter is suggested to improve the quality of features in the memory *** also proposal a new sample strategy to improve the effect of contrastive loss and reduce the *** method can improve accuracy and strengthen the robustness with affordable extra computation during training process,and no additional computation during inference toward *** to benchmark,the proposed approach can improve the mIoU by 3.1% on our challenging dataset.

In this paper, a high performance stacked bandpass filter based on frequency doubling suppression is proposed. The proposed filter consists of an interdigital structure and a stepped impedance resonator (SIR). The two structures are combined in a laminated manner and connected by vertical metal vias. The filter has compact size, excellent passband performance and wide stopband. The proposed miniaturized bandpass filter is expected to be applied in modern communication systems.
