In this article, the power control and interference pricing problems between the macro base station (MBS) and small cell base stations (SBSs) in Heterogeneous networks (HetNets) are investigated. To optimally allocate power resources and effectively manage the power resources to reduce interference in HetNets, an innovative Stackelberg differential game approach is proposed. In the proposed Stackelberg game, the SBSs control their transmit power to achieve cost minimization based on the interference price offered by the MBS. Given the optimal power control strategies of SBSs, the MBS can adjust the interference price to realize the objective optimization. Renewable energy sources are introduced into the proposed HetNets, and differential equations formulate the SBSs' dynamic energy. Meanwhile, the MBS's state is given by the dynamic spectrum resources. Then the differential game is imported to achieve optimal power control and interference pricing. The open-loop Nash equilibrium solutions are first analyzed for the MBS and SBSs. Then the feedback Nash equilibrium solutions are given. Under the feedback pattern, the proposed model's performances in the non-cooperative and cooperative situations are discussed. Numerical simulations are given to show the convergence and effectiveness of the proposed game approach. © 1967-2012 IEEE.

In recent years, soft grippers have gained significant attention due to their adaptability and safety. However, when performing horizontal object grasping, their limited structural stiffness prevents them from withstanding the torque generated by friction between the gripper and the object, leading to a loss of contact and limiting their horizontal load capacity. To address this limitation while preserving the adaptability of soft grippers, this paper proposes a gripper structure called the rigid-soft robotic hand, which incorporates lateral rigid connecting rods outside the soft joints. The paper analyzes the bending capacity of the rigid-soft joint using kinematic methods and investigates the influence of link design parameters on maximum bending angle. Subsequently, a finite element analysis is conducted to study the finger structure with the added connecting rods, aiming to optimize the link design parameters. Experimental results demonstrate the grasping capabilities of the rigid-soft gripper in both vertical and horizontal orientations. The findings show that the rigid-soft gripper significantly improves the load-carrying capacity during horizontal object grasping while maintaining the adaptability of the soft gripper. © The Authors.

Video stream analytics (VSA) systems fuel many exciting applications that facilitate people’s lives, but also raise critical concerns about exposing too much individuals’ privacy. To alleviate these concerns, various frameworks have been presented to enhance the privacy of VSA systems. Yet, existing solutions suffer two limitations: (1) being scenario-customized, thus limiting the generality of adapting to multifarious scenarios, (2) requiring complex, imperative programming, and tedious process, thus largely reducing the usability of such systems. In this paper, we present X-Stream, a privacy-preserving video transformer that achieves flexibility and efficiency for a large variety of VSA tasks. X-Stream features three major novel designs: (1) a declarative query interface that provides a simple yet expressive interface for users to describe both their privacy protection and content exposure requirements, (2) an adaptation mechanism that dynamically selects the most suitable privacy-preserving techniques and their parameters based on the current video context, and (3) an efficient execution engine that incorporates optimizations for multi-task deduplication and inter-frame inference. We implement X-Stream and evaluate it with representative VSA tasks and public video datasets. The results show that X-Stream achieves significantly improved privacy protection quality and performance over the state-of-the-art, while being simple to use.

The application of BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology in the field of transportation infrastructure digitization is the current development trend. However, the practical implementation of BIM in transportation infrastructure faces challenges such as inconsistent data standards, low information transfer efficiency, and fragmented information across different life cycles. This paper summarizes the current status and hot spots of BIM data management research through an in-depth literature review, analyzes the problems and shortcomings of existing different forms of BIM data management technology, and a prospect for its future development was proposed in the discussion. The study shows that the file-based BIM data management solutions can hardly meet the BIM data access requests of today's transportation infrastructure conveniently, securely, and efficiently, and the management solutions based on a single type of database can hardly have good performance while compatible with BIM data of multiple structures due to the heterogeneity of data sources. Therefore, future BIM data management must be based on unified data standards (such as Industry Foundation Classes), combined with NewSql-related technologies to achieve high-performance and highly scalable BIM data management to share and exchange data more conveniently and efficiently. © 2023 IEEE.

Benign brain tumors (BT) are the least dangerous type and arise from brain cells or cells surrounding the brain. Benign tumors grow slowly and do not spread to other body parts. Benign brain tumors have distinct borders. They put the normal brain under stress and interfere with physical and mental function. It is also referred to as a non-cancerous BT. The acquisition of magnetic resonance images introduces noise, and removing this noise is complex. BT has tentacles and diffuse structures, making precise segmentation difficult. Another critical task is to select and extract the best features and the appropriate number of training and test samples to improve the classification. Deep learning (DL) models have received much attention because feature learning happens automatically. However, it necessitates a substantial amount of computing power and memory. As a result, lightweight models with high accuracy and fast computation times were developed. This paper is present on ML and DL model for analysis of BT detection and calculated accuracy. The ML classification i.e. K-NN achieves 78.74% accuracy, LR achieves 81.53% accuracy, VC achieves 86.9% accuracy and DL LSTM achieves 94.07% accuracy. It is clearly that the LSTM technique is provides good accuracy compared to other ML technique.

The digital software of transportation infrastructure is the foundation of digital transportation. With the development of information technology, its software technology architecture is also evolving iteratively. Based on the status quo in the field of transportation infrastructure engineering, the core basic capabilities of the software are determined, including data aggregation and storage, data analysis and processing, engineering data delivery, engineering visualization, system integration expansion, application customization development, etc. The characteristics of the existing software architecture are studied, and the logical architecture of the transport infrastructure data software system is designed, including operation support layer, convergence storage layer, data service layer, and application service layer. In addition, the technical reference architecture and operation architecture of digital software for transport infrastructure are emphatically introduced, and the development trend of digital software architecture for transport infrastructure has been prospected. © 2023 IEEE.

Streaming graph processing needs to timely evaluate continuous queries. Prior systems suffer from massive redundant computations due to the irregular order of processing vertices influenced by updates. To address this issue, we propose ACGraph, a novel streaming graph processing approach for monotonic graph algorithms. It maintains dependence trees during runtime, and makes affected vertices processed in a top-to-bottom order in the hierarchy of the dependence trees, thus normalizing the state propagation order and coalescing of multiple propagation to the same vertices. Experimental results show that ACGraph reduces the number of updates by 50% on average, and achieves the speedup of 1.75~7.43× over state-of-the-art systems.

Microaneurysms (MAs) in fundus images are a crucial indicator for the early detection of diabetes and the treatment of diabetic retinopathy. In this paper, we propose an efficient method for microaneurysms detection. We propose an Att-UCtransnet network to extract the MA candidate region, where only positive samples which contain at least one microaneurysm are chosen. Inspired by the concept of the effective receptive field (ERF), we design an algorithm to adaptively select the appropriate patch size, preserving crucial information around the microaneurysm while minimizing interference from irrelevant environments. Besides, we introduce a classification network for accurate mass detection in whole fundus images. Extensive experiments conducted on four publicly available datasets demonstrate that our method outperforms the state-of-the-art approaches in MA detection.

Understanding program behavior is crucial in computer architecture research, but the growing size of benchmarks makes analyzing and simulating entire programs increasingly challenging. In practice, researchers often select representative program intervals for analysis and testing. These intervals are different sections of continuous execution of a program. SimPoint is a well-known method for selecting representative intervals using hardware-independent information. However, when focusing on a specific microarchitecture study, it is desirable to select intervals that are more relevant to that study. For instance, intervals with more branch mispredictions are more appropriate for branch prediction studies. We refer to these intervals as "tailored intervals" for branch prediction *** paper presents a Multi-level Behavior Analysis guided Program Interval Selection (MBAPIS) for selecting tailored intervals. For a given microarchitecture study, the first level of MBAPIS uses hardware performance counters to prioritize selecting the intervals that exhibit clearer microarchitectural characteristics relevant to that study. The second level analyzes the processor performance bottlenecks to further select the intervals where the concerned microarchitecture design more strongly impacts performance. Finally, MBAPIS performs clustering analysis with the basic block information of each interval selected by the first two levels, and selects the representative intervals among them while preserving the diverse software behavior. Additionally, we present a general and extensible interval-replaying design to accurately re-execute selected *** SPEC CPU2006 and CPU2017 benchmarks are used for evaluation.
