Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fundamentals, as a crucial mandatory component of social practice, plays a significant role in fostering students' innovative consciousness and entrepreneurial capabilities. Addressing the deficiency in integrating ideological and political elements within traditional curricula, a novel pedagogical approach has been proposed, one that is grounded in the “Four Orientations” and characterized by an immersive, distinctive ideological and political curriculum model. This model ingeniously weaves distinctive ideological and political components into the foundational course of innovation and entrepreneurship. An eclectic course evaluation framework has been established, which integrates the assessment of ideological and political content with the curriculum's subject matter, thereby harmonizing the evaluation criteria across various assessment phases. The construction of ideological and political courses more effectively integrates ideological and political education into professional instruction, achieving dual objectives of knowledge dissemination and value shaping. This approach aims to cultivate a new generation of youth endowed with an innovative spirit and a sense of social responsibility for the benefit of the nation and society.

La0.8Sr0.2CrO3-ITO thermocouples were successfully fabricated by screen printing. The La0.8Sr0.2CrO3 powder used for screen printing was obtained by the sol-gel method. The highest thermal voltage output was maintained at 270 mV at 1270°C. The microstructure of La0.8Sr0.2CrO3 and ITO electrode films were analysed by SEM. Thermoelectric response test was implemented to measure the performance of La0.8Sr0.2CrO3-ITO thermocouple by three times of thermal cycles. The results indicated that La0.8Sr0.2CrO3-ITO thermocouple showed good stability at high temperature. Copyright © 2022 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.

To improve the safety of stage lifts’ operation and reduce the failure rate, a digital-twin assisted fault prediction method is proposed here. Signals such as vibration and temperature are collected from the virtual and physical models. A fault prediction model based on Graph Convolutional Networks (GCN) is constructed to identify the potential faults of stage lift. The experiment results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed model. It would enhance the safety and stability of stage equipment, and provide reliable support for stage performances.

There is a significant difference in correlated color temperature between deep-space environmental light sources and that on the ground. The lack of accurate calibration parameters for cameras can lead to errors in the collected scientific image data, resulting in the failure of scientific tasks. Thus it is of vital significance to accurate white balance calibration for deep-space-exploration cameras. However, traditional white-balance methods have certain limitations. The generalization ability of the white balance correction matrix is insufficient, the ground calibration methods have poor on-orbit adaptability, and deep space exploration targets are unknown and uncertain. To this end, we proposed an on-orbit white balance calibration method for deep-space-exploration cameras based on correlated correlated color temperature interpolation. Aiming to the deep space environment background, four pre-calibrated illuminations with different correlated color temperatures are selected reasonably. Before solving the white balance calibration matrix, we stretch the image grayscale in different exposure times to ensure the brightness balance and obtain the optimal white balance matrix, which improves the generalization ability of the matrix. Finally, by interpolating the pre-calibration white balance matrixes based on the on-orbit environmental correlated color temperature, the average color difference can be reduced by 28 (72.54%) DE2000 color difference units. © 2024 SPIE.

Non-linear MIMO technology is proven to work out the excessive power consumption issue caused by the base station with more than 100 antenna pairs that have been adopted for the Internet of Vehicles (IoV). However, the non-linear MIMO scheme applied in the IoV scenario does not consider the real-world channel with the characteristics of vehicle motion. In addition, traditional channel estimation (CE) in non-linear MIMO technology are not robust under the variation of channel parameters in IoV.A channel estimation scheme of Half Phase Only (HPO)-MIMO based on Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is proposed, which can get more accurate channel estimation results and achieve perfect robustness for changing channel parameters. Besides, the COST 2100 channel model is used, which is more suitable for simulating the IoV scenarios. Moreover, the channel estimation scheme based on CNN al-gorithm can be used favorably in the non-linear MIMO and IoV scenarios. Simulation results show that the CNN-based CE scheme we proposed achieves outstanding mean squared error (MSE) performance compared to the Generalized Approximate Messaging (GAMP) algorithm. Furthermore, the rationality of using the COST 2100 channel model is proven that have excellent performances. © 2022 IEEE.

Virtual Reality Head-Mounted Display (HMD), also known as VR glasses, is a typical amusement device that provides an immersive viewing experience based on virtual reality technology in cultural tourism equipment. Various factors may cause users to experience different degrees of sensory discomfort when using VR head-mounted displays, posing potential safety risks during performances. This study focuses on typical VR glasses used in cultural tourism performances and evaluates user comfort as the primary indicator. Through subjective evaluation experiment design, it examines the impact of motion conditions, internal scene settings, and VR glasses configuration on users’ comfort perception. The research aims to provide theoretical analysis and experimental data to reduce performance safety risks.

Halved-Phase Only MIMO (HPO-MIMO) can alleviate the problems of high complexity and high power consumption of conventional MIMO. However, due to amplitude loss, HPO-MIMO cannot adopt the conventional receiver scheme. We propose an HPO-MIMO Channel Estimation (CE) scheme based on model-driven deep learning. Specifically, we use the Generalized Approximate Message Passing (GAMP) algorithm to generate preliminary channel estimation results. Then the Deep Neural Network (DNN) is used to refine the estimation values to obtain more accurate channel estimation results. Simulation results indicate that the presented DNN-based scheme retains the preponderance of the traditional GAMP algorithm but performs better than the latter. When the Mean Square Error (MSE) is -20dB, there is a Signal-Noise Ratio (SNR) gain of about 13dB between them. In addition, the DNN channel estimation method based on GAMP is proved suitable for different antenna sizes, antenna distances, and user densities. © 2022 IEEE.

The comparator is essential in analog-to-digital converters (ADC). This paper analyzes different improvements in the designs of comparators. In order to improve the energy efficiency, the dynamic bias comparator was developed, and it also reduces the input-referred noise. A floating reservoir design was then adopted to solve some weaknesses of the dynamic bias comparator and further increases energy efficiency. On-chip inductors and charge pumps were also implemented to perfect the performance of the comparator. These two changes improve delay performance, and the first one reduces power consumption simultaneously. The last update was an energy-efficient ring oscillator collapse-based comparator. It adjusts the performance of the comparator without any external control and then makes the energy consumption achieve a minimum value without energy scaling. At the same time, this comparator has a wider resolution tuning capability. © 2022 SPIE.

Zoom optical systems are versatile, serving applications from daily life, including photography, monitoring, and microscopy, to aerospace and national defense construction. With increasing applications, their performance standards are escalating. This paper introduces a 50mm-150mm three-configuration continuous zoom optical system. Employing a positive compensation structure, it achieves optical zoom in the visible band (390nm-760nm). Composed of six spherical glass lenses, it boasts a compact design with a total length of 40mm and a max aperture of 66mm, ensuring an F-number superior to 5 at long focal lengths. This system meets miniaturization demands while maintaining a high MTF (>0.32) across the entire field of view in the visible light band. The design fulfills high-performance criteria and offers valuable insights for the design of visible-band zoom optical systems with high magnification ratios and miniaturized footprints. © 2024 SPIE.
