The advancement of intelligent transportation systems underscores the importance of data-driven approaches in traffic forecasting, which plays a crucial role in tasks such as traffic signal control and route guidance, among others. However, the inherent uncertainty stemming from regional traffic dynamics, coupled with intricate spatio-temporal correlations, poses formidable challenges to accurate traffic prediction. Moreover, the complexities inherent in sequence forecasting across varying scales further exacerbate the accuracy dilemma. Recognizing the need for integrating information across spatial and temporal dimensions to enhance forecasting precision, a novel solution termed Spatial Temporal Masked Autoencoder (STMAE) is introduced. The STMAE framework addresses these challenges through a two-stage learning process. In the pre-training phase, an autoencoder architecture is employed to extract spatio-temporal features from the data. In the fine-tuning phase, the pre-trained encoder of the STMAE model undergoes further refinement to specifically target traffic forecasting tasks. Extensive evaluations validate the effectiveness of the proposed STMAE model. Notably, STMAE demonstrates competitive performance, achieving 3.32 Vehs MAE for long-term (60 min) traffic forecasting while operating within a reduced computational budget. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

The application of hybrid pixel detectors with a dynamically selectable readout mode in X-ray imaging is highly desirable. The concept of a detector system that can switch readout mode under different conditions is demanded to realize fast and versatile imaging. This paper presents design techniques and preliminary results of a pixel readout ASIC prototype with a reconfigurable readout scheme in a 180 nm CMOS process for silicon pixel detectors. A bus-based reconfigurable data readout scheme is presented. Three readout modes are realized: full-frame readout, zero-suppression readout, and region-of-interest readout. In particular application scenarios, the readout mode will be switched based on the number of pixels with valid data to improve the frame rate. Assuming that all pixels with valid data are transmitted, the reconfigurable data readout method saves 40 % of the data transmission time than zero-suppression readout under 50 MHz. © 2022 IEEE.

We investigate the application of ByteTrack in the realm of multiple object tracking. ByteTrack, a simple tracking algorithm, enables the simultaneous tracking of multiple objects by strategically incorporating detections with a low confidence threshold. Conventionally, objects are initially associated with high confidence threshold detections. When the association between objects and detections becomes ambiguous, ByteTrack extends the association to lower confidence threshold detections. One notable drawback of the existing ByteTrack approach is its reliance on a fixed threshold to differentiate between high and low-confidence detections. In response to this limitation, we introduce a novel and adaptive approach. Our proposed method entails a dynamic adjustment of the confidence threshold, leveraging insights derived from overall detections. Through experimentation, we demonstrate the effectiveness of our adaptive confidence threshold technique while maintaining running time compared to ByteTrack. © 2023, CC BY.

Representation learning for post-mapping (PM) netlists is a critical challenge in Electronic Design Automation (EDA), driven by the diverse and complex nature of modern circuit designs. Existing approaches focus on intermediate representations like And-Inverter Graphs (AIGs), limiting their applicability to post-synthesis stages. We introduce DeepCell, a multiview representation learning framework that integrates structural and functional insights from both PM netlists and AIGs to learn rich, generalizable embeddings. At its core, DeepCell employs the novel Mask Circuit Modeling (MCM) mechanism, which refines PM netlist representations in a self-supervised manner using pretrained AIG encoders. DeepCell sets a new benchmark in PM netlist representation, outperforming existing methods in predictive accuracy and reconstruction fidelity. To validate its efficacy, we apply DeepCell to functional engineering Change Orders (ECO), achieving significant reductions in patch generation costs and runtime while improving patch quality. Digital signal processing is critical during the use of sensor-clouds, and the data information acquired by sensors is inevitably noisy. The Variational Mode Decomposition (VMD) algorithm can be used to reduce noise on the signal. The selection of the modal decomposition number of the VMD algorithm and the selection of the modal components of the reconstructed signal affect the effect of signal noise reduction. In this paper, an adaptive variational mode decomposition scheme is proposed. It adaptively selects the modal decomposition number through the established modal decomposition number and the input signal sample entropy model, selects the optimal modal component according to the sample entropy threshold, and reconstructs the signal after the selected modal component is processed by data smoothing. The results show that compared with traditional variational mode decomposition, empirical mode decomposition algorithms, and other algorithms, the effect of adaptive variational mode decomposition in filtering out signal noise is analyzed. The proposed adaptive VMD (A-VMD) algorithm can effectively filter out the noise of the signal obtained by the sensor. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Wafer-scale synthesis of p-type TMD films is critical for its commercialization in next-generation electro/*** this work,wafer-scale intrinsic n-type WS_(2)films and in situ Nb-doped p-type WS_(2)films were synthesized through atomic layer deposition(ALD)on 8-inchα-Al_(2)O_(3)/Si wafers,2-inch sapphire,and 1 cm^(2)GaN substrate *** Nb doping concentration was precisely controlled by altering cycle number of Nb precursor and activated by ***_(2)n-FETs and Nb-doped p-FETs with different Nb concentrations have been fabricated using CMOS-compatible processes.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,Raman spectroscopy,and Hall measurements confirmed the effective substitutional doping with *** on/off ratio and electron mobility of WS_(2)n-FET are as high as 105 and 6.85 cm^(2)V^(-1)s^(-1),*** WS_(2)p-FET with 15-cycle Nb doping,the on/off ratio and hole mobility are 10 and 0.016 cm^(2)V^(-1)s^(-1),*** p-n structure based on n-and p-type WS_(2)films was proved with a 10^(4)rectifying *** realization of controllable in situ Nb-doped WS_(2)films paved a way for fabricating wafer-scale complementary WS_(2)FETs.

Automated identification of myocardial scar from late gadolinium enhancement cardiac magnetic resonance images (LGE-CMR) is limited by image noise and artifacts such as those related to motion and partial volume effect. This paper presents a novel joint deep learning (JDL) framework that improves such tasks by utilizing simultaneously learned myocardium segmentations to eliminate negative effects from non-region-of-interest areas. In contrast to previous approaches treating scar detection and myocardium segmentation as separate or parallel tasks, our proposed method introduces a message passing module where the information of myocardium segmentation is directly passed to guide scar detectors. This newly designed network will efficiently exploit joint information from the two related tasks and use all available sources of myocardium segmentation to benefit scar identification. We demonstrate the effectiveness of JDL on LGE-CMR images for automated left ventricular (LV) scar detection, with great potential to improve risk prediction in patients with both ischemic and non-ischemic heart disease and to improve response rates to cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) for heart failure patients. Experimental results show that our proposed approach outperforms multiple state-of-the-art methods, including commonly used two-step segmentation-classification networks, and multitask learning schemes where subtasks are indirectly interacted.
