This paper trying to create something new regarding the online game marketplace for producing an integrated marketplace with several combined genre and categories of games. The primary purpose of this research is to develop e-commerce for online games and explain the benefit that people can get from it. This research focuses on building an online marketplace based on a website that can provide an opportunity to do it transaction related to a specific game. Mainly, the online games marketplace quality will be based on user satisfaction and user recommendation from the previous research. Meanwhile, these satisfaction level include four dimensions that decide the perceived value of the user reason for purchasing an online games item, which are functional value, emotional value, monetary value, and social value. From that information, we build a marketplace for online games item to satisfy the user requirement and also benefiting with its advantages. We also provide the difference between e-commerce mainly with our proposed e-commerce for online games item. The results will be a full-fledged web-based application for online games item marketplace. This paper will be an opportunity to further development of online games marketplace for the growth of online games transaction. © 2019 IEEE.

Structural colors generated due to light scattering from static all-dielectric metasurfaces have successfully enabled high-resolution, high-saturation and wide-gamut color printing applications. Despite recent advances, most demonstrations of these structure-dependent colors lack post-fabrication tunability that hinders their applicability for front-end dynamic display technologies. Phase-change materials (PCMs), with significant contrast of their optical properties between their amorphous and crystalline states, have demonstrated promising potentials in reconfigurable nanophotonics. Herein, we leverage a tunable all-dielectric reflective metasurface made of a newly emerged class of low-loss optical PCMs with superb characteristics, i.e., antimony trisulphide (Sb2S3), antimony triselenide (Sb2Se3), and binary germanium-doped selenide (GeSe3), to realize switchable, high-saturation, high-efficiency and high-resolution structural colors. Having polarization sensitive building blocks, the presented metasurface can generate two different colors when illuminated by two orthogonally polarized incident beams. Such degrees of freedom (i.e., structural state and polarization) enable a single reconfigurable metasurface with fixed geometrical parameters to generate four distinct wide-gamut colors suitable for a wide range of applications, including tunable full-color printing and displays, information encryption, and anti-counterfeiting. © 2021, CC BY.

Pneumonia is a bacterial, viral, or fungal infection that causes swelling of the tissues in one or both lungs. Diagnosis for pneumonia requires an expert to find anomalies in the X-ray images, as it is a widespread disease, and it is not always possible for doctors to review all the cases. Most of the caused deaths are due to late diagnosis or some human error, which leads to an incorrect diagnosis of the disease. In this paper, we propose a novel approach to make an automated diagnosis and identify infected regions in the lungs. The proposed method uses a Mask RCNN object detector, which can identify anomalies in the lungs and also detect whether that anomaly is a pneumonia infection or is some other type of lung disease. The experimental results state that our proposed method gets an IoU score of 0.155, which is about 9% improvement other methods, i.e., YOLOv3, UNet, and Resnet used for Pneumonia infected tissue identification.

Recent progress in image-based medical disease detection encounters challenges such as limited annotated data sets, inadequate spatial feature analysis, data security issues, and inefficient training frameworks. This study introduces a data-efficient image transformer (DeIT)-based approach that overcomes these challenges by utilizing multiscale patch embedding for better feature extraction and stratified weighted random sampling to address class imbalance. The model also incorporates a LoRA-enhanced transformer encoder, a distillation framework, and federated learning for decentralized training, improving both efficiency and data security. Consequently, it achieves state-of-the-art performance, with the highest AUC, F1 score, precision, minimal loss, and Top-5 accuracy. Additionally, Grad-CAM++ visualizations improve interpretability by highlighting critical pathological regions, enhancing the model’s clinical relevance. These results highlight the potential of this approach to advance AI-powered medical imaging and disease detection. Copyright © 2025, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Despite the devastating effects of floods, the concept of resilience is still not fully considered in the assessment and management of flood risk. To study how resilience can lower the risk of floods and further enhance disaster response, this research aims to close this knowledge gap. With a focus on the Kashkan watershed in Iran, the study combines the extended catastrophe progression method with the pressure-state-response model. Three catastrophe models, namely the cusp, swallowtail, and butterfly, are applied. According to the findings, southern regions, i.e., Pol-Dokhtar city, have the highest risk of floods and the lowest resilience. Resilience and flood risk have a complementary relationship, according to the analysis, and resilience is a helpful metric for risk assessment. The results emphasize the necessity to incorporate resilience-focused pre-disruption planning and post-disaster recovery into flood risk management strategy. This work offers a foundation to incorporate resilience into future flood policies and strategies.

Let G be a graph and T1,T2 be two spanning trees of G. We say that T1 can be transformed into T2 via an edge flip if there exist two edges e ∈ T1 and f in T2 such that T2 = (T1 \e)∪f. Since spanning trees form a matroid, one can indeed transform a spanning tree into any other via a sequence of edge flips, as observed in [11]. We investigate the problem of determining, given two spanning trees T1,T2 with an additional property Π, if there exists an edge flip transformation from T1 to T2 keeping property Π all along. First we show that determining if there exists a transformation from T1 to T2 such that all the trees of the sequence have at most k (for any fixed k ≥ 3) leaves is PSPACE-complete. We then prove that determining if there exists a transformation from T1 to T2 such that all the trees of the sequence have at least k leaves (where k is part of the input) is PSPACE-complete even restricted to split, bipartite or planar graphs. In this paper, we investigate influences of the network delay on haptic cooperative work in a networked virtual environment by experiment. In the work, two users carry an object cooperatively in a networked maze system by manipulating haptic interface devices. We handle two carrying methods in our experiment. In one method, the two users hold the object. In the other method, one user holds the object and the other user pushes it. We measure the operation time and reaction force, and we compare them between the two methods. Experimental results demonstrate that the former method has smaller average operation time than the latter method, but the average reaction force is larger in the former.

Antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) represent a transformative approach in cancer therapy, combining the specificity of monoclonal antibodies with targeted delivery of potent cytotoxic drugs to tumors. Discovery of novel antigens has been the hallmark for development of ADC therapeutics and MUC1 is one such oncoprotein, which has garnered renewed interest recently. The 3D1 antibody, engineered to bind specifically to the alpha 3 (α3) helix of the MUC1-C/extracellular domain, is being actively developed towards clinical translation. The study examined the conformational coupling in the residues spanning the MUC1 sea urchin sperm protein, enterokinase, and agrin domain (SEA), which incorporates MUC1-C. 3D1 has been shown to be sensitive to three specific point mutations—D85E, V86A, and T88A— at the interaction surface between MUC1-C and the 3D1 antibody. Our findings reveal that D85E and T88A mutations cause significant conformational shifts and reduced binding affinity due to altered electrostatic interactions and hydrogen bonding. The V86A mutation, while maintaining the overall conformation, disrupts local hydrophobic interactions, leading to decreased binding efficiency. Further, residue 85 in the wild-type (WT) MUC1 SEA domain interacts with other residues, contributing to local frustration and destabilization. Mutants D85E, V86A, and T88A exhibited similar frustration patterns but with increased local energy, indicating reduced stability. Frustration calculations highlighted the crucial role of the α3 helix in protein stability and antibody interaction. Collectively, these data highlight the importance of specific residues contributing to the local frustration in maintaining effective antibody binding and suggest that mutations impacting these residues can significantly alter antigen binding dynamics.

Encoder-decoder based convolutional neural networks with multi-scale-aware modules for crowd counting

In this paper, we propose two modified neural networks based on dual path multi-scale fusion networks (SFANet) and SegNet for accurate and efficient crowd counting. Inspired by SFANet, the first model, which is named M-SFANet, is attached with atrous spatial pyramid pooling (ASPP) and context-aware module (CAN). The encoder of M-SFANet is enhanced with ASPP containing parallel atrous convolutional layers with different sampling rates and hence able to extract multi-scale features of the target object and incorporate larger context. To further deal with scale variation throughout an input image, we leverage the CAN module which adaptively encodes the scales of the contextual information. The combination yields an effective model for counting in both dense and sparse crowd scenes. Based on the SFANet decoder structure, M-SFANet's decoder has dual paths, for density map and attention map generation. The second model is called M-SegNet, which is produced by replacing the bilinear upsampling in SFANet with max unpooling that is used in SegNet. This change provides a faster model while providing competitive counting performance. Designed for high-speed surveillance applications, M-SegNet has no additional multi-scale-aware module in order to not increase the complexity. Both models are encoder-decoder based architectures and are end-to-end trainable. We conduct extensive experiments on five crowd counting datasets and one vehicle counting dataset to show that these modifications yield algorithms that could improve state-of-the-art crowd counting methods. A novel Ni-MOF@S-CQDs nanocomposite was synthesized directly into the pores of a polystyrene foam. It was characterized using FTIR, XRD, SEM, and SEM-EDX techniques. The adsorbent was effectively applied for the extraction of Pb (II) from water, juice, and iced tea samples, followed by analysis using UV-VIS spectrometry. Various analytical factors, including pH, adsorbent amount, adsorption and desorption times, and sample volume, were studied. Under the optimum conditions, the analytical features were obtained; the LDR of 50–5000 μg L −1 , the LOD of 15 μg L −1 , and the RSDs% of 2.0 and 4.0 for intra-day and inter-day, respectively. The preconcentration (PF) and the enrichment (EF) factors of 30, the factor of 28.5, and the extraction efficiency (EE) of 95 % were obtained. Certified reference materials (CRMs) were used to validate the novel Polystyrene Foam-Pipette Tip Micro-Solid Phase Extraction (PFPT-μSPE) technique. This study is eco-friendly, accurate, and economical for the extraction of Pb (II) from water and beverage samples.
