Representation learning for post-mapping (PM) netlists is a critical challenge in Electronic Design Automation (EDA), driven by the diverse and complex nature of modern circuit designs. Existing approaches focus on intermediate representations like And-Inverter Graphs (AIGs), limiting their applicability to post-synthesis stages. We introduce DeepCell, a multiview representation learning framework that integrates structural and functional insights from both PM netlists and AIGs to learn rich, generalizable embeddings. At its core, DeepCell employs the novel Mask Circuit Modeling (MCM) mechanism, which refines PM netlist representations in a self-supervised manner using pretrained AIG encoders. DeepCell sets a new benchmark in PM netlist representation, outperforming existing methods in predictive accuracy and reconstruction fidelity. To validate its efficacy, we apply DeepCell to functional engineering Change Orders (ECO), achieving significant reductions in patch generation costs and runtime while improving patch quality. The mobile data traffic has been exponentially growing during the last several *** was enabled by the densification of the network infrastructure in terms of increased cell density(i.e.,Ultra-Dense Network(UDN))and/or the increased number of active antennas per Access Point(AP)(i.e.,massive Multiple-Input Multiple-Output(mMIMO)).However,neither UDN nor mMIMO will meet the increasing demand for the data rate of the Sixth Generation(6G)wireless communications due to the inter-cell interference and large quality-of-service ***-Free(CF)mMIMO,which combines the best aspects of UDN and mMIMO,is viewed as a key solution to this *** such systems,each User Equipment(UE)is served by a preferred set of surrounding APs *** this paper,we provide a survey of the state-of-the-art literature on CF *** a starting point,the significance and the basic properties of CF mMIMO are *** then present the canonical framework to discuss the essential details(i.e.,transmission procedure and mathematical system model).Next,we provide a deep look at the resource allocation and signal processing problems related to CF mMIMO and survey the up-to-date schemes and *** that,we discuss the practical issues in implementing CF mMIMO and point out the potential future ***,we conclude this paper with a summary of the key lessons learned in this field.

Automated identification of myocardial scar from late gadolinium enhancement cardiac magnetic resonance images (LGE-CMR) is limited by image noise and artifacts such as those related to motion and partial volume effect. This paper presents a novel joint deep learning (JDL) framework that improves such tasks by utilizing simultaneously learned myocardium segmentations to eliminate negative effects from non-region-of-interest areas. In contrast to previous approaches treating scar detection and myocardium segmentation as separate or parallel tasks, our proposed method introduces a message passing module where the information of myocardium segmentation is directly passed to guide scar detectors. This newly designed network will efficiently exploit joint information from the two related tasks and use all available sources of myocardium segmentation to benefit scar identification. We demonstrate the effectiveness of JDL on LGE-CMR images for automated left ventricular (LV) scar detection, with great potential to improve risk prediction in patients with both ischemic and non-ischemic heart disease and to improve response rates to cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) for heart failure patients. Experimental results show that our proposed approach outperforms multiple state-of-the-art methods, including commonly used two-step segmentation-classification networks, and multitask learning schemes where subtasks are indirectly interacted.

This study proposes a novel nature-inspired meta-heuristic optimizer based on the Reptile Search Algorithm combed with Salp Swarm Algorithm for image segmentation using gray-scale multi-level thresholding,called *** proposed method introduces a better search space to find the optimal solution at each ***,we proposed RSA-SSA to avoid the searching problem in the same area and determine the optimal multi-level *** obtained solutions by the proposed method are represented using the image *** proposed RSA-SSA employed Otsu’s variance class function to get the best threshold values at each *** performance measure for the proposed method is valid by detecting fitness function,structural similarity index,peak signal-to-noise ratio,and Friedman ranking *** benchmark images of COVID-19 validate the performance of the proposed *** results showed that the proposed RSA-SSA outperformed other metaheuristics optimization algorithms published in the literature.

Wafer-scale synthesis of p-type TMD films is critical for its commercialization in next-generation electro/*** this work,wafer-scale intrinsic n-type WS_(2)films and in situ Nb-doped p-type WS_(2)films were synthesized through atomic layer deposition(ALD)on 8-inchα-Al_(2)O_(3)/Si wafers,2-inch sapphire,and 1 cm^(2)GaN substrate *** Nb doping concentration was precisely controlled by altering cycle number of Nb precursor and activated by ***_(2)n-FETs and Nb-doped p-FETs with different Nb concentrations have been fabricated using CMOS-compatible processes.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,Raman spectroscopy,and Hall measurements confirmed the effective substitutional doping with *** on/off ratio and electron mobility of WS_(2)n-FET are as high as 105 and 6.85 cm^(2)V^(-1)s^(-1),*** WS_(2)p-FET with 15-cycle Nb doping,the on/off ratio and hole mobility are 10 and 0.016 cm^(2)V^(-1)s^(-1),*** p-n structure based on n-and p-type WS_(2)films was proved with a 10^(4)rectifying *** realization of controllable in situ Nb-doped WS_(2)films paved a way for fabricating wafer-scale complementary WS_(2)FETs.

High Efficiency Wiener Filter-based Point Cloud Quality Enhancement for MPEG G-PCC

Point clouds, which directly record the geometry and attributes of scenes or objects by a large number of points, are widely used in various applications such as virtual reality and immersive communication. However, due to the huge data volume and unstructured geometry, efficient compression of point clouds is very crucial. The Moving Picture Expert Group is establishing a geometry-based point cloud compression (G-PCC) standard for both static and dynamic point clouds in recent years. Although lossy compression of G-PCC can achieve a very high compression ratio, the reconstruction quality is relatively low, especially at low bitrates. To mitigate this problem, we propose a high efficiency Wiener filter that can be integrated into the encoder and decoder pipeline of G-PCC to improve the reconstruction quality as well as the rate-distortion performance for dynamic point clouds. Specifically, we first propose a basic Wiener filter, and then improve it by introducing coefficients inheritance and variance-based point classification for the Luma component. Besides, to reduce the complexity of the nearest neighbor search during the application of the Wiener filter, we also propose a Morton code-based fast nearest neighbor search algorithm for efficient calculation of filter coefficients. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can achieve average Bjøntegaard delta rates of -6.1%, -7.3%, and -8.0% for Luma, Chroma Cb, and Chroma Cr components, respectively, under the condition of lossless-geometry-lossy-attributes configuration compared to the latest G-PCC encoding platform (i.e., geometry-based solid content test model version 7.0 release candidate 2) by consuming affordable computational complexity. © 2025 IEEE. Multi-Objective Optimization Problem With Hardly Dominated Boundaries: Benchmark, Analysis, and Indicator-Based Algorithm

The hardly dominated boundary (HDB) is commonly observed in multi-objective optimization problems (HDBMOPs). However, there are only a few benchmark problems related to HDB-MOPs in the evolutionary computation community, which is insufficient to validate the performance of multi-objective evolutionary algorithms (MOEAs). In this paper, we first introduce a new set of HDB-MOPs characterized by various shapes of Pareto fronts and scalable HDB sizes. We then systematically analyze the capabilities of several representative existing MOEAs in handling HDB-MOPs and reveal their strengths and weaknesses in solving this type of problem. Finally, based on this insightful analysis, we propose an indicator-based MOEA with an adaptive reference point to effectively address HDB-MOPs. Personalized recommendation systems have become one of the most important Internet services nowadays. A critical challenge of training and deploying the recommendation models is their high memory capacity and bandwidth demands, with the embedding layers occupying hundreds of GBs to TBs of storage. The advent of memory disaggregation technology and Compute Express Link (CXL) provides a promising solution for memory capacity scaling. However, relocating memory-intensive embedding layers to CXL memory incurs noticeable performance degradation due to its limited transmission bandwidth, which is significantly lower than the host memory bandwidth. To address this, we introduce ReCXL, a CXL memory disaggregation system that utilizes near-memory processing for scalable, efficient recommendation model training. ReCXL features a unified, hardwareefficient NMP architecture that processes the entire embedding training within CXL memory, minimizing data transfers over the bandwidth-limited CXL and enhancing internal bandwidth. To further improve the performance, ReCXL incorporates softwarehardware co-optimizations, including sophisticated dependencyfree prefetching and fine-grained update scheduling, to maximize hardware utilization. Evaluation results show that ReCXL outperforms the CPU-GPU baseline and the naïve CXL memory by $7.1 \times \sim 10.6 \times(9.4 \times$ on average) and $12.7 \times \sim 31.3 \times(22.6 \times$ on average), respectively.

DEGSTalk: Decomposed Per-Embedding Gaussian Fields for Hair-Preserving Talking Face Synthesis

Accurately synthesizing talking face videos and capturing fine facial features for individuals with long hair presents a significant challenge. To tackle these challenges in existing methods, we propose a decomposed per-embedding Gaussian fields (DEGSTalk), a 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS)-based talking face synthesis method for generating realistic talking faces with long hairs. Our DEGSTalk employs Deformable Pre-Embedding Gaussian Fields, which dynamically adjust pre-embedding Gaussian primitives using implicit expression coefficients. This enables precise capture of dynamic facial regions and subtle expressions. Additionally, we propose a Dynamic Hair-Preserving Portrait Rendering technique to enhance the realism of long hair motions in the synthesized videos. Results show that DEGSTalk achieves improved realism and synthesis quality compared to existing approaches, particularly in handling complex facial dynamics and hair preservation. Implicit Supervision-Assisted Graph Collaborative Filtering for Third-Party Library Recommendation

Third-party libraries (TPLs) play a crucial role in software development. Utilizing TPL recommender systems can aid software developers in promptly finding useful TPLs. A number of TPL recommendation approaches have been proposed and among them graph neural network (GNN)-based recommendation is attracting the most attention. However, GNN-based approaches generate node representations through multiple convolutional aggregations, which is prone to introducing noise, resulting in the over-smoothing issue. In addition, due to the high sparsity of labelled data, node representations may be biased in real-world scenarios. To address these issues, this paper presents a TPL recommendation method named Implicit Supervision-assisted Graph Collaborative Filtering (ISGCF). Specifically, it takes the App-TPL interaction relationships as input and employs a popularity-debiased method to generate denoised App and TPL graphs. This reduces the noise introduced during graph convolution and alleviates the over-smoothing issue. It also employs a novel implicitly-supervised loss function to exploit the labelled data to learn enhanced node representations. Extensive experiments on a large-scale real-world dataset demonstrate that ISGCF achieves a significant performance advantage over other state-of-the-art TPL recommendation methods in Recall, NDCG and MAP. The experiments also validate the superiority of ISGCF in mitigating the over-smoothing problem.
