The construction of the network frame for power outage system restoration target is a key link in accelerating the restoration process and reducing losses. Aiming at the fact that the commonly used random search intelligent algorithm needs to continuously iteratively correct, adjust the adaptability function, the process is complex, and the solution efficiency is low in solving such problems, a mathematical model considering the minimum reactive power, the shortest closing time and the node weight is established. On this basis, the energy function characterizing the optimization target and various constraints is constructed, and the energy function of the Hopfield neural network is used to directly obtain the optimal restoration target frame, and the algorithm steps are given. The proposed method is verified by using the IEEE-10 generators 39 node system, and the results show that the proposed method is feasible and effective. © 2022 IEEE.

Utilizing high-resolution antenna arrays and wide bandwidth of the millimeter-wave (mmWave) spectrum in 5G new radio (NR) mmWave communication systems holds the potential for high-throughput data transmission while enabling user localization and environmental mapping. However, the majority of existing simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) algorithms rely on methods akin to the extended Kalman filter for generating initial map features. These methods prove ineffective when the measurement dimension is insufficient. Furthermore, there is a notable absence of research exploring mmWave prototype systems to evaluate and compare the performance and viability of various SLAM algorithms. To address these challenges, we propose an innovative probability hypothesis density (PHD) generation scheme for birth events and have developed a prototype system. Our approach, referred to as PHD-SLAM, exhibits remarkable effectiveness even in scenarios where the measurement dimension falls short of map features. This means it can function seamlessly with only delay or angle information available. Additionally, we have designed a 28GHz mmWave beam scanning prototype system that leverages the 5G NR frame for accomplishing SLAM algorithms. Following this, we conducted extensive simulations and experimental evaluations to gauge the performance of several leading-edge SLAM algorithms under diverse mmWave circumstances, encompassing PHD-based and belief propagation (BP) SLAM algorithms. Our analysis reveals that both PHD and BP SLAM can achieve agent localization precision within a decimeter and mapping precision within a meter, capitalizing on the angle parameters of mmWave signals. While BP SLAM showcases reduced computational demand, its estimation precision is marginally inferior to that of PHD-SLAM. © 2014 IEEE.

Boron/nitrogen-co-doped carbon(BCN)nanosheets decorated with Fe_(2)O_(3) nanocrystals(Fe_(2)O_(3)–BCN)were cast on a glassy carbon electrode(GCE)and applied as an electrochemical sensor to effectively detect paraquat(PQ),a toxic herbicide,in aqueous environments.A linear experiment performed using square wave voltammetry(SWV)under optimized experimental conditions produced a decent linear relationship and a low detection limit(LOD)of 2.74 nmol/L(S/N=3).Repeatability,reproducibility,stability,and interference experiments confirmed that the Fe_(2)O_(3)–BCN/GCE system exhibited decent electrochemical sensing performance for PQ ***,the designed sensor showed high selectivity and a decent linear relationship with PQ concentration in natural water *** the best of our knowledge,this is the first study on the preparation of Fe_(2)O_(3)–BCN nanosheets for PQ *** proposed sensor can be employed as an effective alternative tool for distinguishing and processing PQ.

Within the theoretical framework of Naive Bayes(NB), Iterative Bayes(IB), as an important variant, was proposed to alleviate the attribute interdependence problem based on output adjustment technique and shows certain performance enhancement. However, like NB, IB also suffers from biased classification and poor robustness against noise on class imbalanced data. To address these problems, cost-sensitive learning is introduced, and by assigning fuzzy-membership values to training data, we propose a class of Fuzzy Weighted Iterative Bayes algorithms (FWIB-CE, FWIB-HE, FWIB-CL-HL) to integrate more prior information from the sample distribution. The experimental results on ten typical imbalanced datasets show our methods have significant outperformance over NB and IB under G-mean evaluation in classification and have higher robustness against noise interference. © 2022 IEEE.

The URLLC services have high stringent requirements for high reliability and low latency transmission. The TDM-PON based mobile edge computing (MEC) enabled cloud radio access network (CRAN) is an effective architecture to carry the URLLC services. However, how to ensure reliability and low latency requirements meanwhile decrease the deployment cost will be one of the major challenges in the network planning stage. A mathematical model and a heuristic algorithm are proposed to tackle such challenge towards demands of URLLC services. Simulation results suggest that proposed algorithm shows better performance in terms of low latency transmission than the benchmark algorithm, and achieves the near-optimal solution of MILP with an acceptable time complexity. Besides, impact of key parameters on comparison of different approaches in terms of total transmission latency consumption is also evaluated. © 2021 IEEE.

Background: The motorized spindle preload technology is one of the motorized spindle key technologies, and adjusting the preload according to the working conditions can effectively improve the dynamic performance of the motorized spindle and enhance the machining accuracy. Methods: Search for different kinds of patents and literature about spindle preload structure in recent years. Through structural research and comparison with the traditional preload mechanism, to review the structure principle of various preload mechanisms at the present stage, then shown the advantages and disadvantages of each structure. Result: According to the patents and research of the preload mechanism in recent years, classification introduced the piezoelectric ceramic preload device, electromagnetic preload device, and hydraulic preload device, and so on. Introduce their advantages and existing problems in detail, then comprehensively compare the advantages and disadvantages of various mechanisms in control and mechanism. Finally, discuss the prospects and development directions of preload technology. Conclusion: With the further development of technology, high-precision products have higher requirements for machine tools, such as low latency, low heat generation, high efficiency, and long life. People use electromagnetic force, air pressure, hydraulic pressure, and other methods, to control the magnitude of the preload, maintain the performance of the motorized spindle at a high level. The special geometry of ball-end milling tool is widely used in the precision machining and ultra-precision machining of complex surfaces. However, when enterprises are finishing, in order to ensure the processing quality, they often change the tool before the milling tool reaches the dull standard, increasing the production cost of the enterprise. In addition, different processing types also have different requirements for tool flank wear. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the flank wear of the ball-end milling tool during the machining process. In order to solve this problem, the cutting area in milling process is determined according to the cutting parameters and the geometric parameters of the ball-end milling tool, and the cutting force model based on the cutting area is constructed. At the same time, according to the material and geometric parameters of the tool, the wear model of the tool is constructed. The value of flank wear is determined by the calculated cutting force. Finally, using the high speed milling tool wear data set published in the PHM Society data Competition in 2010, the correctness of the wear model is verified by experiments and analysis. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

Wearable bioimpedance spectroscopy (BIS) devices are becoming increasingly popular due to their portability and low power consumption. However, improving power efficiency remains a significant challenge. One proposed solution is to reduce the number of excitation frequencies in the stimulation signal. This study investigates how reducing the number of used frequencies affects bioimpedance spectroscopy performance through simulations using synthetic data derived from a Cole-Cole model incorporating a Constant Phase Element (CPE). Simulations were conducted at various noise levels to evaluate how noise impacts the relationship between frequency and impedance. The results indicate a correlation between the number of frequencies used in BIS and the accuracy of CPE parameter extraction. This is particularly evident for α parameters of 0.8 and higher. Conversely, lowering the α value increases errors, even when a higher number of frequencies is used. © 2024 IEEE.

Background: The bionic water strider robot can achieve sliding, jumping, and other movements on the water surface, having advantages of small size, light weight, flexible movements, and other characteristics. It can detect the quality of water, investigate and search the water surface, and perform some other operations. It has a very broad range of applications and development prospects. Therefore, the trend of biomimetic water strider robots is attracting more and more attention. Objective: This study aimed to review the bionic water strider robot and introduce its classification, characteristics, and development. Methods: This paper reviews various productions and patents related to the bionic water strider robot from 2003 to the present. The sources of the papers include CNKI, Wanfang, Patent publication an-nouncement in China, Web of Science, IEEE, Elsevier, Springer-Verlag, Espacenet, and FPO IP Research & Communities. To obtain the results, an endnote was used for documentation, and citeSapce was used for visual analysis. Results: The mechanical structure of existing bionic water strider robots has been analyzed and com-pared. Furthermore, the typical characteristics are concluded. The main problems in its development are analyzed, and the development trend is foreseen. Furthermore, the current and future research prospects of the productions and patents on the bionic water strider robot are discussed. Conclusion: The optimization and development of the structure of the bionic water strider robot and the development of associated components help to improve the simulation of the water strider's motion and perform a better task in a complex water surface environment. In the future, with the improvement in the research, the bionic water strider robot will develop into miniaturization, intelligence, and integration. © 2022 Bentham Science Publishers.

Simple Full-Spectrum Correlated k-Distribution Model based on Multilayer Perceptron

While neural networks have been successfully applied to the full-spectrum k-distribution (FSCK) method at a large range of thermodynamics with k-values predicted by a trained multilayer perceptron (MLP) model, the required a-values still need to be calculated on-the-fly, which theoretically degrades the FSCK method and may lead to errors. On the other hand, too complicated structure of the current MLP model inevitably slows down the calculation efficiency. Therefore, to compensate among accuracy, efficiency and storage, the simple MLP designed based on the nature of FSCK method are developed, i.e., the simple FSCK MLP (SFM) model, from which those correlated k-values and corresponding ka-values can be efficiently obtained. Several test cases have been carried out to compare the developed SFM model and other FSCK tools including look-up tables and traditional FSCK MLP (TFM) model. Results show that the SFM model can achieve excellent accuracy that is even better than look-up tables at a tiny computational cost that is far less than that of TFM model. Considering accuracy, efficiency and portability, the SFM model is not only an excellent tool for the prediction of spectral properties, but also provides a method to reduce the errors due to nonlinear effects.
