Gerchberg-Saxton (GS) method is the most classical iterative method of generating the phase-only hologram, while the initial random phase leads to the degradation and fluctuation of the reconstructed image quality. In this paper, a simple and effective iterative method is proposed to optimize the phase-only hologram for high-quality and stable reconstruction. The proposed method is based on the hybrid phase and a modified GS method. The hybrid phase is composed of the quadratic phase and random phase with a weighted parameter γ. Two weighted parameters a and ß are introduced to modify the GS method. Numerical simulation results show that the hybrid phase can effectively suppress the fluctuation caused by the random phase and improve the quality of the reconstructed image. © 2022 IEEE.

The liquid accumulation in long distance coal-bed-methane gathering and transportation pipeline will hinder the effective gas transport and accelerate pipeline corrosion. Liquid level measurement techniques, which are a crucial step to overcome these liquid-accumulation-related problems, are mostly either invasive or inaccurate due to the fluctuation of liquid phase. Concerning the limitation of the traditional level measurement technique, a clamp-on liquid level measurement method using ultrasonic Lamb waves is proposed. According to the dispersion curve in the circular pipe, the optimum operating mode and excitation parameters are determined. During experiments, the nonlinear relationship between vertical pipeline liquid level and Lamb wave amplitude is obtained. Meanwhile, the ability of identifying liquid level changes is improved by the algorithm of denoising and filtering the received signal. Based on the results, the proposed measurement can be used for liquid level measurement and provides a potential of flow condition measurement of gathering lines.

Currently, a large number of community integrated energy systems operate independently and lack coordination and cooperation with each other. On the whole, the complementary coupling potential between energy production and consumption has not been fully explored, which is not conducive to the efficient utilization of clean energy. To solve the above problem, this paper proposes an optimal scheduling model of community integrated energy system considering integrated demand response and carbon tax. Moreover, based on cooperative game theory, this paper adopts the Sharpley value to achieve fair and reasonable distribution of cooperation profits. The case study results indicate that the energy sharing model proposed in this article can achieve better economic benefits.

In the future, large-scale integration of new energy into the grid is an inevitable trend. In order to effectively analyze the trend and random characteristics of wind power output, a wind power scenario simulation method is proposed. It is divided into scene generation and scene reduction. In the scenario generation part, historical data is used to construct an improved wind power forecast box model, and a non-parametric kernel smooth distribution is used as a fitting function, and then a multivariate standard normal distribution matrix and inverse transform sampling method are used to generate a set of wind power output scenarios that conform to autocorrelation. In the scene reduction part, a BR scene reduction model is constructed to obtain wind power curves representing several original scene characteristics. Taking the wind power output data of the German TenneT Electric Power Company as an example, the probability calibration BS indicator is used as the quantitative evaluation standard for the generated scene, and the case analysis is carried out. Finally, it shows that the scenario simulation method is effective and reasonable, and it is also of great significance to the planning and operation of the wind power system. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Addressing the challenge of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) navigating indoors without satellite positioning, this study introduces a novel method combining binocular camera and inertial measurement unit (IMU) data. This approach overcomes the structural differences between visual and inertial information, integrating them effectively for enhanced indoor autonomous navigation. The research presents a gradient-free path planning framework, pivotal for enhancing the UAV's ability to execute efficient and stable flight in intricate indoor settings. The cornerstone of this system is an advanced path planning algorithm, adept at swiftly identifying optimal routes and adapting to environmental shifts. The system's efficacy was rigorously evaluated through simulations and real-world tests, confirming its precision in positioning and path planning without reliance on satellite data. The findings demonstrate the system's capacity for precise localization and effective route determination, utilizing an integration of visual and inertial inputs. This research significantly contributes to the autonomous flight capabilities of UAVs, offering a valuable reference for future UAV autonomous navigation systems. By delving into visual-inertial fusion navigation technology, the study paves the way for expanded indoor UAV applications.

With the rapid development of space technology, the demand for satellite reliability is getting higher and higher. Momentum wheel is a key component of satellite attitude control system, and its reliability is an important factor affecting the life of satellite. The condition monitoring of momentum wheel bearing (MWB) is of great significance to ensure the long life and high reliable operation of the satellite. In this paper, a new monitoring method based on multivariate statistics and canonical variable analysis (CVA) is proposed, and a new health degree function is defined from both dynamic and static aspects. First, the time-frequency domain analysis technique is used to extract the features of MWB in time domain, frequency domain and time-frequency domain, and the multi-domain high-dimensional health condition feature set is constructed. Then, in order to reduce the complexity of the problem, feature reduction is realized based on CVA. On the basis of considering steady-state error and sliding interval variance (SIV), the health degree (HD) characterizing the performance condition of MWB is defined. Finally, the experimental results based on the bearing test-bed show that the proposed method is feasible and effective, and the data-driven health condition monitoring of satellite momentum wheel bearing is realized.

As one of the indispensable materials in modern industry, high precision and high efficiency defect detection of strip weld has become an important part of production and quality control. In response to the shortcomings of the existing strip weld detection technology with low detection accuracy, this paper proposes a deep learning based strip weld defect detection and classification technique. First, the CBAM attention mechanism is introduced into the network structure to improve the attention to important features; second, the traditional convolution layer is replaced by using the dilated convolution to reduce the computation while increasing the perceptual field; finally, the original ReLU activation function is replaced by the PReLU activation function to effectively overcome the problem of neuron death in the Relu activation function. The improved model finally achieves a recognition rate of 98.1% in the test set, which is 22.1% higher than that of the unimproved model, greatly improving the accuracy and robustness of the algorithm.

Task-Centered Heterogeneous Multi-Robot Cooperative Task Allocation and Planning: An Welding Case Study

In this article, the complicated task assignment, scheduling and planning of heterogeneous multi-robot welding process are studied. Firstly, for large-scaled tasks that involve heterogeneous multi-robot task allocation under different internal and external constraints, the traditional multi-robot task allocation (MRTA) framework is extended to a novel and unified heterogeneous multi-robot task allocation (H MRTA)***,robotsofdifferentconfigurations (including manipulators, positioners, gantries) are treated as unified robots. Secondly, taking into account constraints such as reachability, collision avoidance, kinematic and dynamic process constraints, the optimization model based on H-MRTA framework is established. The optimization objectives are formulated by combining the total execution time and load balance between robots. Then, a hierarchical optimization algorithm(TCO-HMRTA) is proposed to solve the H-MRTA problem with decoupled two-layer optimization sub-problems : task space segmentation subproblem and multi-robot path planning subproblem. For the task space segmentation subproblem, a task-centered optimization model is established, which aims to balance the workload among robots, considering the competition and cooperation between robots. For the multi-robot path planning problem, multiple process constraints are considered and the total working time is minimized as the objective function. Finally, The effectiveness of the optimization algorithm is verified by a case study on the welding task of a large plate element in a ship hull. Compared to two other state-of-the-art algorithms, TCO-HMRTA can save more than 50% of the waiting time and 10%-20% of the execution time, which demonstrates the effectiveness and feasibility of the hierarchical optimization-based task allocation algorithm for complicated heterogeneous multi-robots. © 2024, The Authors. This paper investigates the charging scheduling problem within an Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EVCS), aiming to coordinate multiple charging piles to optimize the charging process. The objectives are to increase the profit for the Charging Station Operator (CSO) and enhance user satisfaction while mitigating significant fluctuations in grid load. However, since these objectives originate from different stakeholders, they are inherently conflicting;a strategy trained using fixed objective weights cannot satisfy all of them simultaneously. Additionally, uncertainties such as vehicle arrival and departure times, power requirements, and grid tariffs complicate the modeling of this process. To address these challenges, this paper reformulates the scheduling process as a Markov Decision Process (MDP) and proposes a novel model-free reinforcement learning method. By integrating randomly varying objective preferences into the inputs of agents, a set of policies corresponding to different objective preferences can be learned through a single training session. As a result, agents can execute various policies to satisfy the stakeholders’ needs based on these preferences. Moreover, a sampling adjustment strategy is introduced to improve the uniformity of the final non-dominated solution set and enhance the ability of the agent to explore the objective space. Experiments show that the proposed method can effectively solve the multi-objective problem of cooperative charging within an EVCS. Compared to the baseline method, the proposed method can achieve superior results while simultaneously reducing the computational cost to a significant extent. © 2014 IEEE.
