With the development of fine-grained multimodal sentiment analysis tasks, target-oriented multimodal sentiment (TMSC) analysis has received more attention, which aims to classify the sentiment of target with the help of textual and associated image features. Existing methods focus on exploring fine-grained image features and incorporate transformer-based complex fusion strategies, while ignoring the heavy computational burden. Recently, some lightweight multilayer perceptrons (MLP)-based methods have been successfully applied to multimodal sentiment classification tasks. In this article, we propose an effective rearrangement and restore mixer model (RR-Mixer) for TMSC, which dedicates the interaction of image, text, and targets along the modal-axis, sequential-axis, and feature channel-axis through rearrangement and restore operations. Specifically, we take vision transformer (ViT) and robustly optimized BERT (RoBERTa) pretrained models to extract image and textual features, respectively. Further, we adopt cosine similarity to select the most semantically relevant image features. Then, an RR-Mixer module is designed for mixed multimodal features, with the core technology consisting of rolling, grouping rearrangement and restore operations. Moreover, we introduce MLP Unit to learn the information of different modalities for intermodal interaction. The results show that our model achieves superior performance on two benchmark multimodal datasets, TWITTER-15 and TWITTER-17, with a significant improvement of 4.66% and 1.26% in terms of macro-F1. © 2020 IEEE.

In recent years, the combination of deep reinforcement learning and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to achieve autonomous flight has been a hot research field. In this paper, an obstacle avoidance navigation algorithm (PA-SAC) based on priority experience buffer pool (PEBP), attention, and Soft-Actor-Critic (SAC) is proposed to solve the continuous space obstacle avoidance navigation problem of UAVs by using a deep reinforcement learning algorithm. In the two simulation experiments, the success rate of the PA-SAC algorithm was 95.6% in the known environment and 73% in the unknown environment. These results demonstrate that the PA-SAC algorithm can achieve autonomous obstacle avoidance for UAVs with deep image input. © 2023 IEEE.

Due to the significant increase in data transmission speed and gradual increase in Doppler frequency shift, channel estimation accuracy has become one of the most prioritized considerations in many cases. Specifically, we propose an attention-based channel estimation network with a residual mechanism, named TRCE-Net. In our design, the use of the multi-head attention mechanism at the input of the encoder is to obtain richer feature details. A linear series decoder module is implemented by leveraging multiple residual networks with skip connections. This novel design is capable of improving the channel estimation accuracy after deepening the network while effectively preventing degradation. To lessen the number of parameters that the network needs to learn, we introduce the bi-linear interpolation mechanism to replace the traditional up-sampling layer to mitigate both computational overhead and model complexity. According to the simulation results, our proposed TRCE-Net is superior to other state-of-the-art methods with regard to estimation accuracy and robustness to different maximum Doppler shifts, such as ResNet and InterpolateNet. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The field of sequential recommendation plays a crucial role in personalized recommendation systems, aiming to model users' past interactions and predict their future interactions with items or behaviors. Traditional methods in sequential recommendation typically rely on user behavior history and item attributes for making recommendations, but they overlook the internal relationships and contextual information among items within a sequence. Moreover, existing autoencoder models face limitations in capturing long-term dependencies and effectively modeling contextual information for sequential recommendation tasks. To address these issues, we propose a novel framework called miSAASRec that leverages a multi-information autoencoder with a self-attention module to capture internal relevance and contextual features of the data. This enables miSAASRec to achieve more accurate and comprehensive data encoding, thereby enhancing the performance of the autoencoder. We conducted several experiments to demonstrate the superior performance of our miSAASRec model compared to existing methods, achieving improvements ranging from 7.92% and 32.20% in MRR (Mean Reciprocal Rank) and 9.00% and 28.90% in Recall@10. © 2023 IEEE.

A Novel Lightweight IoT Intrusion Detection Model Based on Self-knowledge Distillation

The Internet of Things (IoT) environment contains many different types of devices, each with different functionalities, communication protocols, and security capabilities, which makes the IoT a complex challenge for security protection. Therefore, network intrusion detection (NID) is needed to detect intrusions in the network to secure the IoT. In recent years, deep learning-based intrusion detection systems have achieved excellent results, but they tend to require high computational resources and storage space, which is not feasible for most IoT devices. In this paper, we propose a lightweight intrusion detection model based on self-knowledge distillation, namely TBCLNN, which improves the detection accuracy while also reducing the number of model parameters and computational cost. Specifically, we use the binary Harris Hawk optimization algorithm for dimensionality reduction of traffic features. We use lightweight convolution, such as Tied Block Convolution (TBC), to design lightweight neural network models with residual and inverse residual structures. Moreover, we propose an improved self-knowledge distillation loss function to solve the sample imbalance problem and compensate for the performance degradation caused by lightweight neural networks. The multiclassification accuracy of our proposed method exceeds 99% on all three publicly available IoT datasets. The experimental results show that our method has a small model size and requires only low computational resources, making it suitable for resource-constrained IoT intrusion detection. © 2014 IEEE.

Remarkable progresses have been made in hyperspectral image (HSI) denoising. However, the majority of existing methods are predominantly confined to the spatial-spectral domain, overlooking the untapped potential inherent in the Fourier domain. This paper presents a novel approach to address HSI denoising by bridging the information from the Fourier and spatial-spectral domains. Our method highlights key insights into the Fourier properties within spatial and spectral domains through the Fourier transform. Specifically, we note that the amplitude inherently embody noise and photon reflection characteristics, while the phase holds structural information. These insights unveil new perspectives on the physical properties of HSIs, motivating us to leverage complementary information exchange between Fourier and spatial-spectral domains. To this end, we introduce the Fourier-prior Integration Denoising Network (FIDNet), a potent yet straightforward approach that utilizes Fourier insights to synergistically interact with spatial-spectral domains for superior HSI denoising. In FIDNet, we independently extract spatial and Fourier features through dual branches and merge these representations to enhance spectral evolution modeling through the inherent structure consistency constraints and continuing reflection variation revealed in Fourier prior. Our proposed method demonstrates robust generalization across synthetic and real-world benchmark datasets, achieves comparable results with state-of-the-art methods in both quantitative quality and visual results. Several newly developed techniques and tools for manipulating images, audio, and videos have been introduced as an outcome of the recent and rapid breakthroughs in AI, machine learning, and deep learning. While most applications for these techniques or tools are in the fields of entertainment and education, some individuals with unlawful intent have also been benefited from them. These individuals use such techniques for various purposes, including the spread of misleading information and unnecessary propaganda, the incitement of political instability, hate and unrest, as well as for purposes of torture and blackmail. These high-quality and convincing manipulated images, audio, or videos are commonly referred to as ‘Deepfakes’. Since then, various solutions to the problems raised by Deepfakes have been proposed in academic studies. This literature review contains relevant publications that offered a variety of approaches to give an updated summary of the research activities in different types of Deepfake attacks, their detection, and countermeasures. It also assesses the effectiveness of the detection capabilities of different techniques with various datasets and algorithms applied in Deepfake detection, while also outlining the various benefits and drawbacks of various methodologies. © 2024 IEEE.

Shield tunnel lining is prone to water leakage,which may further bring about corrosion and structural damage to the walls,potentially leading to dangerous *** avoid tedious and inefficient manual inspection,many projects use artificial intelligence(Al)to detect cracks and water leakage.A novel method for water leakage inspection in shield tunnel lining that utilizes deep learning is introduced in this *** proposal includes a ConvNeXt-S backbone,deconvolutional-feature pyramid network(D-FPN),spatial attention module(SPAM).and a detection *** can extract representative features of leaking areas to aid inspection *** further improve the model's robustness,we innovatively use an inversed low-light enhancement method to convert normally illuminated images to low light ones and introduce them into the training *** experiments are performed,achieving the average precision(AP)score of 56.8%,which outperforms previous work by a margin of 5.7%.Visualization illustrations also support our method's practical effectiveness.
