Protic ionic liquids (PILs) have emerged as innovative solvents with significant potential for CO2 capture and transformation, presenting a sustainable alternative to conventional methods which often involve energy-intensive processes or environmentally detrimental chemicals. Herein, a novel strategy for CO2 capture and conversion at mild conditions using non-stoichiometric protic ionic liquids (NPILs) was demonstrated for the first time. These NPILs, employed as sorbents, solvents, and catalysts, were composed of imidazole (Im) and 1,8-diazabicyclo [5.4.0] undec-7-ene (DBU) in various ratios. Correlations between the mole ratio of DBU/Im and physicochemical properties such as viscosity, conductivity, thermal stability, and the distribution of neutral and ionic species were systematically investigated. Effects of the absorption temperature and CO2 partial pressure on the absorption capacity were also studied. Different absorption mechanisms, including carbonate and carbamate pathways, were analyzed using FT-IR and NMR spectroscopy. Moreover, the fixed CO2 could be catalytically converted to quinazoline-2,4(1H,3H)-diones under exceptionally mild reaction conditions (1atm, 50 °C, metal-free process). A plausible reaction mechanism involving simultaneous CO2 activation and substrate activation for the transformation of CO2 into quinazoline-2,4(1H,3H)-diones was verified through NMR spectra. It is believed that the new insights into the CO2 mechanism will facilitate the rationaldesign of functional ionic liquids for CO2 capture, utilization, and storage in the future. © 2024, The Authors. Input-output feedback linearization is a nonlinear control method that relies on a precise dynamical model. Combining Q -learning techniques, an input-output feedback linearization correction framework is presented to accomplish model-free feedback linearization of affine nonlinear systems in order to tackle the problem caused by the unknown dynamics model. This framework formulates a model reference tracking control problem that guides the input-output relationship of the nonlinear system into a linear relationship. Due to the two Lie derivative terms present in the feedback linearized controller, the controller is designed as a dual network structure. To overcome the issue of coupling in the dual-network controller, a model-free Q -learning method is presented to solve the unknown controller network weights. The proposed method is experimentally validated on a single-link flexible joint manipulator system, and the resultant linearized system exhibits dynamics similar to the desired linear system in a new tracking task, proving the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Short videos on the Internet have a huge amount, but most of them are unlabeled. In this paper, a rough short video labelling method based on the image classification neural network is proposed. Convolutional auto-encoder is applied to train and learn unlabeled video frames, in order to obtain feature in the specific level. With these features, the video key-frames are extracted by the feature clustering method. These key-frames which represent the video content are put into an image classification network, so that the labels of every video clip can be got. In addition, the different architectures of convolutional auto-encoder are estimated, and a better performance architecture through the experiment result is selected. In the final experiment, the video frame features from the convolutional auto-encoder are compared with those from other extraction methods, where it illustrates remarkable results by the proposed method.

The power supply in rail transit signal system is the major power source of the devices. During service, the temperature of power supply changes dynamically, which influence its degradation. The degradation of power supply will directly affect the function of other devices in system. Therefore, it is significant to evaluate the remaining useful life of power supply under variable temperature to ensuring the operation reliability of signal system. The particle filter method has been widely used for the life prediction of industrial products, as it can solve the life prediction problem of nonlinear system. Nevertheless, the predicted effect of this method is highly depended on the state of particles. For the power supply with sudden degradation, the particle impoverishment problem is happened, which cause a significant predicted variance. To solve the problem, this paper proposed an enhancement particle filter life prediction method. The effectiveness of the proposed method was evaluated using the mutated ripple voltage of power supply under variable temperature conditions. The results indicate that this method can sufficiently reduce the estimation variance by identifying the region where the degradation is evident, as well as by sustaining particle diversity. Based on this method, the precise life prediction results of the power supply can be acquired. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In this study, bandgap engineering of amorphous (InxGa1-x)2O3 alloy films fabricated at room temperature using pulsed laser deposition and alloy targets with different indium contents from 0% to 50% have been investigated. The effect of indium content on the characteristics of (InxGa1-x)2O3 films and the performance of metal-semiconductor-metal solar-blind photodetectors have been explored in detail. The moderate number of indium atoms introduced into Ga2O3 can obtain a flat surface morphology and adjusted bandgap to enhance the performance of solar-blind photodetector. When the excessive indium atoms were incorporated into the film, the obviously In-rich (InxGa1-x)2O3 alloy nano-clusters are observed on the film surface despite of the low growth temperature. It can be attributed to the segregation phenomenon because of the solid solubility limitation for indium in Ga2O3. Both of dark current and photocurrent of (InxGa1-x)2O3 photodetector increase with the incremental indium content mainly attributed to enhanced oxygen deficiency. As a result, the solar-blind photodetector can achieve an optimal performance using a balanced indium content of 20% with an extremely low dark current of 4.4×10-12 A, a responsivity of 10.8 mA/W, a substantial on/off current ratio of 1.5×104 and a short rise/decay time of 0.33 s/0.54 s. © 2024, The Authors. Investigation of amorphous (InxGa1-x)2O3 alloy films modulated by indium content for optimization in solar-blind photodetector

Bandgap engineering using (InxGa1-x)2O3 alloy structure can be a promising technique towards enhancing the performance of solar-blind photodetectors due to its tunable optical and electronic properties. In this study, amorphous (InxGa1-x)2O3 alloy films have been fabricated at room temperature using pulsed laser deposition and alloy targets with different indium contents from 0% to 50%. The effect of indium content on the characteristics of (InxGa1-x)2O3 films and the performance of metal-semiconductor-metal solar-blind photodetectors have been explored in detail. As the increase of indium content, the narrowing bandgap may be contributed to the lower forbidden gap of In2O3 and the lattice disorder induced by the corporation of In into the films. The moderate number of indium atoms introduced into Ga2O3 can obtain a flat surface morphology and adjusted bandgap to enhance the performance of solar-blind photodetector. When the excessive indium atoms were incorporated into the film, the obviously In-rich (InxGa1-x)2O3 alloy nano-clusters are observed on the film surface despite of the low growth temperature. To improve the disturbance rejection ability and repetitive tracking accuracy of manipulators,a composite iterative learning control(ILC) scheme via generalized proportional integral observer(GPIO) is proposed.A high-order polynomial is first employed to model the time-varying disturbances that include unmodeled dynamics,parameter uncertainties and load fluctuations.A GPIO is then designed to estimate the disturbances and high-order time *** introducing estimations into a PD-type ILC at each iteration,a composite control scheme is obtained,such that the undesirable influence of time-varying disturbances can be effectively attenuated in the repetitive tracking process of *** this paper,the rigorous stability analysis of the closed-loop system is presented to guarantee that the tracking error exponentially converges to zero as the iteration number tends to *** effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is finally verified by simulation results.

Similarity transformation problems are important in robotic instrumentation and computer vision based measurements since in many cases the information of visually observed scene scale is unknown and must be restored for accurate 3-dimensional reconstruction. In existing solvers, the scale is often considered as a scalar, i.e., isotropic, which may be invalid for anisotropic-scale setups. This paper exploits some mathematical coincidences that will lead to efficient solution to these problems. Possible further applications also include hand-eye calibration and structure-from-motion. We revisit pose estimation problems within the framework of similarity transformation, the one that considers scale-stretching, rotation and translation simultaneously. Two major problems are taken into account, i.e., the scale-stretching point-cloud registration and perspective-n-points (PnP). It has been found out that these two problems are quite similar. Moreover, we solve the anisotropic-scale registration problem that is important and is a remaining unsolved one in previous literatures. To compute the globally optimal solution of these non-convex problems, algebraic solution is obtained to compute all local minima using computationally efficient methods. The designed algorithm is deployed for robotic-arm pose estimation. We also extend the algorithm for solving the problem of robust magnetometer calibration. Visual pose experiments verify the superiority of the proposed method compared with representatives, including P3P, Lambda-Twist P3P and EPnP, which can be reproduced by repository in https://***/zarathustr/APnP. In order to monitor the crystallization process of L-glutamic acid online,a real-time detection method based on non-invasive image analysis has been proposed to obtain in-situ images,and a deep-learning based network Mask RCNN is applied to detect target crystals in *** deep-learning network requires an enormous amount of dataset with labelled region of interest(RoI)samples,this paper proposes semi-automatic labelling methods to reduce human work when generating the *** applying another Mask R-CNN for labelling the dataset,human work can be reduced from labelling the whole dataset to filtering the detection results of the labeller Mask *** final detection results prove the feasibility of this *** proposed method is also proved to be more feasible and reliable than transfer learning.
